However we were there for about thirty minutes and were the only ones on a Saturday afternoon, so spot snagging may be easy. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and allowed to just browse the store. So many cool pieces in here and beautiful items, all beautifully staged. I didn't find my 'right' piece but did see a lot I would love to have in a perfect world. You can also browse on their website if you can't make it in person. Despite repeated attempts to work with Designers Furniture Resource, I have been left with a sofa sleeper that is uncomfortable, poorly constructed, and, in my opinion, a complete lemon. There has been no meaningful solution, no opportunity to return the defective product, and no refund for what was nearly a $3,000 purchase. What has been most disappointing is not just the quality of the furniture, but the lack of accountability and customer service after the sale. Temporary fixes were discussed, but the underlying problems with the product remain, leaving me stuck with an expensive piece of furniture that does not perform as advertised. I wanted to support a local design retailer, but this has turned into one of the most disappointing purchases I've made. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business and would strongly encourage prospective buyers to think carefully before spending their money here.

When the General Manager, Josh Marty, stepped in to assist, the experience quickly became uncomfortable. Rather than providing helpful customer service, he was dismissive, rude, and made me feel like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. As a loyal customer, I did not deserve to be treated with such a degrading attitude. What was even more concerning was witnessing the way he interacted with his own employees. In front of customers, he repeatedly spoke to his team in a belittling and disrespectful manner. The employees remained professional, kind, and eager to help despite the way they were being treated. It was genuinely upsetting to watch. A General Manager should set the standard for professionalism, communication, and customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected the opposite. His behavior created an uncomfortable environment not only for me but also for the other customers nearby. I sincerely hope West Elm addresses this matter. The employees I encountered deserve far better leadership, and customers deserve to feel welcomed and respected when they shop.

West Elm has declined so much we will never be ordering from them again. Buyer beware and be mindful that you can never rely on them until you actually get the physical delivery.

We also needed to reupholster four dining table chair seats in black leather, and they also replaced the seat foam, making the 15+ year old chairs look and feel brand new. Freddy gave us a time estimate of one week, and the job was finished on time. Everything was perfectly done and looks flawless! He also gave us the remainder of the leather we purchased to cover the chair seats. We will be back for all of our reupholstery needs! Very pleased with the service and quality of the work.

She helped me think about dimensions, material, color, etc. I went home and did some measurements in my home and came back a few weeks later to design it in person with her. I sat on couches, felt different materials, and found the most beautiful fabric on one of their swatches. It only took 8 days to create and deliver my couch. It's incredibly comfortable, I love the style, fabric and color.
