My best friend and I decided to take a last minute trip to Venice. We originally had booked through one of there sister properties but were moved to Venice Breeze Suites due to construction. We were so glad we had the pleasure of meeting Danielle. She held on to our luggage until check-in, guided us with all of our needs and was extremely accommodating. Getting to chitchat with her throughout the day was the highlight of our stay, that we decided to extend our trip one more day. This was pretty uncoordinated. When we arrived the office was closed and we almost left when the employee arrived. We were supposed to have sent them the time of our arrival. We never could get the TV to work, the employee said she didn't have a TV like that and couldn't help me. We never mastered the heat control. The second night there was severe noise through the ceiling from the room above ours. Expect to pay at least $20 (2026) to park your car overnight. There was a coffee machine and coffee for it, but there was no way to open the packets. Later I discovered that all the silverware, glasses, and dishes were in the dishwasher. I did not expect a dishwasher so it didn't occur to me to look in it. I just thought there was jone. The place was clean. read more

I Didn't think about all the loud music from speakers that would be blasting till 8-9ish pm, so not hotels fault. Location can't be beat. In the heart of Venice. Room was clean but bathroom looked pretty bad. Dated and shower head was a handle that wouldn't stay up and holder was at about 3ft high. Impossible to shower unless you're holding it. Paper thin walls because you can hear EVERY single thing going on in other rooms and right outside your door. Does have a roof top with great views. Parking not included but they can get it for you for $20/day, which was a deal. Place across the street wanted to charge me $55 ($25 for the day and $30 overnight fee). I'd probably try another place next time in Venice but location was perfect. 3 nights for $965 plus $60 for parking. So $1,025 for 3 days. read more

We loved our stay here. The suite was well appointed, with a stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker and fridge. Everything you could need! The bedroom had a door to separate it from the main living area so one of us could nap or watch TV while the other worked at the kitchen table. The location is right on the beach- just 10 steps from the sand. Which is great if you love the beach but one thing g I did not think of was how Venice Beach is known for street performers. So...from around 11am to 8pm you could hear their music very clearly. So if you need quiet during the day that could be a problem. The rooftop patio was amazing for morning coffee but there is no shade so we had to retreat inside by 10am as it got too bright/sunny. We did not avail ourselves of this but the staff said that we could borrow beach chairs, beach umbrellas or even boogie boards on a first-come first-serve basis. And one unexpected perk was that we were able to park directly across the alley for a very reasonable cost for both days (and nights) we stayed thanks to a tip from the staff at the front desk. And one last thing we loved- the "rain" style shower head in the super modern and sleek bathroom. read more

I stayed at Venice Breeze Suites during my first-ever trip to LA and the best possible stay I ever could have asked for. My room was both beautiful and remarkably affordable. The rooftop patio has a stunning view of Venice Beach and is open from 9AM-9PM. I was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see, and checked every box on my list of things to do while in town. The true highlight of my time, though, was the kind, beautiful soul named Gilbert who worked the front desk. He went above and beyond to turn my "stay" into a true experience. This was my first time traveling alone in a very long time, and he made me feel safe and cared for during my entire stay. He answered any question that I had, and genuinely cared about my well-being. I will recommend Venice Breeze to every friend and family member that I have, and I WILL be back! read more

It was supposed to be a nice get away but it was not. The city of Venice needs to clean up this area, visitors from around the world come to this side. After reading positive reviews, I chose this hotel and was very disappointed. On the plus side, the room is spacious, quite clean, and has a small kitchen where you can prepare food. But unfortunately, the disadvantages kill all the positive experiences. It's incredibly noisy in the room, music is playing from the street directly into the room and the management explains that Venice beach is a very noisy place, but the fact is that the hotel has simply bad windows that have no sound insulation. The bed linen is uncomfortable, the pillows are like cotton wool, there is no stopper on the doors, so when someone leaves their room at 6 in the morning and slams the door very loudly, you automatically wake up. An absolutely unacceptable experience for $350 per day. I don't recommend it read more

This hotel is a good value for the cost per night. The room we stayed in had a nice view of the ocean, even though we only booked a "partial view" room. The room was set up like a studio apartment and was very spacious. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a basic meal. Modern and clean rooms. The rooftop patio had amazing views of the beach and boardwalk. The location is right off the boardwalk which makes it super convenient to walk down to the beach and boardwalk shops. If you've been to Venice Beach before then you already know that the boardwalk can get pretty loud at night, and with this being an old hotel, you should expect to hear some of it in your room. read more

This is absolutely the worst hotel ever! This is the hotel from hell. First I just want to say, it's way over priced and their website holds a high standard for their suits when they are completely trash, homeless is having rap battles, yelling, arguing and screaming the entire night! TVs are broken. The front desk guy says that they know all this shit happens and they never tell guest this prior to booking about it's surroundings. It's very cold on the 4th floor, we asked for blankets and they gave us sheets. I have never stayed anywhere more equivalent to hell than Venice beach breeze suits! Do not come here, they still $700 from us and we will not be getting reimbursed, and we definitely had to find another with in the same night in our honey moon read more

VERY VERY expensive for what it is. A LOT. The staff is AMAZING but admittedly we went having NO IDEA what the "situation" on the Boardwalk was/is. The boardwalk is BUSY A.F. with LOUD passers-by until 10pm'ish. Everybody has their own boombox blasting as they bike by, roller-skate by, or just camp out on the benches for hours at a stretch. We had a very sketchy crew there first night selling and smoking pot and yelling at the tops of their lungs because their boombox was on eleven the whole time. The random party people going by screaming to each other continued through 2am. The next morning was peaceful until about 10am when the boardwalk started getting busy again. So.....it's like Spring Break mayhem, not even remotely chill. Rooftop was nice, bed and pillows hard as a rock, elevator old and small but the stairs wide and WAY easier to navigate with luggage. We saw MANY groups of four packed into rooms and leaving late to party so that's what this is. City kids splitting a room and coming down to throw down and just have a roof to crash under afterwards. We regularly stay in Kimpton's. Those are three times the quality and half the price. By comparison. Yeah, we did this wrong, big time. read more

The Venice Breeze Suites Hotel was a breath of fresh air at a not so clean location. There is a lot of homeless and activity on the boardwalk, so the vibe isn't for everyone. However, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and loved the decor. Regret not checking out the rooftop lounge because the view looks amazing. I've stayed here a few times and had no issues at all until today. I booked 3 ocean view rooms, before we checked in I called and let the attendant know we would be early. They said no problem my rooms were ready all except for one. I said no problem and made my way from vegas to Venice. I get to the door the front desk attendant looks at me for at least a min if not two before getting up to open the door. When she does she cracks it about an inch and say kinda rudely "yeah how can I help you" I said "I'm checking in" she replies "You too early" I let her know I had called she then say oh yeah ok. And pushes the door open and walks in for me to follow. She allows me to pay two of my rooms then surprises me with a completely NEW GRAND TOTAL $1000 over what I was quoted not even 5hours prior. She charges my card three times to then say "WELL IF YOU DONT LIKE UT SWEETIE OR HAVE A PROBLEM I CAN JUST CANCEL THESE RESERVATIONS AND YOUR MONEY WILL BE BACK IN 5 to 7 BUSINESS DAYS *with a slight eye roll. Now I'm annoyed and pissed not only is she rude but she's disrespectful and that's not ok. Then when I tell her that my name is Brayzill or Mr. Stevenson she gets pissed even more and then says in the midst of my questions about the new 1000 bucks I just spent now extremely low on money she threatens to call the police on me A BLACK MAN for asking questions about the new total SINCE I DIDNT AGREE. To threaten to call the police on a black man in 2021 over questions he's asking NOT BEING RUDE OR DISRESPECTFUL BUT LITERALLY CAUGHT OFF GUARD is a death threat to me AND ANY OTHER PERSON OF COLOR ASK AROUND. I'm so hurt I really enjoyed this hotel but now to be fair I don't even feel safe and it isn't because of the homeless outside it's because if I simply ask questions about my money in the hotel they threaten to call the police on me. Let me start by saying, it is way over priced, absolutely NO parking and you can't even unload in front of the hotel they want you to park and walk three blocks for $ 20 dollars! Next door the parking attendant threatened my husband when we arrived to just try to check in and unload! They allow pets but at a non refundable $150 dollars per animal and they will not let you leave them in the room alone at all or you will be fined!! We did not feel safe there at all either! Not only because of the aggressive parking attendant staff but homeless everywhere and not the friendly ones, the crazy ones! Drugs everywhere! Our vehicle would have been vandalized no doubt. We didn't even make it to the room; we decided to not stay! We had a really bad feeling and for $800 dollars for one night- Absolutely NOT! Stay clear of this place!!! read more

If I could give a negative number of stars, I would. This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever been in. I read a few good reviews and one bad review about how terrifying this hotel is and I ignored it. Should have heeded her warning. I had been driving for 8 hours straight by the time I got there. I just wanted to sleep. First of all, there is NOWHERE to park. Second, the hotel has the creepiest vibe. It's more like a scary hostel. The elevator door is a self opening door, but not like the cool downtown ones. The door slams shut if you let it go and will slam shut on your finger. Once I got to the room, it was absolutely DISGUSTING. It was visibly dirty, there was dirt in the shower, previous hair on the floor and the sink backs up after seconds of it being on. If all this wasn't enough, it is SO loud, it's IMPOSSIBLE to relax. The worst part is how scary it is though. I really should have paid more attention to the other review. I left immediately, drove another hour and found a clean and safe hotel. When I let them know, all they said was that they don't give refunds 3 days prior to the stay. There was no apology of any kind. Oh. And for all this, I paid over $450. Absolutely worthless. NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Especially if you're alone. read more

I was skeptical about staying at a hotel due to Covid19 but saw the signs and the staff making sure all guidelines were being followed. Abby was super nice and had loads of information on the area and what to do even with many things closed. Ask her about some cool historic things in the area she has a lot of knowledge with the history which I found so cool and made the stay that much better. Room was great will be back again. read more
