Be at Mexican food in Oregon!!!!! I have been searching for years and finally, 15 years later I have found it. Staff were so friendly and made great conversation. We feasted on: Steak fajitas, combo plate #2, pork verde enchiladas, and fresh house-made guacamole. All fantastic. My Tex-Mex craving was satisfied. Clean and pretty wall paintings. After a full day of hiking through beautiful trails, Rosa's was exactly what we needed! The food was delicious, the staff is super friendly! Their chips and salsa are on point. We absolutely love Rosa's. It's such a charming little family owned restaurant that Florence is fortunate to have. We go at least once a week. The food always arrives on a piping hot plate, while the service is always on top of every detail, refilling drinks and the chips and salsa. They are very good at making things to order if you like certain things left off or if you want it made a little bit spicy, all you need do is ask, and they are so good at making it your way. I have to say my favorite day to go is Taco Tuesday because she makes the BEST street tacos! And I can only eat 2 before im full....lol but everything I've tried on the menu has been awesome! read more

With pretty limited food options within walking distance of my hotel, I took a little cruise on down to Rosa's for a nice meal. They were definitely understaffed for a dinner shift, but still provided great service given the circumstance. I went simple and just got some chicken enchiladas. The food was good and what I was expecting for Mexican food on the Oregon coast. It didn't blow my socks off, but was still flavorful. The only critique I have regarding the food is that the rice was a bit bland/dry. Shout out to Odin for being a great server and taking care of myself and a couple work buddies who rolled in late at closing time. I'll probably stop by again if I'm back in town read more

We ate at Rosa's last night, 5-7-24, and it was outstanding! This was our first time there, although we had heard many good things about it before then. We were served by Yoscar and another gentleman whose name we unfortunately did not get, but they were both amazing, very friendly, happy, professional, and working very hard on a very busy night keeping everything running smoothly and everybody happy. I had the steak fajita salad, and I will be dreaming and drooling about it until I can get back there and have it again. It was simply divine! Most Excellent meal ! Traveling with a night in Florence. We live in a town with many good Mexican restaurants and were very happy with Rosa's. Hubs had Carne Asada y Mojo. He loved the large carne asada portion and the two shrimp vege skewers included in the order. I had Camarones Costa Azul with peach habanero sauce (crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp). Also excellent. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Menu choices are many and mouth-watering; the magarita grande on the rocks is refreshing; the colorful surroundings make you feel like you're celebrating the occasion! There's a price to fit everybody's budget, but I was sad to see the custom of honoring military veterans on Wednesdays ended a while back. Cozy little restaurant. It's in a small mall next to a salon. Not a huge place. Food was decent and priced right. Couple critiques for the place. 1) service was a bit hit and miss on timing and follow up. It's needs to be a bit more consistent but server was nice and approachable and provided menu suggestions. 2) I had the 3 meat platter. It needed a bit more fat to it. I had the queso sauce as an appetizer for the table. I used the dregs of the dip to add some depth to my main. The main dish by itself was good but needed more depth of flavor. 3) light on tortillas and inconsistent when they came out. Only 2 tortillas per container. 3 would have been perfect for the amount of food. Overall I would probably go back. I'm not going to crave it but I wouldn't turn it down either. My plan is to hit up all the Mexican restaurants in Florence on 101. This one is worth it from the get go. It's a small place but at same time lots of tables and booths to choose from. We were greeted by a sweet woman at the door. The special was a seafood burrito and my friend ordered it right away. I ordered the Chile rellano. It was the type I like for the most part. It wasn't in a scramble egg. The sauces had good flavor and did not taste like they came from a can. My favorite though is blackened Chile poblano with white cheese oozing out. Still not complaining. I asked if they had hotter salsa and she included 3 different ones. I also ordered the guacamole, creamy and made with real avocado. There are guacamole mixes but not served here. Chips also homemade. Bathroom was clean and even had nice decor for a little bathroom. Yep. So far so good. Looking forward to more visits once I hit up the others on 101. Best Mexican food in town! Well... I have only had theirs so i guess I'm biased! We got the Macho Burrito and the Burro Burrito and both were fantastic. SO much meat in these burritos!! You woulda thought we asked for double meat. The prices are super fair for what you are getting as well. The inside of the restaurant in really cute and cozy. The service was awesome. We got our food to go and they were very fast! I highly recommend but i recommend dinning in just because it's so cute in there! read more
