Great atmosphere! Great view , the pizza was fantastic. The wines were not really our favorite. But did enjoy the dry Riesling . We both enjoyed a flight , wished we could have chosen our own types of wine . Service was friendly.

    Great wine and beautiful sunsets!

By far, my favorite winery on Seneca Lake. This places makes you feel like you're in Tuscany! Beautiful views overlooking the vineyards and the lake, so the sunsets were spectacular. We visited on a Wednesday so they had happy hour (BOGO drinks) as well as live music!! It was so fun and we really had a good time! For the food, we tried a charcuterie board and it was just the right size for 3 people to share. Pairs very nicely with their white blend- yum! I can't wait to come back here!

It's a great experience everytime I visit. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious. They also have a huge selection of wines and the view of the lake is beautiful.

Walking into Ventosa Vineyards takes you away from New York and brings you to Tuscany. Once you arrive you go right to one of their two bars. Once you get there, you have three choices. You can order food from their cafe, you can sample their different wines, and/or do a flight. If you are sampling their wines, then you stay at the bar to sample them. If you are doing a flight, you wait for the flight and then you can take it outside or stay inside. If it is a gorgeous day, you are going to want to go outside. The view outside is absolutely beautiful! The view will take your breath away. If you are looking for a winery in the Finger Lakes with a beautiful view, then Ventosa is the place for you!

We finally stopped at a winery we've passed by many times before but never visited--until now. We did a tasting of several wines, and I started with the Dry Riesling, which had lovely hints of apricot and orange peel. Next, I tried the 2020 Tocai Friulano, which had a grapefruit aroma but was incredibly smooth and delicious. Then, I sampled the 2020 Pinot Gris, which had notes of peach and kiwi with a touch of sweetness on the finish. My favorite was the Tocai Friulano--I couldn't leave without taking a bottle home. Our server shared a fun story about a woman from Georgia who visits once a year just to buy three cases of it, using it to make sangria for her annual party.

Amazing wine, Amazing view, and amazing live music!!!! By far the best winery on Seneca Lake! Glad we chose to end our night coming here

We were here on a Wednesday afternoon. The ambience was serene and beautiful. We chose outdoor seating as the weather was just perfect. The Cafe Toscana has limited menu. I like the system where we just mark what we want on the menu and give them and wait for it on your table. This way, we are not often bothered by waiters when you want a calm and romantic time. The white wine - pinot gris was amazing. We loved it! The artisan pizza was super fresh and flavorful. My wife also liked their side salad. The cheesy garlic bread tasted good but I wish they had some herbs sprinkled on the top. They have a wide selection of white, rose and red wines which is kinda obvious considering it's a vineyard and the place is beautiful right along the lake. Great for some pictures Would definitely recommend this place.

I came here for a wine tasting for my friends bachelorette- planning was excellent with Jamie and I genuinely think about the garlic pizza once a week. It is seriously the best pizza i've ever had and i'm so upset I live 8 hours away. I need to come back for the pizza alone, the wine was also wonderful and the man who did our tasting was so awesome as well. 10/10!

Just a lovely place and we are so glad we stopped by to enjoy the sandwitch and the wine. Covid-19 precautions led us in a search for good outdoor place and we found Ventosa to have awesome backyard views of the lake and reasonably pet friendly. We are not locals but they do have an amazing outdoor/indoor setup for weddings --- so can imagine this to be a good venue for that perfect day. Veg sandwitches were good portions and filling, serving was quick, and did i mention backyard views were great?

2018 cabernet sauvignon. Deep cherry flavor. An adult wine.

Lovely place. As soon as you drive up, it feels like Tuscany. The inside is comfortable and the wines are delicious. Staff is very helpful. We did a tasting for $10 ranging from whites to reds. The view of the lake is majestic.

For a family get together of 40 people that was unplanned till 4 days prior to the event, the event couldn't have turned out any better. This was only possible because the venue was picturesque, food was amazing, the staff was friendly that went over and beyond. Chef Ernesto and Victor were of immense help as the Chef was able to accommodate us last minute and Victor was able to help us organize, coordinate and make it easy on us. I would say, I ate one of the best pizzas and I actually took it home and the crust was still crispy. Everyone at the party loved the food and they were accommodating enough to bring our on food as they couldn't help us out with more add on as it was last minute. Thank you and you gave us memories of a lifetime.

We were sat near the fireplace in low chairs with a normal size table. This was very uncomfortable to negotiate and trying to sit up to eat. Don't know - can we just have a normal table and chairs? Our waitress was also a bartender - said she was new and was younger than other wait staff I saw. She was very nice. Ordered an old-fashioned style drink which was god awful. Not sure if they had their wires crossed there or it's just my tastebuds. Ordered the whipped ricotta spread and the mozz fried planks as starters. The focaccia bread that was fried was very good and the spread added to it perfectly. The fried mozzarella was standard to me. For my meal I went with the chicken parm which is served with rigatoni Alfredo here. I really liked the contrast and the red sauce as well as the white were good by themselves as well as mixed. The chicken had a nice fry to it but the lack of sauce ended up some leftover chicken that I left and didn't finish. For dessert I ordered the NY STYLE cheesecake which really wasn't. Don't get me wrong it was good and I polished it, but it wasn't really the rich dense NY style. Overall nice place with a cool ambiance and style to neon signs and black and white check board floors - contrasting with mainstream library charm accents and decor.

4 stars for this place bc it's very nostalgic for me. If you've ever read anything by me, you know…read morenostalgia is at the top of my list of favorite things. Deluxe has been around forever. In high school, a long time ago (no way I need to say how many years lol), for proms and Christmas formals, Deluxe was a popular spot. I never ate there tho for those dances haha. After high school, I'd fly home and my family and I would go here a lot. My sister and my brother both worked here at one time. Pretty sure, my sister did, hmm lol. The food is pretty good. Can be a little pricey, but it's good. This restaurant reminds me of any older NY Italian restaurant. So many of the Italian restaurants I've gone to down in the city (NYC) had similar atmospheres. Family owned/operated. These long time Italian restaurants all have that mom & pop feeling to them, homey...the "feels like home" feeling, if that makes sense. Is this place high end? Like when you walk in do you feel like you're walking into the Plaza? No. not at all. Has a bar up front, restaurants in the back. Not a very big place, but it's ALWAYS packed! Be wise to make reservations in advance. If you go on weekends without reservations...your wait will be forever...that's if you get a table. In that sense, it makes me happy that after all these years, it's still a successful place..especially since soooo many places in Geneva have closed and so many in recent years. Deluxe, I think will be around forever or at least until the owners want to retire. I do think someone bought it a few years back, don't quote me on that tho. Our wait time tho, for our dinner was SO. LONNNG! Biggest complaint. We waited over an hour and like 20 mins for our food. Our waiter was nice about it. He's the kid of one of my junior high teachers! That legit blew my mind! Wow! Of course, I would never blame him for the wait time, he gave us an idea of why the wait was long, but yeah...wow! It was weird for sure how long it took. They were also out of gnocchi. My friend was super sad lol. She ordered it and like 35 mins or more later, the waiter comes to her and tells her they were out. Gnocchi is her favorite apparently lol. IMHO, they should have known that when she ordered, but yeah. So she ordered something else, making our wait time even longer. So that's really the only complaint. The wait for food...especially when we saw parties come in after, they all got their food before us and left long before us haha. Just something to keep in mind. Regardless, this is The Deluxe. Is a local favorite to many many people. That will never change & it shouldn't. It's a staple in our little community back there. It wouldn't be the same Geneva without The Deluxe. When I'm home, I always go..either with my family or friends that have been friends since we were all in the 5th grade. It's special for many reasons. Here's to many more years of The Deluxe and people creating new memories with their families and friends after years and years of sweet memories already created. Thus the one star. I ordered beef carpaccio, expecting delicate raw beef. What arrived instead looked like a lonely slice of cold roast beef you'd find sweating under plastic wrap at a deli counter. Not raw. Not delicate. Just confused. The side dishes were served at outdoor temperature, which was impressive considering we were inside. The potatoes and broccoli were so cold they may have skipped the kitchen entirely and come straight from the parking lot. Then there was the steak. Ordered black and blue. What I received was neither black nor blue, but a sad shade of gray, with absolutely zero char. It looked like it had been politely warmed by someone thinking about a grill from afar. And here's the real kicker: Fabio Viviani's name is on this restaurant. If this is what's being served under his banner, someone should check on him to make sure he doesn't have dementia --because this meal looked like it would personally offend him. I can say with confidence: Fabio would not be proud. He might not even admit knowing this place. For a casino restaurant on New Year's Eve--when expectations are already modest--this was still a miss. The room was half empty, the weather was terrible, and somehow the food managed to match the weather perfectly. If you're looking for chilly sides, deli meat carpaccio, and a steak that fears a grill, Portico might be your lucky bet. Otherwise, I'd recommend rolling the dice literally anywhere else.

OMG!!! Deliciousness! We were lucky to get seats at the bar on a busy Saturday night, but MAN! I am…read moreso glad we did. Could be all the wine in me talking (though I don't think so from the way everyone was chowing down), but this was some Grade A BBQ! Pulled pork was laced with sauce - sweet, sticky, not the least bit dry... the spare ribs were so tender, Smokey and flavorful and honestly not a whole lot of fat... and the brisket, well it melted in your mouth. Honestly - just way too good! Drinks. Food. Service. Company - 10 for 10!

This is the first restaurant we went to for dinner in Geneva and it was, unfortunately, a very…read moredisappointing experience despite their excellent reviews. Let me get to the details: Service: staffs were not attentive, friendly, nor helpful. The restaurant was busy when we came so we decided to seat outside. However, their outdoor tables were wobbly. Also, there were no bugs control devices nor heating lamps to accommodate us. When we asked to move inside, their response was we have to talk to the host and the hostess told us it is not possible because they were "too busy".... Yet we would see an empty table where they rather seat 2 people that come after us instead of us. On top of all that, our sever never came to refill our water. For service, this place is a zero star for me. Food: we ordered their famous heavy plate. The food size was loaded for the price, everything tastes fine but nothing was exceptional. Giving them some stars for the decent food. Atmosphere: inside has lots of booth style seatings and bar seatings. They can accomplish large parties. Outdoor seating is not great as their tables were cheap and they're seating on a slope. There were no heat lamps or bug controls so I don't recommend eating outside in the evening here. Overall: honestly, we felt ignored at this restaurant. I wouldn't come back here since they're not very accommodating or nice. Highly recommend management to train their staffs better.
