Curtis suggested that we meet with him and take a look at his work and packages. We looked online and also went into his studio space and saw his albums. We loved his work. Curtis was very professional. From the beginning he told us of all the options we had for payment as well as the services he provided. Curtis can not only do very small events but also very large scale elaborate events. I am very organized and appreciated that Curtis took the time to ask all the right questions and ensured that he knew exactly what we wanted. He knew where to be, at what time to be there, and what to bring. He guided us through much of the process and ensured that we were prepared prior to our big day. Curtis was always there to answer all my questions. He was an email away and always answered in a timely manner. We got married at the end of September at 6 p.m. Needless to say we had very little time left with good lighting and it was very windy outside. Curtis did an amazing job with our pictures. He was able to handle all the crazy personalities we had at our event. He catered to us the entire night to ensure all of our family was able to get the pictures that they wanted. Curtis created a large picture for us that we used for our guests to sign (we used it as our guest book) that was absolutely beautiful. He got us several edited shots just days after our wedding and even edited a shot that I wanted to send to my family a week later. He was amazing! I researched different photographers and Andrea caught my eye for 2 reasons: her beautiful, timeless and elegant photos and her dialogue around doing a boudoir photo shoot. She starts with introspective questions about what you want to portray in your photos. She nurtures a healthy body image along the way and makes you feel your best from the inside out. That is truly her magic. The day itself was so special where I got to step out of my normal routine and into the routine of a super model. Andrea and her team had every detail worked out, so I could just relax and go with it. I visited Andrea again to review the photos to choose my favorites. There were too many and I ended up making the book bigger to solve that "problem." The end product is two books (boudoir + fine art) full of beautiful, professional photos. Viv was immediately our first choice because she has an incredible portfolio of photographing in redwoods and nature which is sometimes very difficult to photograph with the different lighting. We are a bit awkward but from the get go, she was easy to talk to and was also organized. Our wedding was on the casual side so we did not have a planner but Viv was on top of everything and even though we had a day of coordinator, Viv was the one coordinating when it was her time and took lead which was much needed to wrangle everyone. The wedding was a tiny bit chaotic, running behind and rather short but Viv did a fantastic job capturing candid moments and making sure to pull us away for portrait photos away from everyone else before the wedding ended. She was professional and there wasn't a moment where I thought she was distracted. He was able to accommodate our four legged family members as well which was very important to us. Once again, he did an amazing job and we can't wait to work with him in the future. We highly recommend his service. **Something we just learned was that all of our family photos came with a "unedited" watermark unlike wedding and event photos. You are allotted 10 photos to have edited (included w. your fee) but every additional photo will have to be edited and comes with an additional cost. For example if you have 30 photos altogether, you picked your top ten you'd like to have edited and want the other 20 for your photo album, you will have to pay for those photos without the watermark. We still recommend his services but it could turn into a $1000 expense if you like all of your photos like we did.
