The point of a mani/pedi is to make your nails look good and relax, right? This did neither. Very few of their techs speak English well enough to understand what I wanted and they ruined my nails. I went in with great length and just wanted them shaped and polished. The first thing she did was cut off all my length and make them straight across even though I said "oval" and "rounded" repeatedly. There were no certificates posted anywhere, I'm not sure anyone is properly trained. The sanitation is sketchy at best and I will never go back. A friend referred me to this salon and I was very disappointed. I went with two friends. Two of us asked for the same exact thing. We found a picture that was on their website with their business card next to it so we thought it was something they have done before and if they were advertising it--should be good. First we got pedicures, which were okay. I got a green tea infused pedicure which honestly did not do much of anything. I couldn't even smell it. They were very nice but the end result was sloppy. My nails were uneven and I got white polish that ended up with missing spots in the middle of my nail. The polish was also lumpy and streaky. Since I got white you could see all of that. After I got a full set with the dip powder. I have small nails and I specifically asked if they thought it would turn out nice because I have never tried that and needed a tip put on. They said yes. The picture we showed them was ombré pink and white nails. They didn't end up looking anything like the picture. My nails were THICKKKKKK and way too long. I asked her to make them shorter, thin them out and smooth them out. Still they ended up looking weird. They told me they couldn't make them thinner or they would come off...which I thought was bs. They said something else about the ombré I got needed to be thicker because it was two colors and had a tip. Which would have been fine had I not asked at the beginning if my nails would be okay with It. I told them I thought they looked like $5 Walmart Press on nails. They said they could redo them next week. I wasn't going to be in town so I said no. But they still made me pay for the service. I was shocked especially since it was close to $100. I am on vacation and got my nails redone and even the nail Solon I went to thought they looked messed up...mind you this is less than a week later. In less than a week I had two nails come off and most of the polish from my toes gone...without doing anything to them. I won't go back. This is what I get for breaking routine and trying some place new. read more

I went to this salon as opposed to my regular salon and was not disappointed. I got pearl tip acrylic nails, filed short and square. The price was $35, which is a bit more than I'm used to paying, but not unreasonable. The manicurist assigned to me was a young (early 20s?) and petite Asian woman. She was extremely focused and thorough in her work. If I were to go back to this salon, I would request her again because I really appreciated her work. I am able to wear a set of acrylic nails for 4+ weeks, and I'm on week 3 of this set of nails. There are no signs of bubbling on the sides of any of the nails and I have cracked one, but that was of my own fault. Probably the best quality nails I've had, I just wish I could get it at the price I pay at my regular salon. read more

I went to this place with my sister about a month ago on a Saturday afternoon for pedicures. It was packed and there were probably about fifteen techs working. We got in right away. My sister had read negative reviews of this place but they seemed to revolve around one woman in particular, so I volunteered to take one for the team if it seemed like she would be one of our techs. Fortunately she was not. The ambiance in a place like this is not the greatest but this is to be expected given it's located in a mall. I loved that they had a few pink princess chairs for little girls. My massage chair didn't work which was disappointing, though there wasn't another arrangement available for us so I stayed where was. My tech, a young girl wearing a scarf, was experienced and focused. She had a light, attentive touch. The massage could have been more intense but given she was careful with my feet I didn't mind. She was extremely nice and quiet. My sister and I were able to chat easily and didn't feel like anyone was listening to us. I'm hesitant to say I'd recommend this place because I feel like I got lucky with my tech but I will definitely go back and try it again. read more

My best friend and I went here to get our nails done for my boyfriends sisters wedding. We went because my best friends mother said the people here were proud of their work and do a wonderful job. Well... they did a less than adequate job on my nails. The moment we walked in we were treated very poorly. The man at the front register was very snappy and acted like he was "all that" Then the man that did my nails took about 2 hours and they came out terrible. My thumb nail (acryllic nail) is pulled away from my real nail and he missed a whole side of the other thumb with the clear coat. The second day the nails were ready peeling off and chipping towatds the cuticle. As well as the texture of the nail is all roughed up with the drill so they look like I took sandpaper to my nails. I will be taking these off. I can't show up to a wedding with nails looking this terrible. read more

Only giving it one star because yelp requires this. Thia is the absolute worst nail place I have been to. Dirty rude and a waste of money. Do not waste your time or your cash. What they call a mani/pedi is basically an assembly line polish job. I had to ask for lotion because they didn't massage me nor cut my cuticles. Color options are mediocre. Staff is incredibly unprofessional: they look like they rolled out of bed and have their head phones or cell phones in their ears the whole time. They offer cheap prices and hit or miss service. I've been pretty lucky and had decent service, and they offer designs on the toes for free. Cleanliness is questionable, and I've never seen them cleaning their tools or taking them out of sanitation pouches. They are rather rushed and will blow through most of the pedicure. Color selection is on the smaller side with lots of colors no one would really use. Overall, my desire for cleanliness is stronger than my desire to save a few bucks. I've started going to a new salon down the road that I would give a 5 star rating to for the same prices!! read more

Secret Nails should probably remain a secret - and not for positive reasons. Ultimately the most humiliating experience I've had getting a pedicure; my nail tech was incredibly rude, the tools they used didn't seem all that clean, and I had to ask my tech where their nail dryers were after the session was over so that I didn't walk out with wet nails. I'm not sure what alternatives are available in the area, but I'd suggest trying them before coming to Secret Nails. read more

The folks at secret nails were personable and professional. I had my nails done for my wedding and plan on keeping them now since they were so friendly and did such a good job. the artistic touches were extra special! Inexpensive enough that even i can justify going back! And a great job with my pedicure too!!! I am very touchy about my feet, but these guys have just the right touch! read more

I will NEVER go back. I paid $32 for a manicure with shellac. Within an hour, one nail chipped.(It's suppose to last 2 weeks at minimum) The next day, my other thumb chipped, I have been getting this type of manicure for 6 months and NEVER had this problem. Of course, I had avoided going there because they are rude, talk about customers (not in English) and are like an assembly line. No personal touch and rush, rush, rush. Anyway, I went back the next day and they fixed the two chips. Low and behold, the next day two different nails chipped. When I went in, I explained I didn't have time to sit to get them fixed and that this has never happened before. They didn't apologize and one employee accused me of peeling it off, Now why would I do that? Doesn't make sense. I calmly told them why I was so disappointed and said I would like a refund.
