I stumbled upon Venus Nail Lounge one day when I was unhappy with my previous nail salon. Liz was available and convinced me to try the gel builder manicure. My nails were in pretty bad shape from doing DND for so long. Gel builder has helped my nails stay healthy and strong. I highly recommend Liz for any of your manicure and pedicure needs. read more

While the salon is clean.... the rest of my experience was far from what I typically expect when getting my nails done. The staff was very unprofessional! A client came in for an appointment with a specific nail tech, the nail tech got the client seated for her pedicure when what appeared to be management began yelling at the nail tech. The nail tech then explains to the client that she was sorry but was not going to be able to do her nails. The client remained calm and was very pleasant. After 5-8 mins of the nail tech going back and forth with management ON THE SALON FLOOR the argument ended and the client who booked an appointment with her preferred tech was given a different tech to do her nails. My pedicure nail tech didn't seem to really know what they were doing... I paid extra for a "fancy" service that was not as described, missed steps (packages were labeled step 1-7 and were not done in order - some even forgotten about.) and the message.... I had bruises the following day. What a fancy way to relax and unwind - NOT! Pedicure turned out okay at best but I definitely had to clean them up at home. Now for my nails.... Oh myyyyy - looked like a toddler did them. I got the SNS dip and they were so uneven, the dip near my cuticles was not smooth, sharpe and ridged which led to chipping and catching my hair on the edge, pulling it out. The tech who did my nails was more concerned about chatting/flirting with the tech next to her vs focusing on how my nails turned out. Now the price !!! So you see they advertise they have a discount, well DONT count on it because they must have bumped their prices to make up for the discount. Paid more than I normally do for the same service and it was not a good experience. I think most ladies can agree - nails are expensive to maintain so when you take the plunge to treat yourself and this is the experience provided... it's really easy to never go back to this nail salon again. Nail salons make a LOT of money... with the revenue they make they should be focused on the experience and ensuring they are providing quality services. Good luck salon... you'll need it and I won't be shocked if I see an empty building soon from the business not surviving. Not sure they will have many or any returning customers. read more

Probably the worst nails I've had. Very rough, my cuticles were bleeding. I got something easy which were French tips and they were not the best. Polish was bubbly and lines were not as clean. Service felt rushed and I had polish on my hands. Would not come back. read more

I went in with a group on a weekday afternoon. We were seated pretty quickly. The salon was nice, clean and the chairs were comfortable. My nail tech was not great. She rushed me to pick a color, almost like my questions were stupid and she was in a rush. She used the electric drill to prep my nails for a gel manicure and drilled too far and caused me to pull my hand away from her. She grabbed my hand and kept going. She nicked my cuticle and caused my to bleed on 2 fingers. I asked for my nails to be prepped with the dehydrater since I have oily nails, she said no. When I felt a heat spike and moved my hand, she loudly and angrily told me to not take it out. I was done waaaaay before the rest of my group (we were all getting gel manicures). No one in our group was offered a drink. Other customers sat down and were immediately offered something. Two days later, my nail chipped. I went back and another tech was just going to patch it. I told her that I would like it removed completely and redone on that nail. She was not happy, but she did it. I asked her to fix 2 other nails that I could see were going to chip soon (there was no polish on the free edge), and she said no. She couldn't fix it if it wasn't chipped. She said just come back when they chipped. The next day, 3 more nails chipped. I called and asked if I could come in and get them redone, they told me that there would be a charge. I soaked the polish off and realized how tender my nails were due to the e-file. My nails are so thin and are tearing horribly and painfully. I would not return with so many other options around. read more

I received the most painful pedicure I've ever had at Venus Nail Lounge. The nail technician made me bleed and didn't acknowledge it nor apologize. Everything hurt from the drilling, filing, etc. The clean up effort at the end was the bare minimum. I had excess polish on my feet which he scraped off with a dry towel and even then I still had residue left from the pedicure. This was my first time at Venus Nail Lounge and I was rushed to check in and didn't get to finish. One of the women technicians came over and just started tapping the screen to finish it and get me seated. read more

Came here to get a pedicure. They said it was a 15 minute wait. I waited 15 minutes, then they sat me down in the chair. They prepped me, and I sat there for over 45 mins with my feet in cold water. Not one person came up to me and tried to attend to me. Very poor customer service. Only until I got up out of the chair to put my socks on, they came up to me and asked me if I could wait another 5-10 more minutes. Multiple people had walked in and were attended to before me. The chairs are nice, and the inside is very rich looking. I would not recommend this place due to poor customer service and lack of attention. read more

Made an appointment for SNS and a pedicure, they were 30 minutes late to my appointment. My toes were rushed, no top coat and the polish bot cleaned up. My SNS I had to return a few days later because one completely came off. I had to wait 30 minutes to get one mail fixed and they didn't even make sure the shape matched the rest. On top of that I had to pay to have them fix the mail even though it was the quality of their service that caused it to come off in the first place. It's a shame since it's so much closer to my home and I go every 3 weeks, but I will not be returning. read more

I was on search for a nail salon nearby, and I came across Venus nails. I saw they had a promo for Mother's Day. So I thought Bauer best time to try something new, as I went ahead and followed the promo instructions of booking for my daughter and I. We booked for gel pedi and mani and full set for myself. I got attended right away and the tech who did my daughter was great however they forgot all about my full set I ended up with a rushed gel polish mani and when I mentioned the promo before I paid it was like they didn't want to do it. The promo stated 10% for one booking and 20% for 2+ clearly we are two and they only gave me 10%. As my first time being there I do not appreciated false promo as when I asked why they were only doing 10% the front desk stated that she had already spoken to the manager? She said she had mentioned it to her and that that was all she could do for me. That they always do this they promote promos and don't follow them through. I understand the cost of service for getting your nails done but for me it was about the experience of trying some place new with an offer that made it worth trying it out. But that is not the case, so If you are thinking of going give it a try but don't go in with high expectations, some nail tech are good but not all the promos, discounts etc are real. I would say call before you go but they wouldn't follow based on what you booked anyway. read more
