When I got there, they only gave me wings, so I specifically asked, "No pizza?" They told me there was no pizza on the order. I assumed my dad must have forgotten to order it and I left the restaurant. When I got home, my dad confirmed that he absolutely had ordered a pizza. He called the restaurant to find out what happened, and instead of simply acknowledging that they made a mistake, they claimed that I left without waiting for the pizza, which was untrue and doesn't even make sense (if they told me it'd be 5 more minutes why would I not wait for it?). I specifically asked them about the pizza and was told there wasn't one on the order. Then someone else had to drive all the way back there and our entire dinner plans got pushed back by half an hour while we were waiting for the pizza pickup. Mistakes happen, and getting an order wrong wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much. Honestly, not a big deal at all. What bothered me was that instead of owning the mistake, they blamed me and made up a story that I was too impatient to wait for the pizza. Very disappointing way to handle a simple mistake.
