Unprofessional, missed appointments, doesn't follow up…read more I contacted Ready Landscape on April 27 via yelp message for a simple yard clean up. On Monday, April 30, having still not received a reply to my yelp message, I called directly. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday May 2 at 9am. Wednesday came around and while it was rainy in the rest of the valley, my neighborhood was not too wet. 9am came and went and I received no phone call or text message as to them running behind. At 9:56 (an hour last appointment time)I reached out and asked if we needed to reschedule. I got a text message back saying the rain set them back and they would reschedule. Totally fine, I even look past the lack of communication on their part. I asked when we could reschedule for and got no response. I called again the next day, Thursday. They asked what day would work best for me and I initially said The coming Sunday. He agreed at first and then said nevermind, he had a family function to attend. He suggested Monday at 1pm to which I agreed. Monday morning I sent a text message to confirm the appointment. I never got a response. 1pm came around and still nothing. I called at 1:22 and got voicemail. I left a message and got a text 17 mins later saying they were yet again running behind. I again expressed it wasn't a big deal but that I wish I had an update. I asked for an estimate on a new time and as of this writing (2:56 PM) I still have no response. I tried one more time to call and was met with a message stating the number was not accepting messages. Didn't realize it was this had to GIVE a company your business... Update 12/16/18: How nice of you to finally respond 7 months later. And very professionally I might add. Your defensive rant and resorting to name calling speaks volumes. You also claimed to have driven by my house and found it so vile, disgusting, and repulsive that you simply refused to work on it. Funny thing, you worked on it just a few months earlier. Refer to the yelp message where I asked if you could come out for *another* clean up. Good luck in your future, bud.

Long overdue review…read more Ive been meaning to leave a review but time has been my enemy. It goes by so fast and ive just realized its been a good 1.5 year thats passed. Ive attached some before and after photos that ive found on my phone. I have plenty more on my hard drive but i dont have time to get that so hopefully these photos will do justice. Anyhow this is our first house that we bought and the backyard was just full of dirt and lemon trees. My dad was the one who removed the trees (to save labor fees). I found Dave here on Yelp and had good vibes when we met. My husband basically told him what we wanted. A cement slate in the middle and turf surrounding it since we have kids and want to enjoy our backyard for the furture plus we had a house warming coming up at that time. We had several other people look and gave us estimates and Dave was the only one that gave us a reasonable price since we were on a budget. He shared the same design vibe we had and was very open to everything we suggested. He was honest with the timeline. And must i say he handled my anxiousness as politely as he could because i admit i can be a bit OCD when it comes to projects and annoying because i would call/text almost every day. Although i may agree with the other comments here about him not being communicative and possible lack of commitment, i understood, on my end, he handles all projects HIMSELF with a small/close crew he trusts meaning if hes trying to handle ALL projects and projects dont always go as planned, things will be held back and he does NOT let any work go unfixed without him. He is very proud of every project he takes on and it shows. If you have a complaint, he will personally go to your place and fix the issue. The quality of his turf is exceptional. The cement slab is concrete, stable and leveled. As you can see the after pics, those are very recent. I took those just a week ago. As you can tell we added a gazebo that my husband built himself and furnished the area. When we mentioned to Dave our future plans, he was telling us that he can assist is just about ANYTHING and i dont doubt that at all. Hes an overall great guy with great experience/knowledge and character. He has a good heart and does every project as if you were family. In summary, I will forever be thankful to Dave for making our paradise come true. Thank you again and hope youre doing well if you get to read this review, Dave! For clarification Dave worked on: artficial turf, cement slab and palm tree edging. All else you see on the photo is from our work. Anyhow Dave is capable of assisting in anything you can envision!

At the beginning, I was only comfortable with Mario himself handling my service, but over time I got to know two of his team members, Jose and Misael. Jose is truly Top Notch -- he lives up to the company's name. He's very knowledgeable, smart, and understands every aspect of landscaping, from sprinkler systems to low-voltage electrical work. I couldn't be happier. These guys are fantastic and also do construction work such as installing pavers, driveways, and more. I highly recommend this company and encourage anyone to reach out to Mario. I've already referred him to a few of my neighbors -- he's working on one home next door, and hopefully more will follow. I've contacted many gardening services here in Las Vegas, and I can tell you, coming from California, the difference is big. Most charge extremely high prices for small yards -- sometimes three times what I paid for my semi-custom 6,000 sq. ft. home in Orange County. But Mario is different. The day comes and they text they are on their way / everything is fine and then I get to my house a couple hours later thinking they are almost done but nothing they are not there and nothing was done. My neighbors said someone came by and left. So I text Mario and he says the job was more than expected and sends me pictures of other parts of the yard I don't want/ need done. Says the job will now be $100 more. I'm like why didn't anyone call me when you were there. Such a waste of time. I'm sorry but I would not recommend this company.

Romulo is a MACHINE, as in, he is a super hard working guy who just gets the job DONE and left everything neat and perfect!!! He really has an eye for what is aesthetically pleasing and he kindly will let you know if something would look better than what you THINK looks good. We took his suggestions (and trust me, YOU SHOULD TOO and the end result was me opening my front door on a Sunday morning and smiling! We are hiring him for the back yard as well, since his killer skills at doing pavers and his experience at what, just LOOKS GOOD, will be put to good use!

Since the project is dangerous, I wanted to make sure they were licensed and insured just in case anything happened. I don't want to save a few bucks but run the risk of a fall and an injury claim on my property insurance. Santiago quickly responded with proof of insurance and License and that helped me choose him over others. He came over as promised on time and performed a fantastic job on the palms. He was even kind enough to send me the pictures of the results when he was done. Sometimes when you are looking for a good service person, you have to try out a few before you find the right guy to keep using. He did a great job trimming everything down (for the most part, I found a few spots that were missed, but nothing major). I tipped him 43% because he worked for like 4 hours and was only charging me $140, so I felt bad. However, after having to spend $100 on a pool cleaner, I wish I hadn't tipped so high. I should have investigated more thoroughly, but that's on me. I'm guessing Arturo would have at least fixed the missed areas. However, the filthy mess he left my pool in cost a star. I would be willing to hire him again if he can avoid messing up my pool or at least cover some of the cost of cleaning it up after he's done.
