Kelly is maybe one of the best manicurists I've ever had. She has crazy attention to detail and every time I leave looking like I have brand new hands. I also really enjoy getting pedicures here too! I'm terrible with names but there are three ladies that I usually get mine from and they're perfect every time. Again, excellent attention to detail, plus tons of options. I usually go for the lavender pedicure, but I smelled someone getting the coffee one last time and I want to try that one next! Love the place and how well they do nails. But I've sent a lot of people here. Some black some white n we've all come to the conclusion they have extra fees for the black people. I've seen us be charged extra to take off nails THAT THE DID! Then 20 for long nails that aren't even long and just crazy fees. I love getting my nails done and this was not a great experience. I showed her a pic of these french tips I wanted and expressed that the pink she uses is light bc i dont like a heavy pink with my french tip. I am doing dip. She chooses this pink for me and she initially starts the dip process which made the link look subtle but then she starts doing the acrylic method with the dip.... making it into a harsher pink. Yes, I should have spoken up but she reassured me it would be less pink when she filed it down so why would I say anything else? She also made them so short and the french tip so thin.... it was a hot mess... the pink part wasn't even smooth because she didn't do it the dip way... idk... I went home and couldn't get myself to like them so I called them telling them how the lady didn't do it well... id make it easy on them and just choose one color instead. They took it off, didnt have my first color so I chose a glittery white instead (well she chose for me bc i couldn't get up) and from the first time I got my nails done - no one has asked if I was happy with anything. Clearly the lady was not happy she had to re do my nails even though it was a different lady... she didnt once check in on me to make sure i was happy with the color. At that point I just settled. Overall... not coming back simply because of their customer service. $55 for french tip i didnt like and then they tried to charge me $40 for the new color and the lowest they went was $30... so $85 for such a bad experience. I think I just found my new nail salon in the Addison area! Got it on the first try to! I was greeted upon entry and didn't have to wait to get my nails done. (Walk in) I had gel nail polish on my nails when I got there, and my game plan was just to do a nail polish change. They informed me that this would be $25, and for an additional $5, I could get a manicure. So of course I got that instead. Plenty of colors to chose from, and the best part.. it even came with complimentary margaritas! That was probably the most exciting part lol. Cons: I literally had 4 technicians work on my nails. They kept apologizing, then going to tend to someone else. Not sure if they had appointments or if they were regulars at this location. Both hands have different nail lengths, the Nexgen is think and chunky. When i got home i had to refile my nails because of how much excess was on the sides, not to mention i did ask them to fix it but gave me backtalk. I'm the one that has to live with these nails and if I'm paying for them i don't want them to look like shit. Well they do and she cut my actual skin when using the electric filer.... first time never again. We had a nice conversation and she had me in and out in under 40 minutes. It was very busy at noon but I called the day before and made an appointment so I didn't have to wait at all. Wonderful place! Today was the first day I visited Venue Nails and Spa. I loved it! The place is clean, modern, and inviting. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted and asked how I could be helped. Customer service here is great. I was able to get right into the chair with Van. She was friendly and attentive. Soo much conversation. I love that she wanted to get to know me: where I live, what's my name, is this my first time visiting. They really know how to make you feel welcome. She offered me drinks...not just water. You can have red or white wine, water, or soda, or.....drum rolll please....a margarita!! It was to early for me so I opted out this time. I was also able to meet the owner, Lee. She was very sweet and engaging as well. The place is awesome: 17 pedicure chairs, 2 nail polish centers, 5 large tvs, private waxing area, clean restrooms, and let's not forget the margarita machine. Another plus, they are open 7 days a week...open until 7 pm on weekdays. You can even enjoy their services on Sunday ( get your praise on) then get your nails done before they close at 5pm. I so had high hopes for this place! It's so close to me, very clean and the ladies are very nice. I went in and had a gel mani and a deluxe pedi done. They did not rush and did great with my cuticles, so that I was very pleased with, but my gel polish started to chip on day 2! The color peeled off and the clear undercoat remains....ugh!!! I couldn't go back to show them due to my schedule and their business hours but I am so upset! I have 3 nails that have polish on them and it is day 7....so disappointed! My pedi is holding up great but the mani leaves a lot to be desired. This low rating is for the poor manicure, I can't recommend this place for a manicure but the pedicures are legit and last. Update: I called and went in and had the remaining gel polish taken off. They offered to do a dip polish...not very familiar with that so I declined. The non-English speaking increased when I complained about my nails and then there was laughter. One of the other customers gave a disgusted look just like I did. But anyway, the horrible polish is gone and my nails are clean. Can't say that I will come back even for a pedicure. read more

I asked for a different color and to have my damaged nails done the same way as my refill. The First Lady repaired my nails and looked completely different from the refill. I said something in a polite manner and she got upset and was sent to work on someone else's nails while one of the managers came over to complete the job.
