I went for a full set of gel nails. The final condition was truly awful. I had product over my skin on all my fingers. The shape was not uniform on all, and they appeared rippled, not smooth. They were wider at the tip and curved upwards. I have photos of all my fingers looking awful. They cut me in multiple places and showed no concern. I went to a different salon the following day to have them removed and redone. I've had nails for years and never have had any looking this horrible. Absolutely discourage anyone from going there. I would give negative stars if possible but have to pick 1 to post. read more

This place is bright, light and clean! I appreciated that the utensils came from sealed packs. My nail tech was this older lady who even I don't believe she spoke much English, she still managed to communicate really well without many words and she was very sweet and very funny too. She seemed happy and to be having fun with her customers and she did a great job on my nails and toes overall. I am giving four stars because although I'll be back there were two mishaps that could have been handled better. I am not upset that they happened just that they weren't handled well. First, when we went over the the lights at the end to finish drying my fingers we accidentally bumped into each other and I hit two of my nails on the light cabinet. Instead of taking off the polish and starting over on those two nails she just added more polish to the top. It ended up looking better than I expected when it dried but you can still see where the touch-up was made because the surface isn't smooth. I think she should have just redone those two nails. The other mishap was when she was doing the foot scrubber she accidentally scrubbed a little too hard on my big toe and it started bleeding. That part doesn't upset me because accidents absolutely happen but it was clear that they don't have any sort of plan or protocol when that happens. So I think my nail tech did the best she could and tried a bunch of things but it would have been nice if they had some sort of protocol or even just got me a a bandaid. Instead she sort of just kept going and dabbed some alcohol(?) on it. Despite the unlucky parts of my visit I will still most likely be going back. Edit: I did go back the next day and they fixed my two nails for free even though I offered to pay. read more

I've been to this new salon a couple of times and now and love the experience. Best in IC! First, the entire salon is clean and new and bright. The management installed comfy massaging chairs and there is a focus on cleanliness with every client getting there own new pumice bars and orange sticks to avoid contamination. The soaking bins are lined fresh for each customer. Plus there is a custom ventilation system to remove the polish odors keeping your senses happy. Second, the staff is friendly and accommodating in every regard. Starting with Travis who greets you and will happily get you a coke or a glass of wine. Then your nail tech who will pamper your tootsies as they deserve. I like the Venus pedicure because it includes a salt scrub and paraffin wax to sooth and soften. The color selection is great. Kelly as taken care of me a couple of times and she is wonderful. Lastly, the play my HGTV with Chip and Joanna while I drink my wine and pamper myself in the massaging chair. So I have been coming to this place for 8 months and have never had an issue. I get the dipped manicure and they last me up to 4 weeks. I have had my nails done since I was 10 years old at many salons over the years and nothing last as long as the dip powder. Linda and Amy are my favorites to go to and be taken care of. This nail salon and Linda in particular gave me the worst gel set I've had in my 25 years of manicures. The gel on my thumbs peeled off within four hours of my manicure, and all this after Linda was mean and kept yanking on my hands the entire treatment. The nails are all filed crooked and slanted. I had a manicure, a full set acrylic with shellac, and a pedicure. The pedicure was good. I could have used a bit more scrubbing but it was good overall. The shellac was a shame. The man who did my nails didn't have the patience to do a good job, leaving crusted powder under my nails and doing a very poor job in applying the nail polish. He didn't leave the nails under the LED machine for long enough, so they were not dried when he applied the next coat. One of my nails was terrible, and instead of taking the polish off and doing it all over, he tried to fix the polish by applying the final coat. I pointed it out to him that I was not happy and he didn't offer to redo anything. A shame. Certainly not coming back! read more

The massage chairs are very comfy and have a handy little attachment that holds your legs up while your feet are being de-calloused. I went in for a pedicure and no-chip manicure. To start off, the woman was very vocal as to how she thought my nails were too short throughout the pedicure making it very uncomfortable for me as a customer. She also failed to cover the entire nail when painting my toes. The second layer looks as if it's melting because she didn't cover the nails all the way. Went in to get dip powder nails and a pedicure ended up being over $70.00. My nails looked so bad and the lady who attended me was so mean and rude! My toes looked fine but nothing special. I went to Venus Nails & Spa just to get my nails done. I asked for Acrylic nails and they didn't give me them instead they just glued nails on me and painted them. If I wanted to get my nails done like that I would have just went to the dollar store or Walmart for those type of nails. They completely over priced me it was over 100 dollars and I didn't even get the nails I asked for. Not to mention I barely knew what they were saying. The nails fell off the next day it was horrible service and they didn't even talk to me while doing my nails. Not very good social skills with this establishment. If you want to go there for over priced nails and poor service this is definitely the place for you. I am giving them two stars because they weren't completely horrible. I walked in and waited for about thirty minutes maybe longer. They did stay about ten minutes past their closing time to finish up my nails. If I knew they were going to do my nails bad I would have just went to another nail place another day. I don't know what the other things are like but I know that the people that do the nails aren't that good. I know people that go here and love their nails so I am giving them another chance. My first experience wasn't that good but hopefully my second experience is because if it isn't I am never coming back. read more

To top it off, with the slightest pressure my nails snapped off within a week of getting them. They looked pretty, but no durability and extremely overpriced! read more
