Nice Edmonds local neighborhood restaurant & bar serving up lots of pizzas and pasta options and other American dishes. We really enjoyed all the appetizers options. The drinks were pretty and tasted great. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great casual ambiance while sitting at the bar to watch from their big TV screen.

Cute Italian restaurant nestled up in Edmonds, less than a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the Edmonds Waterfront area.  Abundant, mouth watering assortment of vegan options!  Why have I not known about this place before? Their vegan food is incredibly tasty, hearty and robust, comfort food that goes goes to your belly while warming your heart!  I found everything to be reasonably priced and portion sizes to be quite generous (as it would have to be, to put that "tofu" on your bones :P ) In the interest of presenting a fair and balanced review, I have two items of note.  First, their Greek Salad didn't come across as greek to me. The Daiya cheese shreds don't work in this presentation, maybe some "feta" cheese instead (super easy to make from tofu), some mint leaves, etc. Second, their vegan menu can be tricky to find. If you go to their website and navigate to their menu, the only vegan options you'll see are a small, medium and large size vegan pizza.  In order to find their full extensive vegan menu, you'll first want to click the "Order Onine" button, on the next page .. scroll down until you see the Vegan section.  They also do not have a separate printed vegan menu in house, just fyi! All in all, put this place in the WIN column for vegans! I can't wait to go back and try more options!

Stopped in with family again as it was our third time! My nephew loves the pizza and pepperoni rolls my brother and shared a BBQ Chicken pizza and it was delicious. Ordered small side salads and the amount of lettuce and cheese was incredible for a small.. Olives for days also.... The Italian dressing was not that good it was all oil but I like my dressings with a lot of vinegar. Seems expensive compared to Seattle places we get the same food and my niece said her Pepperoni Calzone was boring and asked for light cheese and it was lots of cheese ( I wouldn't have mind ) Over all my brothers family really likes this place my Nephew can't get enough of the Pepperoni Rolls and pizza!

Hey, help me not order this every time! OK, fair let's share!!!

We got to the place relatively close to the time they opened and was sat down right away as most people know everyone shortstaffed in the world, and it's hard to find good people, but this place has two really great hard workers that kicked butt the entire night. It was a packed house full of large quantities of families with other orders going out for delivery!! Honestly, reading the reviews, and then tasting the food - I was a bit confused. The food was delicious, price point was right, and the amount of food was perfect. We ended up eating the shrimp scampi with mushrooms instead of shrimp (im veg.). Then we got the La cosa....something, it was pizza, however we got the artichokes without the pancetta and prosciutto!!! It was fire! The crust is the main event, I cant tell you, you'll have to go! I was like where is the sauce but didn't care bc the bread was sooo perfect!!! Idk who is cooking back there, but thank you! Now, if you have room for dessert, highly suggest that you get the turtle silk caramel dessert. The chocolate is silky smooth, the caramel with the pecans were just "oh" so good! I was totally in the mood for coffee, but didn't have time to enjoy everything I needed (I wanted something else). The lady was fantastic, I suggested a blend and medium body of wine, she got me what I ordered, it paired well with the pasta and pizza! It was a maybe, in case you were wondering! I'd come back, but in the meantime enjoying exploring Edmonds! It's pretty cute! OH btw it's not on the water, but close, also plenty of free parking! It's in a residential area, which it was a surprise for me! Enjoy!!!

I love that this restaurant has options for low carb meals! Last time I was here I got the low card chicken & veggies in an Alfredo sauce with a huge garden salad. Tonight ordered the meat balls in a marinara sauce with cheese. It was good! Husband ordered the Greek salad with a house red wine. Mine came with a garden salad with Ranch dressing. I also ordered a gin hot toddy with a slice of lemon. So good! Surprised it wasn't real crowded. Especially since it's Valentines Day. Mostly older couples. I guess we don't need to spend a lot of money on a meal to impress our loved one. We will definitely come back especially since they have good low carb meals.

    Very good eggplant parmesan.

Lots of very good food here. The Pasta Bella is amazing. You wouldn't think that a pasta dish that prominently features celery would be good, but it is. It has a creamy sauce that works well with the spaghetti. It has good pizzas. And a surprise dish that I really enjoyed was the eggplant parmesan. Some of the best around. Has lots of spacious seating. People are pleasant. I really like the place. Recommend it for sure.

We enjoy coming for dinner- either to dine in with family or have a couple drinks while we wait for a pizza to-go. The food is quite good! There are tasty vegetarian, gluten-free and low-carb choices on the menu. We have had the low-carb crust-less pizza, and the Alfredo chicken bowl. Both were exactly as expected, and the menu seems fairly-priced. The service is pretty good, and kind, really. But it is not a superbly professional experience. And the bathroom floors were pretty dang sticky. Overall, I highly recommend visiting them for a good meal in a nice dining room. They have a lovely bar and show current sports on the bar tv. Therefore, I suspect, if everything here were absolutely top-of-the-line, prices would reflect and we'd probably be standing at the back of a long line!

I hadn't been back since a previous bad experience almost a year ago now and wanted to give this place another try. Same bad service. The bad service I received almost a year ago that made me stop coming to this place was I stopped by for lunch and got a grilled pork banh mi and asked for little to no/ very light mayo or whatever spread is on it as the visit before was too much for me and wanted to avoid that... Staff wasn't friendly that day. When I was eating the sandwich instead of little to no mayo it had globs like no exaggeration a lot/too much mayo spread for me so I did tear off a piece of the bread that I couldn't get the mayo off of and tried to take off the other globs and continued eating. I did not waste food. I just wasted the globs and a small piece of bread. I bussed my own table as that seems to be un clear if you do or don't and put the trash in the trash(globs of mayo +piece of bread) and plate near the counter. A staff member exited the kitchen and walks towards the register near the trash can and she proceeded to open the trash can and keep it open, looked at me and asked how was everything. I was honest and told her I always enjoy the food however today too much mayo and she just kept peering down at my trash in the trash and then her coworker exited the kitchen to join the convo and no sorry or anything...just kept her foot on the trash to keep it open and both employees looked at the trash and looked at me rudely so I told them thank you have a nice day and was off put by the experience. They were treating me like I was wasting or complaining. It was truly so weird like why keep the trash open and almost like try to embarrass me or treat me like I did something wrong? Also why no smiles, why no empathy. I don't like mayo..big deal! I still ate that whole sandwich! Recent visit on 06/06/26. Walked in and cafe wasn't busy, but trash on the floors and dirty tables. Two women. One seemed to be in training. No smiles, no welcome in, just a frown (no joke the woman training the other I believe was frowning and she looked mad) and a what can I get you? I ordered for dine in but was given to go box and to go utensils. I have to assume they just didn't want to do the dishes as one couple had dine in plates and were actually pointing to each other the trash on the floor and discussing their meal. I ordered the pho banh mi so I wouldn't have to worry about a mayo situation tbh. Food was flavorful and good. Portions seem to be a bit smaller than what I remember. If they added actual pho to the menu I bet it would be a hit! To-go ordering seems the popular thing here and if I return is what I'll do. Just sad as this used to be my fav spot but now I've found a better place with better service and food. Drinks here and food is super tasty but wish service, cleanliness, and atmosphere could be improved! Service is important and with my past two visits I feel it's a very unwelcoming atmosphere with the staff being hostile and cold and cafe seating indoors and outdoors are dirty. For me when spending my money somewhere I don't want to be treated poorly or like I'm an inconvenience or just being tolerated. The service leaves such a bad impression that it makes me avoid this place now when I used to recommend it.

I'm not sure if it's because something changed on the side of the bakery (maybe recipe or personnel changes?) or on my side, having tried more bakeries around the area. On our last visit we bought two loaves of bread to accompany a butter tasting. Both loaves I found to be not nearly as high quality as I remember previously. Pane Bello ($9) - The crust basically doesn't exist in this bread. It's soft and leathery and doesn't give that satisfying crispness of a well baked bread. The interior, while having good crumb structure, is particularly dry and almost crumbly. The taste is mild, perfect for pairing with higher end butters. (3/5) Parmesan Black Pepper Sourdough ($9) - This batard has similar texture as compared to the Pane Bello. It has the addition of plenty of black pepper baked inside, spaced out rather evenly, allowing a peppery bite every time. There's salty and fatty parmesan baked on top, giving a caramelized salty umami. It definitely has more flavor than the Pane Bello, but suffers from the same textural issues. (3/5) We purchased both loaves at 10AM on a Sunday morning and they were consumed within 2.5 hours, so I don't think it's an issue with storage. I ate a bit of their regular foccacia at a work event too. It has a good crispy exterior and is salted well on the top. Unfortunately the interior isn't the best, having a really dense, chewy crumb. I'm honestly not sure what happened. I really loved The Cottage when I first moved here 1.5 years ago. Now? I have a number of bakeries I'd choose over here in a heartbeat.

A/C was running high as it was a super humid and hot Saturday. The restaurant is one big open space with large, comfortable booths lining the walls and a selection of tables in the center. THE FOOD: We immediately had warm, thick tortilla chips and house made red salsa on the table. Salsa is on the spicier side, but was absolutely delicious. We had the Cadillac margarita (moderately strong and well mixed), tacos dorado with steak (fried and seasoned perfectly), and corn tacos with birria (melt-in-your-mouth and perfect temp). The bar is its own little mixology section and is very well stocked. SIDE NOTES: We were way too full for dessert, but there were several nice options that all looked and smelled amazing as they passed us. In recent days I've certainly stolen parking from them after they close, 'cause they share the parking with two of the best restaurants in Edmonds. They're much bigger than the garden sheds you see as coffee spots sometimes. Probably room for a TV and an easy chair in there for when it's slow. They have the usual lineup of coffees, some teas, and what might be a pretty good pastry list, though I wasn't eating today.
