I came to this salon for the first time and my experience wasn't the best. The service wasn't too bad, however my nails turned out horrible from this one lady. I've barley had them on for 2 weeks and within the first 3 days my nails chipped & the shiny coating on top peeled off on several of the nails. In all my years of getting nails, this never happens to me. However, I think it depends who you get, because my friend had a guy do hers and hers are still looking near perfect. Just be aware! The guy who did my pedicure had an attitude that didn't make me feel comfortable. I said I wanted a basic pedicure and he tried to convince to get a better pedicure one that had orange flavored stuff but when I mentioned I was allergic to oranges his response was "well it's only a few dollars more and it's rubbed on your skin then washed off" and I said it didn't matter I'm still allergic..fast forward he finishes my pedicure and then puts my shoes on which then scuffs up one of the toes and when I mention it he applies paint then tells me I can go immediately after. I was confused because he should have directed to me to a place to let it dry I still had wet paint on my toes so I say I'm going to stay and let it dry I wait another 15 minutes and without checking he tells me I can go it's dry. I get out of the poorly lit salon and notice this pedicure looks kind of bad it's scuffed a little, you can see multiple coats on certain toes, just not the best pedicure I have received. Some of the best I've ever gotten! I took my boyfriend to get a pedicure and me a manicure. It was his first time, but his feet looked horrendous. They did an amazing job, and let me sit on the pedicure chair next to him while I got a manicure. For my manicure and his pedicure, it was only $35. This is hands down the best nail salon in all of lubbock. And the staff is so friendly and kind. Had left a bottle of my nail polish there for a pedicure and two months later when I came back to get a regular fill (assuming it was a goner) a lady remembered me, went to the back and grabbed it and made sure I left with it. I had given up hope on it but the fact she remembered me and made sure I got it shows the character and kindness of the people that work there. I love this place! read more

I started coming here when it first opened and loved it. Now it is slowly going down in my view. Except for the owners, the staff turn over is terrible I have never been able to have the same person twice. The last time one person started one my pedicure but someone came in who she apparently knew and she left me and started on them so I sat there until another person could get free. They have also raised their price. So am now looking for another salon. read more

My wife and I visited this Spa for our second time yesterday 3/24/18. After our first trip here in January we wanted to try out a few of the other Spas in the area before we settled on one specific one to always go to. Well Venice is amazing to say the least. Their prices are a great value and the staff are always amazing and nice. I have had a younger woman do my pedicure both time and she is attentive to what I want and she does amazing at giving my feet and legs a great massage. My wife has had two different people both times for her pedicure and manicure but they have done amazing work both times. We highly recommend this Spa if your looking for quality work at an amazing price with a staff that makes you feel as if you are the only customer in the room then come here! read more

I'm here now getting the best $35 pedicure in Lubbock. They give you the longest leg and foot massage I've ever had! Close 15-20 minutes of just massage. It also includes the paraffin wax and steamed towels. They also removed my ingrown toenails and spent a long time on cuticles and nail shaping. Amazing! I will definitely be back! read more

Excepted a high quality service here, as it is rated #1 on Yelp for nail salons in Lubbock. I went in and got a deluxe spa pedicure and a dip powder manicure. The pedicure was amazing, wonderful massage and great attention to detail. The manicure turned out rough. I left with three places where I was bleeding. Two of which were small and insignificant. The third cut was awful and bled for several minutes. She kept apologizing, which was fine. However, I go to checkout, expecting that I would get some sort of discount for the inconvenience and the fact that I was bleeding several times. Nope. I left with glue stuck to my fingers, powder still on my hands, and bleeding fingers. Definitely not worth $70, I'm very disappointed. read more

My sister & I decided to try Venice based on the good reviews on Yelp. They were not very busy so there was no reason to rush - it was a week day morning. However, the lady doing my sister's pedicure cut her toe not once but twice! She kept apologizing and I know it happens sometimes but TWICE? We picked out our color for our pedicure and told them we wanted it to be sparkly. The guy who was helping us said they would put on a sparkly layer. When we got outside in the sun we realized that there was not a sparkly layer on our toes. Yes, we could have gone back in to have it done the way we requested but did not want to prolong the torture. The show playing on the IFC channel on the tv screen we were facing was extremely inappropriate. There was a child in the salon with another client and we could not believe that a business had that playing with clients there. And yes, we could have requested a channel change but why should we have to? We will not return. read more

This place is horribly unprofessional. I was passed around to multiple techs, two of whom answered their personal phones while working on my nails. No one but one girl speaks even passable English. The woman who painted my toenails did a horrendous job; globs of polish in the corners of my nails and on the skin, missing spots, and she couldn't understand when I tried to politely ask her to fix them. Bubbles in the shellac on my fingernails and polish left on the skin. I tried to ask for my money back (again, very calmly and politely) and was basically assaulted by two of the techs grabbing at my hands and feet, trying to take pictures, etc. and they would not back off until the one who spoke English asked them to. I was told I had to come back in 2 days to have my card reimbursed. When I did, they would only give me back $25 out of the $65 I paid and would not budge. Terrible, terrible service, will NOT be going back. read more
