AnotherFirst time eating their pie yesterday, and their pizza is made with delicious cheese, sauce and dough. Amazing flavor! I'm a crust eater and I love the crust. Their extra toppings, pepperoni and mushrooms are large, fresh and full of flavor. This is not the cheapest pizza but it is worth the cost! You will become a loyal fan with your first pizza. Will update once we've had a chance to try their sandwiches, etc. Excellent pizza! The crust a couple days in the fridge and being air fried was even better than the 1st night! Highly recommended! For 29 years we have been eating Piatto's! Food is always fresh. Their wings are the plumpest, juiciest, crispy skin delicious best most amazing hot wings in the area!Whew! Cheese steaks are too fabulous.. stuffed, fresh, soft inside rolls, tons of steak on top of Swiss cheese topped with mushrooms and fried onions is my husband's favorite. I prefer their buffalo chicken cheese steak Piatto's PAN pizza knocks all those chains outta the ballpark. You must try Piatto's located back by Panera bread husband and wife owned. I guess I don't get this place. Yeh location is really bad. Kind of dreary inside. Went a few times for a slice. Definitely not their thing. Once when only plain offered I got, 'we can put whatever you want on.' At 11:25 am yesterday they had pepperoni & one Sicilian plain. The reviews are mostly positive so I think my impression must be off. I guess if I lived by I'd go again. read more

This is the kind of non-descript place that you will pass by every time if you even notice that it's there. I certainly did that many times. Never again. This is a great old school style pizza shop. It's easily the best NY style pizza I've had this side of Brooklyn. The owner is a man of few words, but a great guy. I've eaten here twice, and both times have been mediocre at best...I'm not quite sure why I went back a second time. The place is located at the end of strip mall, which features a Qdoba, Jakes Wayback Burgers, and Panera Bread. This pizza joint is located around the corner in a somewhat deserted parking lot area, and shares a wall with a laundromat. The place is a good space; tons of seating and tons of potential. Unfortunately, the inside is drab, hot, sticky, and just downright unappealing. Both times I visited the restaurant there were few, if any customers. There is always one guy working behind the counter, and an asian lady taking orders or helping to cook. They are both very friendly, but friendly doesn't always equal quality food. On my first visit I ordered a cheeseburger and drink combo. The cheeseburger was ok...nothing special. The second time I tried two slices of plain pizza and breaded mushrooms. The pizza was very bland, the sauce lacking flavor, and it just tasted salty. Edible, but by no means would I want this again. The breaded mushrooms were absolutely terrible. My teeth could not bite through the mushrooms themselves, and the few that I did manage to stomach tasted like freezer burn. I literally threw 90% of them away. They also did not have any diet soda's on their fountain soda machine; crossing out the diet tap instead of just getting some diet soda. I'm not sure why I went back a second time, but I have now really learned my lesson. I do not recommend this place for anything other than maybe a plain pizza. Definitely don't eat inside...I felt dirty just sitting there. I'm sure these people mean well, and I want them to put some effort into this shop. With some grit and hard work this place has massive potential (on location alone). I challenge the owners to step up their game. read more

Piatto's Pizza has been my favorite go-to pizza place in West Chester since I was in high school (it's been a few years since then). Whenever I'm in the area, I try to stop in because I LOVE their regular cheese pizza - the crust is thin (but not too thin) and the sauce is amazing. They usually have a good deal for 2 slices plus a fountain soda for just a couple bucks. It's a family owned place and everyone there is very sweet, but most importantly the food is great. If you're looking for fresh, awesome pizza don't miss out on Piatto's. read more

Undeniably superb pizza plus! Great pizzas and pasta undeniably comparable or even better than the overpriced finds in DC and NY. Everything from the dough to the sauce is FRESHLY made which makes A BIG difference in taste and quality. The first bite already tells you you're into something DELICIOUSLY AND SUPERBLY made! We practically went there every day while we were in the vicinity to sample much of the menu ... It was that good and the price was soooo reasonable. Love the ravioli pasta, marinara sauce to die for, cheese steak pizza and stromboli....mama Mia!!! Their buffalo wings is another superb MUST TRY dish! How can you burn a cheesesteak, look at what you've done, and wrap it up and give it to the customer anyway? Good restaurants add the cheese to the steak while they're chopping it on the grill so that the cheese is blended throughout the cheesesteak. But this place cooks the steak on the grill, puts the meat in the roll and then puts it in the oven for another 5 minutes. The end result is meat that has had all of the flavor cooked out of it, and only cheese on the top instead of throughout the sandwich. A good cheesesteak is not cooked like a grinder, and a good cook doesn't let it burn while he's watching TV. I wouldn't go back even if it was free. read more
