I looked online for a while, and then suggested that we just go and wander around Valley Fair for a while before picking her sister up. I happened to park at Monroe St, and we took the elevator up, the escalator down, and TADA! We were magically standing right in front of this place! We had the most delightfully incredible time making little lands together. She's sweetly said that she wanted to make Mal from The Descendants, and the staff helped her with this. I had a painting which needed a good frame to match with the paint and all the other things I have at home. There were plenty of choices there but it wasn't easy to pick "the one" that would do it. Jeff, patiently showed me different things and gave me suggestions. He knew at once what will really work best for the picture. I did trust on his judgment and his impeccable work done carefully and right on the promised time. The result was even better than I expected. I am very happy with the result and the whole experience of it. I returned, and once again I was very pleased with his work. This time I had a simple poster that I wanted to mount without a frame. It needed to match other paintings nearby. Jeff suggested that we mount the poster on masonite. It worked great! One can tell that he not only knows very well what he is doing but also that he has a sense of quick understanding of the needs of the client. Parking was easy in a nearby lot and the store itself is charming with a variety of craft supplies including quilting fabric, needlepoint, watercolor kits, washi tape, and even finished handmade goods available for sale. When I walked in, initially I did not see anyone at the register/desk, so I browsed up front. Eventually, I spotted an employee at the register but they didn't greet me or acknowledge me which was definitely off-putting. Customer service is everything. The fabric selection was nice though I found the online selection more enticing. Everything was of very high quality. I ended up leaving with just a roll of washi tape. Overall, cute store and worth checking out for the variety, but I wish the welcome had matched the charm of the space.

She answered a lot of my questions and encouraged me to play with the pinball machine. She explained that these miniature scenes are like model kits that are ideal for people seeking a mindful activity to reduce stress and enjoy some quiet time. Perfect for solo crafting or a fun DIY project. Each scene is so detailed and intricate. And there are so many different ones to pick from. It was mesmerizing. I really enjoyed this unique store and also purchased a DIY project for myself for $19.99. I look forward to starting my puzzle.
