    Pizza

We really wanted to like this place since we live close . My wife and I tried it three times when it first opened a few years ago, but each time the pizza had a completely burnt bottom. After that, we stopped going. Recently, we decided to give it another chance, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, nothing has changed -- the entire bottom of our pizza was black again. It's disappointing that after all this time, they still haven't figured out how to properly bake their wood-fired pizza. We've never had this issue at Campania or Antico in Alpharetta, which consistently serve excellent pizza from similar ovens. We won't be returning -- there are simply better options nearby that get it right.

    Checking out their brunch!

The best pizza in town! The place is cozy and centers around a wood fire oven. You can sit at the bar or at a table. Their specialty pizzas are inventive, or you can make your own. The crust is thin and crispy. My favorite is the Sorrento. The meat is well spiced and I love the roasted garlic. We've also had most of their apps. The Red Pepper Bruschetta and Baked Feta are my favorites, great flavors and textures. The only one we were disappointed in was the meatballs, it was a very strange texture, almost too mushy and the sauce was a little bland. The cherry on top is Sunday...BRUNCH! Great selection of breakfast options and a mimosa flight with four flavors. They also have daily specials (1/2 price bottles of wine on Thursday...what!?!) and lots of entertainment (bands/trivia/karaoke). The entertainment is not listed on their website calendar, but you should be able to find out what's happening on their Facebook page.

    Brick * oven * pizza!

First visit, small, but comfortable eatery in a strip mall. Have their own brick oven. Ordered a large pie and it was quite good. It was Thursday night and they have half bottle wine night on Thursday. Only had a few draft beer offerings, would be nice if they had a few more featuring some local crafts.

We came on a Saturday around 1 pm. It was pretty crowded, but we didn't wait but a few minutes for a table. The place is much smaller than I expected, so I can't imagine bringing karaoke or other events without it being too loud. The place was a little cold, so I had to grab a jacket. Brandy was our server & bartender. They have a full bar so she was willing to make me an alter drunk than was was on the menu. She was great!! All of the food was great especially the garlic knots.

There's no shortage of pizzerias in the area but few stand out. This place is a new, notable exception to the bevy of joints slinging pies. While primarily wood-fired pizza is the star attraction to this place, there is a range of unexpected finds such as an adult Lunchable aka charcuterie, crab cakes, and a smashburger. The bar is fully stocked if you need a cocktail fix. Thursday sports half-off bottles of wine which, from what the server mentioned, draws quite a crowd. They don't accept reservations here, which is a bit disappointing and from appearance a necessary feature as the space is small and seating is limited. We arrived on Friday @ 6:30 to standing room only and a 20-minute wait which stretched into 30-40. The food was good. The company we had for dinner remarked it was the best pizza they've had in the area. I don't know about best, but it's up there.

They don't give you any change back. When I asked about the change, he said we only deal in dollar bills.

I got three appetizers. When I got my bill they charged a $1.30 convenience fee. And I paid cash. Also, I did not get any change back. When I asked about it, the individual said oh we only deal in dollars. What a crock! I ordered a glass of wine. The guy behind the bar was on the phone for over 10 minutes. He then came over and said do you still want your Merlot? I said no. On the positive side, the calamari was good. On the negative side, the veal meatballs was not. Did not eat the wings. Will try them later at home. The guy did apologize for the convenience fee, however, when he tried to make it right, I still got charged a fee.

10 inch pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Fantastic!!

Was not expecting what I walked into. Arguably one of the best pizza's in Forsyth County! Can't wait to go back and try the sandwiches and wings!

Pies on POST REVIEW. My wife and I went to try out & support a new local business - Pizza . We tried the: -Calamari - not cooked all the way ,hard calamari, breading not completely cooked golden brown and 0 flavor 0. -Panini pesto chicken - 0 pesto. 0 seasoning like none, hard chicken (don't believe it was cooked completely) and very thin -Fries: also not completely cooked and had no flavor. -Sweet tea: was really just brown sugar water with mango flavor. - Cheese pizza, not enough sauce, very thin crust and no flavor. Just ok mehh. -Bruschetta: was not bad, good flavor ,canned tomatoes, sweet. Not sure what the spread was that was on it but it was ok. I'm not used to it, but tasted good No hate, just honesty.. We sadly will not be returning -

I chose the Marshal as well as a slice of the Heat of the Week. Because....why not. And by the way, the Marshall is not shown. My belly would not allow me to reach for my camera after first visualization. The pizza was heaven at first bite. Perfect undercarriage while fresh ingredients cooked to perfection on top. Then......the Marshal. Ooooohhhhhh the Marshal. Their version of a hot Italian beef. And what a phenomenal version at that. Wonderful spice and the right about of heat. Tender juicy beef. No regrets. Our guests came in from Vinings and Brookhaven and were blown away by the quality of the food and the ambiance. The entrées were just as impressive. Our table had ribeyes, filets, pork chops, and scallops, and every plate was cooked perfectly. The sides were standouts too, especially the roasted carrots and the homemade gnocchi -- absolutely phenomenal. I've lived in Cumming since 2021 but never thought there would be a steakhouse there like this one! We were able to get a table for the 8 of us on the morning of, and was very excited since it was only a 7 mile drive from Windermere. Parking is a breeze, it's on the side of a strip mall on the corner of Meadow and Atlanta Hwy. It's beautiful inside. Lights were dimmed but not so much you can't see the menu or your fellow diners. Christopher was our server and he was really helpful, thorough, pleasant and absolutely friendly. My brother basically took stock of the menu and I ordered a cocktail to start. A big bottle of wine, and we were off! First off, the rolls made in house were so spectacular that I almost asked for more, even though I knew we were in for a great meal. Sea salt on top, hefty without being dense, with or without butter just delightful. Apps: both the GA and the Wedge salad to share, along with the grilled octopus and mussels. My nieces are 7 and 13, my nephew is 11 and they basically ate every last bit of the mussels. Back when I was 11 all I wanted was pizza and burgers. All of the apps were so flavorful- the mussel broth had garlic and nduja which gave it a nice kick. My regret was that I didn't take pics of these. Apologies! Entrees: most of the table got steak, whether it was filet, the American Wagyu, the ribeye. My brother ordered the chicken, I ordered the lobster bucatini and two scallops on the side. My niece had the gnocchi side as her entree. Sides: gnocchi with shittaki mushrooms, duck fat fried potatoes, grits, and asparagus. The gnocchi is a MUST, but the grits and others were close behind. For dessert: chocolate soufflé, bread pudding made in house with ice cream, a cappuccino creme brûlée, and for their birthdays a small individual passion fruit panna cotta for my parents. What a beautiful touch. I would put this place in with all the known steakhouses, service was unmatched, food was excellent and we didn't have to drive 35 miles to Buckhead or Midtown. Hats off to the team here, from the hostess who checked in on us, our server Christopher, to the team in the kitchen. I walked by the bar to use the restroom and it had no empty seats. This would be a place I'd feel comfortable coming alone to treat myself. Support small businesses!

Shelby was our waitress, she was awesome from start to finish. It was late in the evening, 8:30 and was very slow and very empty. In the room next to ours was a mom, her friend and her very cute baby. Ordered toasted raviolis which were fantastic. I spotted the manager, Ryan, went over to him and notified him that the boyfriend's birthday was coming up... can we do an ice cream for him? He said get me his drivers license. I said never mind, we wanted to surprise him. Not a big deal. Just was put off at his attitude and that he wanted to card and id someone for a few dollar bowl of ice cream. Not very good people skills. Meals were ordered, food delivered. Shelby was right on top of the drinks, salad, bread... At one point our waitress stepped into the next room was held the baby so mom could get a bite to eat. I recall this happening when my daughter young, was always welcoming so we could get a few quick bites down. We witnessed Ryan very rudely telling Shelby to put the baby down, 'if you drop the kid we will get sued' and 'you have customers to take care of'. Folks, we were perfectly fine eating our main course at that time and did not need anything. I did not know my daughter talked to the female manager/hostess about the birthdays. At the end of the Shelby brought out ice cream, one with a candle. Was very sweet. When the bill came Shelby asked for the drivers license to apply the 'discount'.....we saw a ruckus by the ordering computer with you know who....Ryan....she came over and very apologetically stated that she was so sorry but she could not comp the ice cream and that she was told we would, have to come back later in the week on the actual birthday. I can promise one thing for sure, I will NOT be going back to this Provinos as long as Ryan is a manager. We have been a customer since 2005. Ryan is rude, condescending, undermined the manager/hostess, and absolutely cheap. It's not about a couple bucks of ice cream....we spent over $150 on the meals, it's bout how NOT to handle a customer, and certainly not to deal, with your employees in front of customers.
