Positives: -the prices were very reasonable and affordable. We got a lot of great tasting seafood and finished everything we had. The seafood boil was great. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing too. -service was great, our waitress was very honest giving us her honest opinion on what we should order. She recommended we share too instead of trying to sell us an additional dish. -ambiance, sitting outdoors on a waterfront you can't beat that. Overall 5/5 I honestly loved my experience so much that I'm ready to leave California behind. California is overrated, that's my honest opinion being a California native of almost 40 years. I used to love it and think that I would never want to leave. I can't say that anymore, especially recently.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was well-decorated. We got the crispy calamari, fish and chips, mushroom steak, and their goat cheese cheesecake. The crispy calamari was a personal favorite; the calamari tasted fresh and had a great texture, while the batter was so light and crunchy. Pair it with the remoulade they give you and it's perfect! The standout for the fish and chips was how crispy and light the batter was. I liked the steak and the mushroom cream sauce but was not the biggest fan of the mashed potatoes. If you are a fan of goat cheese, you will love the cheesecake. I felt as if the portion of the proteins could've been more for the price we paid but all in all, I was satisfied with how fast and delightful the service and ambience of Nosh was. P.S. I would recommend checking out the second bathroom for a surprise.

I followed another couple in and overheard another table expressing the regret that they had not spent more time so they could eat here again... not too bad for overheard customers reviews. The table behind me ordered a crab and crusted halibut with a side of linguine that you can order it with Alfredo, marinara, or sausage sauce. Next time. I was here for the breakfast special which includes fluffy pancakes, bacon and eggs and fresh fruit...but on another day I would need to try the brisket Benedict. Chef Mari, the Bulgarian name sake of the kitchen, smokes the brisket in house. Breakfast is served all day; they are only closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. I decided to order a virgin Loaded Bloody Mary (they also have a Bloody Maria which is tequila). Sarah the server was the bartender and knew what she was doing. Bloody Virgin Mary came with steaming hot shrimp and just made bacon. Holy mother of God. Spiced with solid, well-deserved tangy kick...to off set the heat. Absolutely beautiful. The pancakes were incredible and lavishly covered with a rich blueberry compote that was thankfully not too sweet. The bacon was thick but not too thick and just salty in just the best way. Very excited about coming back for the other dishes that I saw being served. That's a good sign. Then Mari came out from the kitchen to say hello to some of us. Wonderful.

The restaurant was clean and well decorated with what looked like new tables and fresh paint. The menu is comprehensive American family fare, which in Florence is refreshing. We live here and there really isn't any other place that tours itself as family friendly. My wife ordered a smashed cheeseburger with onion rings. I ordered a patty melt with the included fries. Both orders exceeded our expectations. The patty melt was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked, with cheese, caramelized onions and marble rye bread. Perfect. The fries were double fried so soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. My wife's burger was also excellent. Both our burgers had fresh hamburger with great flavor. Definitely not from frozen patties. She's very picky with burgers and really liked it. Her onion rings were also exceptional. Not too greasy and also tasted freshly prepared. You take a bite and you don't get the entire onion piece sliding out of the breading. Last the servers were awesome, friendly, polite, and very positive. You could tell they were making a great effort to ensure patrons were happy with their meals and experience. Overall, 5 out of 5. It'll be nice when they get their beer and wine license but we understand that can take some time. Otherwise we will definitely make this a regular restaurant stop in our town of Florence!

I just drove up and down half of the Oregon coast and tried several different supposedly "the best" clam chowder and verified what I already know; out of all of the best, this is the best best. It's real chowder, everything in it is delicious and you could have it as a meal with nothing else. I'll give it a 3.95/4 because I'm going to continue to try to find the best. The atmosphere is also very unique, with all of the firefighter memorabilia, and pub style. But I've never had bad service here and I've been coming back for the better part of 20 years. Try the chowder!!

The portion of steak was large...guessing 8 ounces...temp was cooked correctly and it had a decent char on top... but it just lacked flavor. Maybe some marination would help. Eggs, hash brown and toast were on point...and service was pleasant as well. Price was $21 each which is a bargain for steak and eggs...just wish the meat had more flavor. Good breakfast spot but just not great...however we would certainly eat there again.
