We met family for dinner here recently. It was a Monday, so the place was pretty empty when we first showed up but more people came in as we were there. The staff was lovely and accommodating. We had a party of seven and it was no problem for them them at all. we felt well attended to. They were very knowledgeable about the menu for one of our party that has an allergy and they had several things on the menu that they were able to choose from, including GF options for pizza and pasta. The food was delicious. Our table had salads, chicken piccata, ziti, ravioli pizza and a specialty chicken dish. The portions were large and most of us took some left overs home. The salads were dinner size and fresh. Everything seemed fresh and tasted so good. The locals in our party actually commented that they wanted to come back. We love Vendetti's! We get the Meat Lovers Paradise pizza from here all the time. It is a bit pricey, but delicious. We usually pick up and everyone's always so nice there. They're usually done before the amount of time they say it'll take too. The garlic knots are good too. We have tried their saltimbocca and the fettuccini Alfredo as well. I will say we weren't a fan of the saltimbocca but we've never had it before so maybe it just wasn't our thing. The Alfredo was pretty standard. First time here and I know it will not be my last! Honestly, the fact that they serve pizza by the slice all day long is the main reason I love it. Usually I find that Italian places only offer that for lunch hours, so I was so excited to find out slices are available all day, any day. Who doesn't love to grab a quick and delicious slice of pizza? We were sat right away, and service was A+. Our waiter was funny, attentive, and we were never left without drink refills or anything else we needed. The garlic knots were a delicious start, and we asked for a side of marinara to dip. I loved that they weren't too greasy which can sometimes be the case with garlic rolls/knots. I tried my best not to fill up on too many, but it was hard because they were that yummy! Of course, I went for 2 slices of pizza for my main dish. One plain cheese and the other a veggie with no mushroom. Pizza is definitely NY style which I love. Super thin slices but with normal crust, and the slices were large and very filling. The veggie was loaded up with toppings and included all of my favorite veggies. I'm giving it five stars because we may have caused the problem. We are from the north east and have a certain type of pizza we like, so we tend to ask for an extra large pizza so that the dough is as thin as it can be. My husband also specified he didn't want wet pizza, and a lot of times a margherita can be wet because of the fresh mozzarella. He also asked for it to be a little more well done so that it would be crispy, so I think that when it came out looking pretty dry, and kind of cracker like, was because of how we asked for it to be prepared. Our server was super nice and promptly brought us out a bowl of marinara when we asked for it and it made it so much better. Speaking of marinara, it has wonderful chunks of tomatoes in it, a slight kick without being spicy and very delicious. I think next time we will trust them! read more

We tried to call to make reservations so they could prepare ahead of time, but they don't accept reservations. That's ok. This new spot is a keeper on our list. The food is good! I ordered the spaghetti - the my test dish to see how "Italian" a place is. Stick to the pizza and stay away from other menu items. We normally do pizza from this location and find it the closest to traditional NY/NJ style in the local area. Recently we placed a takeout order for a variety of menu items and had a less than positive experience. When placing the order we were told 30 minutes for pickup and arrived 35 minutes later - allowing for the possibility than on a Saturday things may be busy. When we arrived there were certainly a decent number of tables, but the restaurant was not full and the pickup area was not busy at all. We were told that our order was not ready but would be done soon. We waited about 20-25 minutes more before the order was complete. That put the total time at or over and over an hour vs the 30 minute expectation that was set. The food itself was disappointing. Two of the items were cold and needed to be heated when we got - less than 5 min away. We would guess those items were sitting while the final items (that apparently took an hour) was being prepared. Another item was just plain disappointing or bad. The Tuscan chicken (ordered with extra chicken) was tasteless, the chicken is sliced to about a half inch think, overcooked and dry. The photo is three "pieces" of chicken, which is actually a paid extra. Those three would not even add up to a full chicken breast. And with the exception of garlic, it was tasteless and needed to be seasoned at home. Again, if you are looking for basic football Sunday pizza Vendetti's is fine, but for takeout Italian you might look elsewhere. read more

I ordered the lemon pepper wings here on a whim - and am SO glad I did. The wings were substantial in size and the flavor amazing. Both times the food arrived in a timely manner, warm, and exactly as ordered. We've ordered the following: Calamari Fritti $10.99 Classic Margherita (large) $17.99 White pizza with 2 additional toppings (large) $17.99+ The pizza is fantastic! I should have done this months ago but I didn't. I order their pizza just about every Sunday night and I wanted to comment on my orders, which are ALWAYS to go. I'm consistent. I order a large extra sauce pepperoni pizza with a small side of extra sauce. They have prepared my order the exact same way every time and it is exactly the same every Sunday night. Sometimes I also order the meatball parmigiana sub with fries and extra sauce too. I have to say, Vendetti's, thank you for treating me as if I was your only client, because every time I get home with my pizza and sometimes my pizza AND meatball sub I'm amazed at how delicious your food is. I was not asked to write this review, but after trying a kajillion different pizza take out restaurants, this has become my consistently favorite place for pizza.
