Local pizza spot that delivers. The staff I've interacted with have all been friendly. The web site is a bit dated and if you want to do custom pizza's it is not the best. A lot of the coupons they have don't work at check out so you may want to call and place your order if you want to use coupons. Pizza itself is good. Its solid pizza with a medium amount of toppings. We did get a gluten free pizza that was vegan and I was a little disappointed in the lack of toppings for the cost. I never realized how much the cheese hides. One nice thing is that its not greasy like some of the chain pizza places. Crust is solid and sauce is flavorful. read more

Went to this spot for National Pizza day. I expected it to be busy. The only discrepancy was the online system and an automated email both said 20 minutes. It took almost an hour, however these guys did a really great job of calling me and giving me a more realistic time fairly soon after I placed my order. I suggest calling ahead to make sure that you have time to wait, as needed. When I arrived for take out, it was literally a man and two young men running the entire shop. Food was bomb, Spaghetti and Alfredo was worth every penny. I was so unprepared for the rudeness of the greeter at the front counter, caught me by surprise. Long hair, blondish brown, caucasian. This guy gave me the most unfriendly look when I walked in and I asked for my uber order. He didn't acknowledge me so I just by stood there by the door and waited till he did. I said my name and he gave me another pissed off look. I am generally pretty loud so when he didn't hear me say my name the first time, I yelled even louder and then proceeded to spell it. Yet again he gave me a dirty look, shook his head and then turned to say to his partners "I dunno, Katie or Jamie or something". Then the guy in the back came up, asked my name, and off I went with my order. Update: I've continued ordering from Venice since my last reviews. For the most part the orders are more timely now (45min to an hour which, for them, is good). The orders have been correct and no issues to speak of. They are completely hit and miss when you ask them to bring you anything such as utensils or napkins. But, this is a minor gripe. I'd still rather order from Venice than a pizza chain any day of the week. Thanks guys! read more

My first and last visit to Venice Pizza. The flavor was a little bland but good. My problem is mostly with what a skinny pizza you get for what you pay for. It's this way at most places these days. Kinda like the 1oz candy bar. I ordered an x-large meat pizza and I got this skinny, skimpy pizza with thin crust and very few toppings on it. Really disappointing with what you get here. If you like lean, skimpy pizzas that you can eat in one sitting then definitely order here. Otherwise, you're going to want to take your business elsewhere! read more

Wanted to try this place out so we ordered online. Went to go pick it up on Sunday evening and no one was wearing a mask. Only one person in the back cooking - no mask on at all. My food wasn't ready so I went back to the car and waited and while I waited, a delivery guy came in, again no mask on, and was helping someone who came in after me. Was grabbing the customer's food (couple of boxes and working the register) and handed it to him. Didn't see him wash his hands at all when coming in. Then another delivery driver came in - same thing, saw him set his delivery bag down and then started handling food coming out of the oven. No hand washing, no mask on. He touched his hair and pulled it back - no washing or anything. Gave this place a try. It was OK at best. The crust was thin and soft (possibly undercooked?) And the pizza was oily. The spicy tenders was essentially a chicken breast that was breaded and sauces, then cut up so the pieces were not entirely breaded and sauced, if that makes sense. My kids and I love the food at Venice Pizza. The pizza has a thiner crust, which we prefer and a lot of different high quality options for toppings. Our favorite pizzas are the Naples and Spicy Italian. We also really like their pastas and salads. This is a Little pizzeria located below the Phoenix Theater. Mainly a carry out service, but there are tables and chairs to dine inside if you prefer. There are no public restrooms available. This place bakes an 18" pizza pie which is not common on the West coast. The pizza is basic but not bad. I like it but it would be better if the sauce had a little more seasoning. My girl friend's room mate ordered a Large Quatro Formaggio he ate one slice and went to bed, well when we got home I had a bad case of the munchies. I grabbed what I thought was a large slice of pizza (You know like in New York. I also didn't know at the time the pie was $20) little did I realize until I had already fingered it I had 2 slices in my hand then another two. They have a BBQ Chicken Pizza that is just wonderful. Not overly saucy or sweet. It has a nice fine balance of flavor. This is as good as local pizza gets. This is my family's favorite place for pizza. Here are the highlights: 1. Large selection of pizza's and toppings (specialty pizzas are fantastic!). Their salads are huge, and while there are many other items on the menu (calzones, sandwiches, breads, buffalo wings, desserts, sodas, etc.) we haven't tried them yet. 2. I've been pleased with their discount coupons, which can add up for a family of six. Just for checking in on Yelp, I got a $6 off coupon for any order above $25! 3. They are in a really good location (Firdale Village) which is quick access from Richmond Highlands, Aurora Village, or from South Edmonds. 4. They have always been friendly when I've ordered from them. I guess it helps when the business is family owned and operated. 5. They have delivery services, but I haven't used them. I would recommend giving them a try if you live further away. I would highly recommend them for take out if you live in the area! read more
