I went to a place with pancake in their title and didn't order the pancakes. We really enjoyed our 2 Mexican breakfast dishes. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my partner had the Chilaquiles. Service was wonderful in this small and tidy breakfast and lunch joint. I had a couple of niggles about my meal but over all both of us were very happy. I'm really happy to have a place like this in the area and can't wait to try the pancakes. read more

Vene's is a nice neighborhood breakfast joint. It's relatively small but the day we were there just about everyone was able to be seated immediately, including ut with four adults and two children. I can well imagine that there could be a wait on a busy day though. Keep that in mind. The kids enjoyed their pancakes -- which were bigger than their stomaches I had the California eggs Benedict -- the inclusion of avocado was a nice enhancement to a fairly standard eggs Benedict. the eggs were perfectly poached. For my taste the hollandaise could have been a bit more tangy. The portion size was more than ample, especially with the mound of potatoes on the side. The other adults report that their food was tasty and well prepared as well. I don't get to Sheboygan very often, but the next time I'm here I'd eat at Vene's again. read more

Very disappointed. We went yesterday and got a table , Got our drinks but that service was very slow, The table behind us got served before we did even though they came in after us, Three of us ordered pancakes because this is a pancake house they should be good , they were so dry even adding syrup didn't help,they crumbled apart, I added butter and syrup at home but still not great. We were looking for a good breakfast in Sheboygan and came accross this place online. It wad almost 9am in a Friday and the place was full. It is a small dining room. We only waited 5 minutes before being seated. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the Mexican chorizo breakfast burrito. This is a large spinach tortilla stuffed with chorizo, onions, peppers, Jack cheese, and topped with salsa, avocado, and sour cream. The breakfast included hashbrowns. The burrito was massive. I thought about getting a container, but it was too good. So I crammed the last bite in my mouth and began planning my return trip for lunch one day. read more

This is the best hidden breakfast gem in Sheboygan. There is limited seating inside but it is worth the wait if you end up having to. They change up their specials often! The food is spectacular and authentic. We come here every time we are in town and have never had a subpar meal!!! read more

Vene's is tucked within a quaint neighborhood, in a literal house (namesake). The dining area is the front room of the house, with maybe 12 tables. They were taking quite a bit of to go orders, which I imagine may be easier than chancing it with a table on a Saturday morning. We don't have to wait, we seated ourselves, and had amazing service. It's an inviting space and they really take advantage of every inch of that front room. We ordered the Southwest omelette with a side of New York cheesecake stuffed pancakes with strawberries on top, and a fresh eggs meal with two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and added in bacon as a side. Everything was so amazing that both of our plates were fully clean by the end. They did a fantastic job with our requests, husband wanted crispy has browns and I wanted crispy bacon. This new pancake house is a find. My brothers had the chocolate pancakes. They enjoyed them immensely. I had a steak omelette which was delicious. My husband had a gyro that he said was also very tasty. Everything is made fresh from scratch. The service was great. Our server, the owner and his wife all came to talk to us about the restaurant. I visited this wonderful, quaint restaurant today and ordered the chocolate pancakes. Yummy!!! The others in our group loved their food selections as well. While this restaurant is new, the owner has 20 years of experience and he came to our table to visit after our meal. The big takeaway is that the food is fresh and prepared just prior to it being served. In other words, the steak in the steak omelet was cooked after being ordered, not early in the morning and cut up for future orders. The service was also spectacular and the server was very friendly. The only down ding forc.e was hiw difficult it was to get coffee, the place is very clean, it is a smaller place so it feels a bit closed, but very nice and the food and coffee were excellent. My daughter lives in Sheboygan and we stopped to visit her, we wanted to try something different and luckily she had heard of the new restaurant, We found a nice little place. She had the Egg's Benedict, my son had peanut butter pancakes and I had Biscuits and Gravy. We sampled each other meals and all were excellent. My Biscuits and Gravy were the best I'd ever had. Had a taste I'd never experienced before. Being one of my favorite selections when we do breakfast I was quite pleased, I told the waitress how much I liked the food, The cook/owner came out and talked to us when she told him my comment. He explained that everything is from scratch and with no off the shelf boxed items. He was the cook at another well known local restaurant for 19 years and had other experience cooking. He found this building and decided to open his own place. Lucky for us. The pancakes were big and fluffy. He explained it was the ingredients he uses. He said he will throw out pancakes not to his standard before serving. The sauces and gravy the same have to meet his standard. overall the food was excellent at a fair price.
