Overheard one lady ask for a table outside when we were done and the waitress said to check with the hostess. Our waitress was very attentive. Fat tire beer on tap. The prices were very decent. The most expensive thing on the menu was my ravioli dish which was only $13. A slice of pizza was about $4 and a whole pie was about $12 I believe. Definitely cheap for Vail. A slice of pizza on the mountain would easily be $10. So I went on a whim and got the lobster and shrimp ravioli with a white wine cream sauce. For what it is and where I was it was outstanding. The sauce was nice and creamy, but lighter than alfredo, and the raviolis were a good size. The lobster and shrimp stuffing was more like a paste, but overall good. I went here last night after a long day of traveling to Vail. There's an upstairs and a downstairs, the downstairs serves a full menu and upstairs is only drinks, pizza, and apps. This was a really fun place to hang out, and the atmosphere was great! I had a Moscow mule which was good, however the pizza wasn't the best and neither was the salad. First time in Vail, CO and I had dinner at Vendetta`s with my large group of 12. Read the reviews on yelp and most people stated that pizza is the thing to order here, although it's categorized as an Italian restaurant. Read another review from a New Yorker who proclaimed that for Denver standards, this place had the best pizza in town, but not quite New York pizza caliber. Loved this review as it`s from a New Yorker pizza connoisseur. Vendetta's pizza was given about 3 1/2 stars out of 5 for best pizza in Denver, with a nice patio atmosphere and good thin crust. So, I get here and I`m slightly disappointed that it`s a bar setting. Yea, the patio area looks nice in the dark with some type of patio lighting, but who wants to sit in the patio in cool 40 degree Vail evening weather. Not me. Our group of 12 sat on the borderline of outside and inside, so I was half cold half warm, half in a cute setting, half in a bar football freaks setting, while also getting constantly stabbed by a fork in my buttocks area by a 1 year old infant sitting behind me at the outdoor patio area. Yea, quite the evening. Lovely. My shivering cold body craved warmth, and with warmth I craved food to add to my layers of body warmth I desperately needed. I ordered an 18 inch garlic with sun dried tomato pizza to share with 3 other ladies along with a sideorder of the prime rib carpaccio. It was okay, as I am being nice. Not worth salivating for next time I come here. I had to add some olive oil on this plate to make it more worth eating. My main order of pizza came, and it was ginormous. Our table, had too many round pizzas on a stand....so overwhelming, it was filling just to look at all the pizzas we had. But mine was good, and just as the New Yorker said, it`s good for Denver standards, but not up at the same level as the NY east coast pizzas. The one time I had really good pizza was both in Chicago eating that oven baked pizza and New Jersey`s thin but super cheesy with rich tomato sauce on it. I knew when I had these pizzas from these two regions that it would be considered the best pizza because I was certain my arteries would get clogged from all the rich and heavy cheese I was putting into my body, along with the greasiness. So, did I feel like my eyes were going to pop and my heart was going to stop pounding because of the overwhelming cheesy and greasy experience? No, not really. So I can concur with that New Yorker who posted that review on yelp. I realize at the end of my trip here in Vail, CO, that eating pizza is a popular dish as it is excellent comfort food for all the upcoming skiers who will arrive and start to trickle in in about a month and a half for the cold skiing season. read more

This place has great pizza. The crust is thin, airy, and crispy right down to crust. This spot is a great place to chill after a day of boarding / shopping at Vail Village and grab a beer and some hot food. My buddy got a salad with a filet of salmon the was cooked perfectly with crispy, golden brown crust. The environment is a casual spot and not at all pretentious. The bar area is an order/ pay first/ pick yo own food up spot - low key (with Fuel Channel playing in the background and you see some nasty falls from skateboarders). There's also restaurant area with a server and you pay after (+ tip) - didn't sit in this area so not sure about the ambience here. read more

It gets crowded so you may be in for a wait but it's convenient to the slopes and the pizza is great!! Eat outside of there's no wind. Staff is friendly. They strive to turn tables quickly during busy times. The menu certainly has a wide variety and lots of choices when it comes to beer/wine/cocktails. But honestly, the pizza was so good, it's all I ever ordered...slice of cheese and a 1/2 white, 1/2 meaty pie. All walked down with local craft beers. Yumm!! read more

Staff seemed really friendly but not a 5 star restaurant because its so damn dense in there when it gets crowded and youre literally hitting someone everywhere you turn. The restroom also only has one stall and can be tough to get into. Not very kid friendly as its so crowded and not enough seating so chairs need to be pulled from other peoples' tables. A great find for us, right off the ski slopes. The hostess and bartender were very friendly and our waitress Laura was great. The pizza is crazy delicious! Had a late lunch here after an entire morning and afternoon of skiing. Had their lunch special of chicken parm. and pizza. Food was tasty and served quickly. Prices are very reasonable here. Wait staff was courteous and friendly as well. We asked our waitress to take our pic and she choose the right angle with the sun at her back. They have a nice patio which we picked to eat in. It was a nice sunny 50 degree day so good choice in eating outdoors. I would recommend this place and if their patio is available sit there. They also have a nice wine and drink list. Pizza chefs were extremely rude when they got my order wrong, didn't apologize once & told me I had to pay for two extra pizzas. I went back in later and asked for the manager then found out the chef I had talked to WAS the manager. If you're representing a company, I don't suggest disrespecting a customer. No deal. Our server was great. Boyfriend ordered the mussels and clams...... First bite resulted in raised eyebrows. Questionable at best he said. Very stringy and not fresh. He hasn't sent a dish back in over 2 years. My beet salad was less than exciting. Beets were stiff and dried out. And they used feta instead of goat cheese. Hmmm. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza, tips were burnt. Slice was dried out. As if it had been cooked hours ago and was heated up before serving. A little disappointing. read more

Four stars for the overall experience in busy Vail. This place was recommended by our rafting guide for a good place to watch a game and have a pizza. Upon walking into the restaurant, the hostess immediately helped us find a quick spot at the bar and had the bartender switch one of the TVs to the game we were wanting to watch. We ordered a couple of appetizers - garlic cheese bread and hot wings - both of which were great . We were seated at a table in the front room for dinner . Good , busy ambiance . It did take us a few minutes to get the attention of a waiter. Both adults and kids really enjoyed the pizza, and my marguerita tasted really good. When most other restaurants in Vail Village were packed, Vendetta's offered a calm and inviting place to spend a dinner with the family. The Popeye's Passion pizza was delicious and huge, and I definitely recommend the stuffed shells and garlic bread to share. Service was extremely friendly and incredibly prompt, the music was at a nice ambient level, and I have zero complaints. Although a little on the pricier end ($20 per dish, though shareable), it was more than worth it, and would recommend to anyone looking for a calmer option than the pubs like The George. We came right off a nice ride from the gondola and stumbled upon this place. We had a southern woman as our server and she was great. I told her I was a buffalo wings connoisseur and she said I must try theirs. So I did. And I must say, for a $9 order of the bar menu I wasn't expecting much, but DANG. Quite possibly the best tasting wings I've ever eaten. Excellent sauce and lots of it, which is a plus for me, I hate dry wings. Not to mention they were big! If I were fortunate enough to frequent this area, I might have to order those wings once of twice per week. I asked our server why they didn't sell bottles of the sauce and she agreed with me.
