I had a lot of trouble finding a nice pinkie ring in rose gold that suited my taste, but also would fit my very small fingers. Michael sat down with me and helped pick a design, and sourced matching diamonds and sapphires for the settings. The result is beautiful, and I am very pleased with the results. They just don't make rings like what I wanted, so you have to get custom! Michael has good customer service, remembers his customers, and is pleasant to deal with. He was also able to fix a ring sizing on vintage ruby ring, and resized a figaro chain necklace. Very nice work on all of the above. My situation was unique. I was selling a single diamond earring on Craigslist and the guy was questioning if the diamond was real and if it was a good deal. We were in Campbell, so I said let's give this business a try and see if he will help. The jeweler did not have to help me at all as I wasn't making a purchase, but he did so gladly. He confirmed the diamond was real and actually offered me $25 more for it. I knew it was a really good price as the diamond would go for more than twice as much at retail. At one of the gold exchange places they offered me $30 for it and Chique offered me $125! I did end up selling it to the guy from Craigslist because we had a deal, but I will seek out Chique in the future when I need an honest jeweler. read more

I dropped into this place by chance (after leaving The Jewel Box - 2 doors down - very unhappy about the lack of service). What a delightful discovery! I had seen this store for years when walking around downtown Campbell, but had never dropped in. I went in to purchase a fine, white gold chain for my Movado diamond pendant. The design of the pendant requires the loop to be cut off the chain, then then chain has to be threaded through the pendant, and then the loop soldered back on. The jeweler was very thoughtful and helpful in suggesting something that would work beautifully. His pricing was fair and service is quick. While there, I took the opportunity to wander around and look in the cases. I was so happy to see some really interesting pieces, many vintage and classically beautiful. Lots of beautiful stones and settings. I will definitely be back, and encourage others who want GREAT service, fair prices, and no trendy, mass manufactured jewelry to stop in. read more

Michael is a wonderful man so of course he is one of the kindest, finest jewelers. As someone in another review mentioned, he is patient, he really cares about the finished product and will make you happy GUARANTEED! He just remade a beautiful vintage diamond ring for me. I had run over the stone with my car (!), lost the stone but thank God found it on the floor of my car a few days later and looked down at the beautiful high grade stone a few weeks ago to see that three of the ring's prongs were broken and I might easily have forever lost the stone! Michael counseled me on how we had to start from scratch with a new platinum band and setting. I was so sad to say good-bye to my 1930's Parisian ring but Michael recreated it's delicacy and beauty in a much sturdier new band and setting. He truly is THE BEST!!! read more

BEWARE! Stay Away, unless you want to lose your precious family heirlooms. I left a pair of ruby earrings for repair and 10 days later I discovered this man is a FRAUD. The earrings I picked up were missing the original Ruby Stones. He had actually replaced them with pink plastic crap! As if I wouldn't NOTICE! What an INSULT! He has caused me so much anguish and heartache .....and all because of his greed and dishonesty. I tried to get my rubys back but he said "you cannot prove that I stole them." He obviously knows exactly how to scam vulnerable, trusting people. KARMA will come back to you one day! I only added the star because I had to.....this shop owner deserves zero stars.
