We only go during the overlay. Most recently over the summer, they had an 80s and 90s overlay and we loved it! It was so much fun, lots of decorations, theming inside, special drinks and great music. During the overlay there is no cover, I'm not sure if there is at other times throughout the year. You can also bring food inside which we also do sometimes. Inside has two floors with seating on both. The dance floor and DJ is on the first floor. It can get very loud and very busy inside but the music is always good. The drinks are fine, they are usually very sweet, the specialty ones and can get very pricey. I usually do not love the drinks here and I honestly think beer and wine is the best way to go. I will also say that their drinks are extremely expensive, they come in usually around $20 which is high and they are not very large. The bartenders are always really friendly and chatty. Overall I do think this is a fun place. Kids are welcome here, I think until a certain time. But it is a fun place. We like to go for a night out or a fun night with our friends. The current overlay is Dead Coconut Club for Halloween Horror Nights. And they will more than likely do something for Christmas. I definitely think this is worth checking out.

I had my 82 yr old father and 49 yr old Down's syndrome brother with me. My dad's mobility scooter ran out of power and there were no outlets to be found. I was pushing the scooter for an hour as my father struggled to walk with his cane when we reached the steps of the restaurant. The manager said she was more than willing to let us charge the scooter as we ate which was above and beyond what they needed to do. It went further. I discussed how bad of a day we were having and she brought us an appetizer and said she hoped that might help in leasing the bad day. Another employee helped my ailing father up some stairs and to the table. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Instead of making us walk back to the front where the scooter was charging, another manager brought it to our table. I don't think they realized how much that meant to us and me. Both my dad and brother have challenges and I have to help a lot which I am willing to do but by Margaritaville and their staff giving me a small respite and helping us out, it meant the world to all three of us by helping out when they had 0 obligation to. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option.
