Treviso Grand - The gross new maintaince person who gets to throw trash outside and everyone has bugs in their homes

Anytime I had an issue that needed to be taken care of, she was and cold and twice she failed to have a maintenance guy come to my apartment. She set up my time for move out, and when I came in with my keys, she told me that I would have to wait another day. When I asked her how long it would take to get my deposit back, me that IF I get my deposit back, it can take at least 30 days. She was snotty and disgusting. As far as the apartment goes, there was a roach issue. I also found fleas in my apartment, and when I contacted the office to let them know that the carpets needed to be cleaned, they completely I had to hire a professional carpet cleaning company. They either were from the previous tenants or From out in the grass. Constantly, the lawn service was neglected, most of the time the grasp being dry and crusty as they were not watering. I cannot count how many times the pool was shut down and we were not allowed to use it for days if not weeks on end.

Well add all that to the pile of lies this management tells people to get them to sign. I'm paying $60 for nail holes I could have just done myself and $270 for a new carpet. Renter beware! I was there one year and this was consistently my experience: The pet area was hardly ever manicured, so it gets infested with flees easily (they'll blame the dogs digging). The gates malfunction basically weekly so you're either trapped in/out or they're just left open. Same with the pedestrian gates. The water feature in the lake stopped working for months (was still broken when I left) so the water just sat there rotting and started to smell. People stopped picking up after their dogs in several areas and nothing was done about it. This past summer the pool was open regardless of several health and safety violations, so the FD showed up midday to shut it down (suspiciously opened like a day later). The amount of bugs I had in my apartment on the THIRD floor was puzzling. Forget 24 hours notice for entering your apartment, several (at least 3 I know of) tenants experienced maintenance men using their key and just walking into their homes while they were home! I was completely disappointed in every aspect of this apartment complex, and they couldn't even separate gracefully. I don't love being 'that person' to leave a negative review, but after I received my bill today (10/27/25) less than one month from move out from COLLECTIONS no less (they didn't even send an original to me?? I have perfect credit?? In this economy?! Plz.) I genuinely feel the need to protect people from this place. There are WAY better less expensive places than this establishment. Absolutely disappointed and happy to be out of there!

During my residency, the property changed ownership multiple times, which resulted in ongoing confusion and inconsistency in management. I experienced repeated issues with communication and administrative handling, including payment discrepancies that were never clearly resolved. Several other residents I spoke with reported similar concerns. The condition of the property was also disappointing. Common areas were not consistently maintained, pet waste was frequently left around the grounds, and I personally witnessed multiple incidents involving aggressive dogs. In addition, amenities such as the pool were unavailable for extended periods during the summer, and malfunctioning sprinklers appeared to run continuously for long stretches of time. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect was the lack of responsiveness from management and corporate representatives. Obtaining answers or escalation contacts beyond the local office proved extremely difficult, leaving many concerns unresolved. My overall experience was characterized by poor communication, inconsistent management, and maintenance issues that significantly affected my quality of life as a resident. Based on my experience, I would not choose to live here again

We have three different forms of proof, including a charge from the company. They say they did not charge that, but the bank statement says otherwise. They cannot find our money. So now, my roommate and I out $2,195. When we first moved in, the people working there were very nice and helpful. But now, things have changed when it's time for us to get our deposit back. We have been back and forth with the on site leasing office, as well as trying to get ahold of corporate for about 3 months now. This whole process has been and still is very difficult. With that being said, I would strongly advise against this residence as a place to live. Still as of right now, July 1st, they are in possession of our money and refuse to return it. Mind you we moved out April 30th. This has been our experience at Venice Isles Luxury Apartments.

The gate has not been working for years and every time they say it's a part on back order which is not true because many people have spoken to the gate company and they say that it's just turned off. The pool was redone because there was a leak but the leak was on the outside of the pool and then they were mad that they spent so much money to have the pool "fixed" and blamed it on the residents for complaints about dirty water issues, and then they increased the water bill to $100 plus a month when it used to be a set amount at $45. All of their other SRA properties are a set amount of $45. The pool is still sub par to this day. It's been shut down many times for feces. Mike Stockton is a very rude person and a crook. He does not care one bit about the residents and the owner is being blindsided. The grounds are full of cigarette smoke, cigarette butts, dog feces, garbage, weeds, cracked floors. One maintenance person for all of the properties, which is impossible for one person to handle. They always say they're going to fix these things just to tide you over but it never gets done. It's embarrassing when you have family or friends over. The people that they are letting in now are druggies and evictees from other properties.

Unfortunately, since Mr. Stockton with SRA Management took over, everything has changed. The apartment community is advertised as "gated and smoke free". Not so now, the fence has been broken for some time and smoking is evident throughout. The buildings designated as "no pets allowed", now have dogs. Speaking of dogs, the once beautifully maintained pool now has dog feces in it frequently. The laundry area is filthy, with broken and rusty washer and dryer. The flower beds are overgrown with weeds. The common walkways and under the stairs are cluttered with personal items, presenting a fire hazard. To top it off, there is a bug infestation.
