YUM, this is some good pizza! My boyfriend and I got the Primo, with added black olives, and I was really impressed. The pepperoni was some of the best I've ever tasted - slightly crisp edges, yum yum. The right amount of cheese and sauce and I was sold. It IS slightly greasy, but it's that really delicious kind of greasy where you want to gulp down every single little drop. It really just makes the pizza what it is. BEST PIZZA IN TOWN!!!! My favorite place for some amazing pizza. One day when I came home from work I found that someone from Venice Pizza had left one of their menu's on my door step. Back in September 2011 my mom and grandmother came over to hang out with their grand daughter. It was about 5 pm and we all started getting really hungry and thought pizza sounded really good. I went and pulled out the menu and said we should try this place that's new in the area. We all agreed and ordered an X-Large Venice Supreme Special, Canadian bacon, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, black olives, mushrooms & tomatoes, for $22.75 and Pesto Cheese Bread for $4.95. It was wonderful our stomachs only had to wait 35 minutes for the food to be delivered. The delivery guy was very nice and friendly. I put the pizza down on the counter and opened the box and it was like Christmas day for my tummy. The pizza and pesto cheese bread looked and smelled amazing!!!! Taking the first bite of the pizza was like having an orgasm in the mouth, it was so flavorful and tasty. The pesto cheese bread is to die for. I looked at my mom, wife and grandmother and they looked like they were in heaven. Their stomachs were defiantly smitten with joy as was mine. It was a great experience. Another delicious pizza is the Venice Special. I recently got the X-Large which has mushrooms, green peppers, onions, black olives, feta, mozzarella, fresh garlic, diced tomatoes, & spinach topped with shredded pepperoni for $22.75. This was another epic pizza. Venice Pizza has a great menu of specialty pizza's and you can choose from a small, that ranges between $8.95 to $11.55, to an x-large pizza, that ranges between $16.95 to $23.75. I've had several different kinds of pizza, a couple of different kinds of pasta and their cheddar cheese cobb salad is REALLY good. If I lived near this place, I would probably be ordering from there at least once a week. We were very excited to see some low carb options on the menu and decided to try the low carb pizza and low carb lasagna. Both had great flavor, the sauce was nicely seasoned and my husband loved the meatballs in the lasagna. I've ordered delivery from Venice before, but after my experience today I will never again. I made an online delivery order for a sandwich at 11:07am. They estimate 45 minutes for deliveries, and after waiting an hour I tried calling to find out where my food was. No one answered the phone. For more than twenty minutes. Nobody. Finally at 12:23pm I saw a call coming from Venice's. I pick up and either they didn't want to talk or couldn't hear me, because it seemed like nobody was on the line. I called right back and a guy finally answered. When inquiring about my order, he had no idea what I was talking about, asking if I'd ordered a pizza. No. A sandwich. All I wanted was my sandwich!!!! I strayed away from my favorite local pizza joint to try this place based on a recommendation from a friend. Although I thought the pizza was delicious, I still prefer my other pizza place over this one. We ordered a large, half veggie/half meat (not sure of the exact names) and made a salad at home to go with it. The crust was crispy on the top yet the bottom was a bit softer than I prefer. The vegetables were done to perfection and the meat portion of the pizza was just as delicious. Overall no complaints on this delicious pizza...I just favor my "tried and true" over this place. This is my GO TO pizza/Mediterranean place. It is hard to compare this place to other pizza places for it kinda stands on its own. If you have not had a Mediterranean style pizza this is where you should try it. The pizza is great and I have been know to show up and get there fantastic cheesy bread as a snack. They use very fresh ingredients and I love to sit there and watch the cooks make our food, and makes me feel good when I see them chop up fresh spinach for our pizza. It is tucked back off the street in Firdale Village on 205th just West of Aurora (Hwy 99) in Edmonds. I have been a loyal customer for over a year now and really enjoy just about everything on the menu. Having such a large menu for a pickup/delivery joint is wonderful. I run a small office with 4 employees and we can always order something for everyone and it is delivered fast and hot. Online ordering off the venicepizza-pasta.com website works like a snap as well, very impressed each time I place an online order and it just shows up 30 mins later. Really disappointed in this place now. The prices have gone up a little bit so it's not as much of a deal anymore -- but this is not an issue. The issue is that the quality of the food has really gone down hill. We've ordered a few times over the past year and every time it's gotten a bit worse in the quality. Now their pasta dishes taste like lukewarm grocery-store garbage. I had chicken alfredo last order and I didn't even eat it -- it tasted like the cheap stuff you buy at the grocery store. The spaghetti w/marinara was "okay" according to my friend. I will say that the Pesto Cheese Bread continues to be pretty good though. They haven't ruined that. But stay away from the pasta dishes -- you can buy a frozen entrée at the store of the same quality. It's sad to see a local place go downhill like this. read more

This place is fantastic- great food and great service. The foods is consistently good -the pesto cheese bread is deliciously unlike most others, the calzones have some interesting flavor combinations, and the tortellini salad is a bit of a lighter option but still tasty. Their side cesaer salad is one of the best values -only $1.50 (as of this writing) for a good size salad. Their delivery has always been quick and hot, and we never have to wait for a takeout item, even if we leave only a few minutes after leaving our house (approx 10 min away). When we picked up food one time, they even offered to remake our calzone because they felt it had been sitting too long. It's a rarity to find restaurants that actually seem to know what it means to be committed to quality. read more

I have said it before, and I will say it again: these people make the best pizza I have ever eaten. Some may be a fan of genuine New York pizza, some may prefer Chicago style, but for me this is the perfect pizza. The cheese is of the highest quality. You can also get excellent sandwiches, gyros, and salads here (with plenty of feta cheese). I think management changed a while back, and the quality decreased just a tiny bit, but not enough to hurt my opinion of them. This food really deserves a 0 star rating. I ordered the gnocchi from this place and literally could not pick up the gnocchi pieces with my fork! This is (careful description may make your stomach turn) because the dough RAN. As in whatever the hell they made this disguisting excuse for a pasta dish was either not cooked all the way or just so bad that it was the consistency of watery oatmeal. I'm Argentinean and this was a disgrace. I could not eat it. Then the pizza was equally as edible. I spent 40 dollars on this garbage that I wouldn't even feed to my dogs.
