Rude! Not even considering customers. Even the lady doing my nails looked at me and smiled like 'sorry' If ur here for quick basic mani/pedi (no tips, embellishments, special shaped nails) come here as I can't vouch for their work on the extras. Tried out a new nail salon because I just moved to the Hayward area (originally from union city) and to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I brought my friend here with me because she had never had a pedicure before. I had called ahead and made an appointment for two pedicures at 5:30. We get there and my friend starts getting her toes done and she's having a great time. My pedicure didn't go that way at all. They must have been understaffed or something because they had some guy (probably does massage or works admin) start on my pedicure. He had no idea what he was doing, started off the pedicure by half ass scrubbing my feet with lotion which I have never had done before. I kept looking at him like wtf are you doing. I said a few things aloud, like "this isn't relaxing at all" and "I feel like he's half assing this" and "this so far is the worst pedicure I've ever had". So I got up and left. I told them that I had made an appointment and that I made sure to do so, so that we would be taken care of. I was then followed out to the parking lot as the owner begged me to come back in. She pulled my arm and was trying to get me to come back inside. I told her that I was uncomfortable multiple times and she just told me that I was making her feel bad by walking out like that. I honestly told her that I would be back because I didn't want to have a conversation anymore. I will not be back and I will tell everyone to not waste their money here. read more

Unexpected find! My sister in-law and I decided on a mani/pedi before dinner...who knew?! We both did the deluxe pedi with lemons, hot stones, wax and all with a gel mani and shoulder massage. Sometimes it can feel like an assembly line at a nail shop but here there was NO pressure and NO rush making it actually relaxing. Great customer service, clean shop, and a well done job! This is a fairly new shop, it's only been open for 4 months. And while I have my go to places, I needed to get a mani-pedi for a next day event and it was past 8pm, when most of the places near me are generally closed. Although this place only had 5 reviews, I decided to go check it out and I'm glad I did! I was greeted by Michael, who I'm assuming is the manager/owner. He was very welcoming despite being so late (it was 8:25pm by the time I made it over). He explained to me the services they offer - everything from facials to massages to waxing, in addition to nail services - and price list. He was very attentive and respectful. Lynn was my manicurist and she was just great! She was very detailed. I HIGHLY recommend getting the deluxe pedicure for $35. It was one of the best and most relaxing pedicures I've had! Everything from exfoliating scrub to hot stone massage. I love my regular places, but sometimes it's hard to make an appointment and even when you do you find yourself rushed or upset with the service. It's cozy places like this that are great because they are new and few people know about them which means they not only have the time to provide the best service but also WANT to. This is an average quick-stop nail salon. I came in for a mani-pedi as a walk in. I sat down right away and enjoyed a lovely hot foot tub while another woman began on my hands. She was quick. But not very friendly; just staring out the window a lot. She finished my nails and I sat back, relaxed while enjoying a great foot massage by a young girl wearing glasses. After looking down at my new mani....I was just shocked. Paint gaps on ALL my nail beds. Cuticles a mess. Paint on my fingers. I met eyes with the young girl and she just stopped, stared at me, and I shook my head....."oh, noooooo", I said. She said "it's ok, I'll fix it for you, just relax. I'll fix it. " I was totally relieved. I sat back to finish my pedicure. But another customer came in and the young girl got up, the other woman came back. She attempted to "fix" my manicure then she did my pedicure. I was done. No point in getting it fixed if it's just going to get worse or make them feel bad. Today's my birthday. But after letting my toe nails dry for 3 hours went home to put socks on, shoes on and later in the evening took my socks off I noticed my nail polish was all messed up. My daughters nails, ugh I didn't get her name older lady but she really had an attitude getting all mad when we told her her job wasn't done right speaking loudly in her language to the guy working there too, who knows what they were saying about us. So hard to accept that her job wasn't well done at all! Nails were all crooked, bumpy, design not done good at all and she didn't want to fix them. 145$ wasted easily!! From me! This place is right off of Jackson so if you're new here like I was, try not to drive right by because it's hard to make a U-turn back. There's plenty of parking in the back, you just need to drive down the alley. Lynn helped me today. She took off my powder gel nails that I got done somewhere else and was very thorough with her work. She took her time and made sure to remove all of the remnants of the powder gel. She then asked if I wanted gel or regular and didn't pressure me into choosing the pricier gel option. My total was $30 for gel removal and manicure. The reason I gave this place 4/5 is because my colour didn't look like what the sample showed. I believe I wanted 91(?) I could be wrong but it was a shiny white colour and it turned out more natural and sheer. Lynn said it was called "cotton candy" or maybe it just looked like that. Either way, the colour result isn't her fault, it's probably just a very sheer colour. I'll be back because I like how careful she was with my nails. My nails finally feel healthy again. read more

So I got my nails done on Friday night about 5 o'clock in the evening. By Monday at 10 o'clock in the morning my nail had broken. I have a feeling it's because of cheap product. I came in to get it fixed and it took 50 minutes and 2 tries and I walked out with a rippley nail and a cut from her filing. One nail repair should only be a 5 minute job nevermind the fact I shouldn't need it too and a half days later. And of course I had to pay, they didn't acknowledge I shouldn't be in 2.5 days later. If I could give them no stars I would. I got a basic pedicure and a full set with glitter powder. They made sure to let me know that it'll be $40 for my nails. Fine. But the lady doing my nails from the beginning already seemed irritated like she didn't want to do it at all. My nails were done so sloppily that they had to file off layers of acrylic for half an hour. Way longer than it should've. And to the point where my nails were getting so hot. And I was cut on the side of my pinky. After everything was "finished" I had to peel off chunks and chunks of acrylic off of my skin while I waited for my friend to have her nails filed down. Asian massage joint: pay up first, cheap prices, limited English, and Kathy wasn't bad but finished 5mins early. $25/ 30min, $45/60min, TL:DR I called and found out they were not busy at all on Tuesday 1100. They made me pay first, and the room was slightly chilly on a day that was 60*F day. Kathy came in and started working on me. She didn't ask if there was a certain to work on, so I had mention twice that I had a knot on my upper right back. She eventually got there. I also experienced my first hot stone, and boy does that thing burn! My mid back is already nub from hot showers, but when it got to my lower back, I tensed up pretty quickly and she stopped! The next phase was getting on and walking on me. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay here, and I like Kathy's style (minus those stones). There was also no pressure to tip unlike the other business a mile up the street. I'll definitely be coming back since I can walk a block. read more

I had called before I came in just to make sure they were still taking people, it was a little after 7 and I was the only one there getting service. They had a great select of colors to choose from but I came in specifically for Chrome nails which I had never gotten and always wanted to try. She had told me that it was a powder and that I could pick any color before putting on the chrome powder which I didn't know. It's didn't take long for my manicure and she took her time with it and at the end i was very pleased. I couldn't stop saying how good it looks and kept moving my fingers to see the chrome do its thing. Diffently would recommend this place for both massage & nail care. I did get a gel manicure the last time and will not likely get a manicure here again bc my nails are still recovering... but I'm one of those idiots who peels off gel polish and ruins things. Was in dire need for a mani pedi for my anniversary and Mother's Day at 7pm and found this place open until 9 on a Friday night. Read reviews saying to call in first so I did. The lady was helpful and asked if I could come in 10-15 min, got here at 15 min on the dot. Was sat at a pedi chair and that massager was the best I've had by any other salon chairs. Waited a little since they were busy, which is fine, I understood. Both ladies that did my nails were good. Pedi lady didn't understand much English but that's fine. She did a good job on my toes, woulda wished she put more pressure on my massage tho (massage chair did a better job) . I asked for the Bella pedi with a 10 min massage....was only given a 3 min massage -_- whatever, I get it it's late. Now onto the mani...I believe the lady who did it was named Ann? I really couldn't remember...her work could have been better to be quite honest, but she was rushing to get home to her husband. I totally get it, ladies, I came in late on a Friday night and y'all just want to get home to your families. But at least be more exact with your work... :( my gel came out looking weird. But it's fine. ***NO PROPER SANITATION*** Hello heath department?!?!?! Go at your own risk! I should've walked out as soon as I saw a previous client who had her eyelash extention done there come in with swollen eyelids and requested to have them removed! Anyways... Had basic shellac pedicure. Soaked my feet for less than 2 minutes then started pushing back cuticles that were still not soft enough and she was a little rough. Started cutting cuticles and cutting the sides of my toe nails to make them thinner? Never had that done before. Then put shellac on. Then put my feet back in the dirty water. Then rubbed my calf with the dirty water to put a scrub on it. Srubbed my calf, then rinsed with the dirty water. You ask me why I stayed?!?!?!....leaving for Hawaii the next morning. By then I wanted to get it done and over with ASAP. Don't ask me why....but I also decided to get lower legs waxed. Hawaii...remember! I was brought back and the lady told me to lay down. She proceded to put wax on me...it was mildly hot! Not enough to burn, but hot enough to be uncomfotable. Then I sat up, and saw she double/triple/quadrupal dipped the popsicle stick. Glad I wasn't getting my eyebrows or vajayjay waxed! Again...Hawaii remember! I felt soo disgusted that as soon as I got home, I took a long hot shower with lots of antibacterial soap! To top that off, I was charged $10 more then was initially quoted AND I even tipped! Like I said, I wanted to get it over with ASAP...FOR HAWAII! I was in a rush to get my nails done, so i called the night before to see if i could come in at 9(the nail ladies dont usually come until 10), and the owner called them and asked if one of them could come in at 9 and they did! This was the BEST pedicure I have had in a long time! PLUS it was CLEAN! I opted for the Bella Pedicure and it was AMAZING! You soak in a big disposable bag that sits in the basin of the massage pedicure chair, they soak your feet in special foot soak with limes then they do the pedicure, after that they sugar scrub your legs and feet, then a clay mask, and then wait a minute, they put hot towels on your legs and dip your feet in paraffin wax in a bag on your feet! Then the foot massage was OUTSTANDING! Ann hit every pressure point, it was MARVELOUS! I will be back and it is down the street from my house! They also offer manicures, nails, waxing, eyelash extensions, facials, massages (Swedish, Deep Tissue, foot, Hot Stone), and body wraps! BEST part, they are open from 9 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week! I went to my regular mail shop only to have a two hour wait. I headed out and searched for a nail shop nearby. This place pooped up so I headed over. I was greeted and seated. I was given a menu of pedicures...I picked one with a scrub, massage, paraffin wax and callous removal. While getting the treatment I came across the body wrap in their brochure. I gave it a whirl. They rubbed my stomach down wit h "medicine" and wrapped me in a warming blanket till I looked like a burrito. The lady gave me a mini facial and head massage till I fell asleep. I was unwrapped and wiped down from shoulders to ankles all the while getting massaged. I don't know if I have actually lost the inch they said I would lose but it was very relaxing. This place was very nice and they gave good service, but I can't give them more than 2 stars because they fucked my big toe up during a pedicure. Yesterday I got a deluxe pedicure and the lady doing it cut all around my big toenail using cuticle nippers. She then pushed the nail down and out using a poky stick. It hurt like a bitch, but I do have ingrowns so I figured she was just taking care of them. Well, it's now the next day and my toe is swollen and red and hurts so bad. I can't wear closed-toe shoes, and I really want to go back and request a refund but I'm kind of afraid of the confrontation. First time which will be our last time!!! Last night I called to make a 1 hour foot massage appointment for my boyfriend and myself, I was asked to come in at 6:30. We arrived 5 minutes early and we were directed through a nail salon, into the rear of the shop. We were given two foot massage beds, and brought tubs to soak our feet in. My boyfriend was approached by a female who started his massage on head, neck, arms. I was told my message would start in 5 min. 15 minutes later my boyfriend's masseuse left him-going back into the front nail salon. A second lady took over his massage. I was told a second time- 5 more minutes your massage will start. Across from our two beds, an older woman had begun her foot massage and her masseuse had left her lying alone unattended for 10 min. At 7:00 (1/2 hour into my boyfriends massage) a man approached me saying he was starting my massage. He began to do my face and head- stopped- left me to go out to the front nail area. Several minutes later reappeared only to get another persons massage oil. After several seconds his cell phone rang and he answered it. He started his conversation and that was enough for me! I'd had enough poor service. I told them I was done and waited for my boyfriend at the front. They apparently switched masseuses one more time with him and ended early. Came here for the first time last Friday while wanting to spend the night pampering myself after a long week. I was so pleased to find a nail salon open until 9pm as many would know this is very uncommon, though extremely admired. Arriving about 7pm, I was pleased there was only one other customer inside. I was immediately greeted and talked to as though I was a reoccurring customer. I got a Bella pedi and an acrylic gel polish fill to match... I must admit, this was the best pedicure I have ever had and I will be back for that specifically. However, what really won me was the serenity of the shop. It was very easy to relax and de-stress which is just what I look forward to. One star off because my gel polish was not much better than what I could have done for myself, however I chose a light pink color, so I will allow room for the reflection of the light as it was hard to see. Brand new nail & spa in Hayward. $35 for deluxe pedicure. Definitely worth it. The massage portion of the pedicure lasted at least 30 minutes which I loved, their tools were very clean (that's a big thing for me), and the nail polish work wasn't sloppy at all. I do wish they had a fan for my nail polish to dry faster but other than that, I can't complain. This place is going to have a lot of success in the future.
