We are locals and eat at Venny's at least a couple times a month. You can't go wrong with their food, service and clean and simple ambiance. I love their Pollo a la crema! I often enjoy their breakfasts and over-easy eggs a perfectly done every time. Delicious chips, salsa, and refried beans start out every Mexican meal. My wife loves their crab omelet and Flautas. When my partner and I Googled "breakfast in Florence, Oregon USA, Venny's did not come up. We were having some work done on our car and found this while headed to another location. Venny was more than willing to alter our veggie omelet to our "NOOM" specifications. Just barely salted the omelette was exploding with south-of-the border flavor that beat any omelette that I've ever tasted in my 66 years of existence. His hospitality was second to none and he dried off an outdoor table for us as COVID-19 restrictions are still in place. To top it off his two fresh Home made salsas We're better than anything offered in a bottle. He also offers a full bar, beer and wine. read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. I am not too familiar with Florence so let Yelp lead the way on this one. This is a small unassuming place but the food sounded like a nice change of pace. My husband had an omelette with bacon, sausage and veggies which he said was delicious. I opted for the veggie scramble. Lots of veggies with eggs and cheese as well as a side of potatoes. The scramble was good aside from a huge piece of eggshell that kinda put a halt to finishing but hey, those things happen sometimes. The potatoes were delicious and the star was their red salsa. I could have had an entire bottle on everything and been happy. My favorite part of this experience was the cook and server singing along to music that was playing. Great local spot! Mexican food based menu with some traditional American choices, especially at breakfast. Had the Carmens Special Omelets with red sauce (whole poblano stuffed w/cheese inside 3 fluffy eggs); reminded me of a relleno. Came with corn tortillas & hash browns-was delicious! Wife had the bacon, eggs, & toast with blueberry pancake on the side. Everything was fresh, homemade, and tasty. DO NOT NOT GO HERE! Venny's is the best breakfast in Florence. The food is so fresh and the staff is so delightful. We stopped here on our honeymoon it is so good. My husband loves their breakfast burrito and they have the best chilaquiles I've ever had. Not to mention two of the most perfect over medium eggs I've ever had in a restaurant. The horchata is freshly made and delicious and their salsa is so so tasty. This place is 10/10 I was so surprised it did not have more reviews!!!! Venny's is hidden gem among the restaurants in Florence, Oregon. Their food is always high quality and Carmen makes sure that you have everything you need. They have excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their portions are generous. We usually go for breakfast or lunch. We are "regulars", so much so that the cook recognizes me and starts preparing my biscuits & gravy (+sausage and eggs) before I even order (it's #5 on the breakfast menu). After days of seafood meals along the coast, the kids wanted something different. We pulled in because it happened to be the next place along the highway that was still open at 2:30 for lunch (many closures still due to COVID). We ordered the enchilada, chile relleno and tacos. First came the chips and warm beans, with the homemade salsa. The salsa was a delightful surprise, just enough kick with plenty of tomato sweetness. I'm not normally a fan of refried beans but Venny's version was quite tasty. The enchilada was very good, chile relleno was pretty good. Would have been a bit better if both had a bit less cheese and more stuffing. Tacos were standard. Overall an enjoyable meal. read more

Huevos rancheros were right up there being some of the best I've had. There was some type of garnish that seemed to have salsa and shredded cabbage. It was spectacular. Next time I'm going to order a whole side of it! Looking forward to trying many more items on the menu. read more
