I came to this salon for the first time about an hour and a half before closing, not realizing what time they closed. I only wanted a simple pedicure with gel polish and a plain manicure with no color. I was told the manicure would be 25 dollars and the pedicure would be 35 dollars plus 8 dollars to fix one toenail. My total should have been 68 dollars. When it was time to pay, they told me the total was 88 dollars which did not make sense based on what they originally told me. As it got closer to closing time they also began rushing me in a way that made me uncomfortable even while I was trying to pay. Because they were rushing me I did not have time to do the math and I just paid. Later I realized that it appears they added in a tip without asking. I left feeling overcharged by 20 dollars and not respected as a customer. I cannot help but feel that I was treated unfairly and possibly profiled. To make things worse it has been less than a week and the skin around my nails is already peeling as if I never got a manicure at all. I do not work with my hands and my manicures normally last weeks. This was clearly poor quality work. I was not going to write a review at first but after realizing I will have to get my nails redone so soon after being overcharged and rushed I am truly disappointed. I would not recommend this salon and would actively discourage others from coming here based on my experience. read more

Recently after seeing the dentist next door, I decided to stop in Venezia Nail Salon for a brow wax. Immediately following the wax removal from beneath my left brow, I experienced a sharp pins and needle type pain. The same was true to my right brow , but to a lesser extent. The young lady attending me said that the pain was only temporary. I politely explained that I have had brow waxes before and I thought I had a high tolerance for pain. This,I however, felt different. I still have a noticeable reaction days later. Welts appeared and then what looks to be a scab beneath both brows. I came on a Saturday with an appointment time but unfortunately they were running behind and it took a little while before my pedicure started. However, the owner quickly sat me down into a pedicure chair so at least I was sitting comfortably and getting that chair massage while I waited. That was very nice and professional of him. I got a lavender spa pedicure which was a reasonable price given how many layers of products was applied and the length of the massage,I only wish that my nail tech had applied more pressure with the massage. My toes looked fabulous afterwards too, he did an excellent job painting! Two reasons for taking a star off - my nail tech cut me a little bit during the cuticle removing process, and I was allergic to something at the salon, because my eyes and nose started watering as soon I sat down and got better once I got back into my car... I have mixed feelings. I used class pass to book a deluxe mani and pedi. I had a lot of challenges with them understanding my method of payment/booking. She had also mentioned I would have to pay more than what I booked it for because "the prices went up" *Note*: My booking was only 2 days prior to my visit. Now on to the services aspect. My nail tech was pleasant and did a great job on my pedicure. They promptly offered a beverage upon being seated. The manicure was more of a challenge and rushed. I had to continue stretching my arm across the pedicure chair so she didn't have to go around. It was uncomfortable. Unfortunately, not even a day later my paint is chipping. This is a beautiful, clean place. The female manager at the front desk is very professional, polite, and accommodating. I had a Brazilian wax, shellac pedicure, and dipping powder manicure. The excuse was 'we've raised our prices like everyone else'. Hey, great, how about telling your customers. This place is not elite, clean, or good enough to charge this kind of price. Unfortunately, it looked weird and thick like I had blobs on my fingers. The manicurist at this place told me that she could make it look more natural. I had to wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to their nails are moved after I was already there, three of my fingers were bleeding, I was up charged for asking for my cuticles cut, and it took at least 2 hours for a full set when three people that had been there after me had left. The best pedicure I have ever had! I went in with my sister last night and we both chose the lavender pedicure, and both agree - it was incredible! The women who were providing our services were both so kind and paid attention to every detail. The spa is beautifully set up and is a clean, calming environment. My phone case got ruined because they got acetone all over it. I talked to the manager about it and he did nothing about it. They had implemented measures to ensure staff and customer safety: masks required, Purell hands upon entering, and clear plastic dividers between staff and customer. My second time here was last Saturday. I called foe appointment time but they said just to walk in. I went for a mani pedi combo and I asked for the Hawaiian combo and asked if price was $65 and the man said yes. Now he did try and push me to get shellac polish for $25 extra and I said no thank you. After I was done he told me that polish was not going to last long. But I didn't realize he meant only one day. Right after I washed my hair the next morning my nail polish had already chipped off. I've used dollar tree nail polish that lasted longer. When I paid the actual cost was $80 not the brochure price that was advertised. So I will find a different location to get pampered next time. One other thing that bothered me was my nail tech and another man was obviously making fun of another customer. I didn't understand their language but I understood the pointing and snickering. I told my tech that he and his friend wasn't being very nice and I could tell they were poking fun at her expense. He got quite and then told me later that he didn't understand what I was telling him. I think that was BS but whatever. read more

This was by far the best place I've ever been for a pedicure. Amy was the one who gave me my pedicure. I chose a pedicure called champagne rose and it included all of this: salt scrub massage, lotion massage, paraffin wax, hot stone massage and mud mask with hot towels all for $50. I had no idea what I was getting in that package, I just saw paraffin wax and said sign me up! Just when I thought she was done, she went back for more. Her massage was incredible. They even give you a scented weighted neck pillow. I loved the smell. If I drank, I would be drinking their complimentary booze.
