I had heard a lot about this place from some coworkers and decided to go check it out on a Saturday evening. Even though the menu is in Spanish the workers there spoke English and were helping me pick out something good to eat. I opted for the pork areapas as well as the tequenos. The areapas were delicious, but different than I expected. They were little fried dough pucks--smaller and more crunchy than the Colombian versions that I had before. The truck itself seems to be tucked into a random location between a Discount Tire and Holliday Inn but, as I waited for my order, I saw car after car come by and pick up their food. It seems to be a hit with the local community and I can definitely see why!

I had never had Venezuelan food until tonight. The manlager of the truck was extremely nice and helpful in explaining this type of food to me. I ordered the Arepas which had pulled pork, fried cheese, and a corn bun with a delicious avocado Crema. He sent me off with complementary cheese sticks, and a cola, since I was new to this region of food. The breadsticks were absolutely delicious, and the cola had a very light fruity flavor to it, which complemented my meal. I really enjoyed my meal and will be returning to this food truck.

(At least imo , I haven't bought Venezuelan food in a couple years ) It's priced a bit high but not crazy expensive either .

It's just off Allisonville and 96th, with plenty of parking. We could tell right away that there was only one staff member working the register and the grill and the tables (apparently other staff had called off), so we knew there might be a little wait. He kept apologizing, but honestly it did not take that long to get our food. And the food is such a #yum! (Because of a Yelp item, I had a free Pabellon Arepa - it had a really good size portion of shredded beef, beans, cheese, and, my favorite, sweet plantains.) But outside of that, my husband was with me and we ordered more food: The Don Luis bowl (chicken fajita with rice & beans), and a side of fried yuca. We also got a side of tequenos - the delicious little fried cheese sticks wrapped in a thicker dough. Everything was tasty, and we have enough leftovers that I have lunch the next two days! #yum #ReviewsByRL

The Arepas are made to order and are stuffed with meat and cheese. Honestly a great value considering how much food they stuff in there. Tried out the passion fruit juice as well and I loved it, couldn't keep my kids from drinking all of it. Definitely recommend and I'll be bringing friends to try it out as well!

She's sometimes a picky eater, but she dug in to the two plates that we ordered and went back for seconds and thirds. The menu is complex (to me) with the mix of South and Central American bowls, sandwiches and burritos. We ordered two bowls to share (the bows are enormous)! The Venezuelan Chicken Bowl is a favorite of ours with the fried plantains. The chicken is tender with a ton of flavor, and not overly spicy. You just can't find these flavors anywhere else. The Mexican Bowl was also delicious with the fresh pico and avocado. The kidney beans taste amazingly fresh. The beef is delicious. We took home plenty of leftovers. The service is friendly and food comes out hot and quickly. The small dining room is upscale fast food and there is a patio with tables. I highly recommend a visit. I'm hooked!

My first visit on December 2020 and second visit in June 2021. This was my first try for Venezuelan food. I ordered the Peruvian Arepas (grilled shrimp, avocado and pink sauce). It was so delicious and flavorful that I ordered the same thing on my second visit. LOL! Additionally, I also ordered plantains with cheese and plain plantains. It was ok. It wasn't sweet like I had expected. It was a little dry as well. I still ate them. Upon my second visit, I ate my food outside as the day was warm, sunny and perfect! Overall I had a great experience. The employees were nice and friendly.

Each taco was full of flavor but they each differed. My favorite is the al pastor just because they really nail the spicy sweetness. It's a beautiful balance of flavors. The bistec has a really meaty/savory taste and I think best fills the craving for a taco. The texture is also very nice. The tinga was quite tomato-y but was still very good. I also had the salvadorian horchata which is very refreshing and not overly sweet -- also vegan because they make it with water instead of milk. I've tried many things over the years and never had a bad experience. They're my fav tacos in the city and I love ordering from them at the the local farmers markets, too. Definitely recommend!

I had the tostones, a vegan bean and cheese arepa, and the chicken and sweet corn tamal. Everything was flavorful, hot and fresh! The salsa verde added a nice zing to everything. My husband had the beef empanadas as well as queso with steak, and it was so filling that he couldn't eat it all in one sitting. My only complaint is that we got the food delivered via DoorDash, and we received our food almost 45 minutes later than the initial predicted time. That may be a Doordash issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, I love that their menu has options for everyone, and it introduced me to Salvadoran food.
