When I first moved here last summer , I went to them the first day they were OK. I went again with my aunt and my aunt liked it, but I didn't like it. The owner did not do my nails right I asked for complete square nails. She gave me a squareoval. That's not what I wanted. I showed her pictures of what I wanted. Still didn't do a good job my nails broke two days later they were not done properly. They were gross. They were horrible (I had to tell her to take off my old tips cause they were getting gross underneath my nails and the fungus was coming. She wouldn't change my nails. I said I want them changed. I'm not walking around like this and she had no other choice, but took off my old nails that were on for like four months and they were gross underneath )and I'm paying all this money for what I did not like them. My aunt kept going because she kept saying she liked them. She liked them. She liked them. I told her I don't like them got gift certificate for another nail salon signature nails. for Christmas and I was very happy that I did. I was able to go back to the nail salon that I liked when I went there. The owner of salon saw my nails and said I could've gotten a fungus because Venus nails did not do a good job. It was too much glue. She didn't do them right the nails were all wrong. They were choppy. I could've gotten a fungus and a very bad nail infection so I don't recommend Venus nails at all (they don't listen to what you want. They do what they want). They're never busy and we will take our dog with us and she will let my dog run around the store because they don't care. The place is not clean it's dirty and I don't see anybody in there is always empty when we went. You want an appointment you could get that appointment the same day because they're never busy I refuse to ever go back there again the owner doesn't listen to you. She gave me a pink French and it was gross. Gave me New Year's Eve nails and they were disgusting. I refused to ever go back there again. I don't recommend them. read more

i was charged $90.00 for a terrible full set. i showed the several mistakes and was told they can fix "next time". I was so upset I walked out without the pedicure. now I know why they always have open appointments. i will post a picture. the woman said it was because I have crooked fingers. i explained that I do not and I've gotten this done several times before perfectly. she shrugged it off and sent me on my way. The staff was so kind and welcoming upon entering the spa. It was a very busy time when I arrived as a walk-in client, but I was acknowledged immediately. I was given time to pick out my color for my gel manicure. I LOVED the fact that no one rushed me. I waited for only about 10 minutes (and it was their busy time!) and then I was seated for my manicure. The woman doing my nails did such a great and thorough job. It has been a week since I went and my manicure still looks great, even after remodeling my bathroom and doing heavy duty work without gloves. The gel from my nails aren't peeling, which is a problem I have had in the past. So I am looking forward to seeing what week 2 brings and I'll be a returning client! read more

I have been going to Venus Spa for 10yrs. I get the massage facial pkg every year for my birthday. I've never had a problem. Service is friendly. Went to a casino spa and they burned my face. Don't know if old product or tech didn't know what she was doing. My service was much better at Venus Spa. Now they are the only ones I trust with my face. read more

I have been going to Venus Spa for 6 years. The ladies working there are always friendly and professional. I have been using Sunny for several years and if she isn't available, I use Janet. They both give a good gel manicure and are very pleasant to talk to. I make appointments in advance and the appointment time is always honored. This was the worst manicure I have ever received. She rushed through it, left bits of the old polish on, my nails are uneven, and I asked her to trim my cuticles and she didn't even do it. Fine place - walked in and got a normal pedicure and they did a good job and used hot stones which was nice. When I left I was wearing sneakers and another employee put oils on my toenails and wrapped them in plastic so I wouldn't smudge - nice touch. They also gave a free sample sized hand lotion to me when I left. $30 so a tad more than some other places around here but not outrageous. All staff was very friendly and professional. read more

The ladies are always friendly and meticulous. I love the way they are punctual with appointment time. I appreciate the way they treat my daughter whenever she goes and her manicure and pedicure looks so neat. The gel colors are always in season. Love this place! read more

Worst place ever.. First I walk in lady asked me to come back at 5 I come back & she was still with the same customer only two people in there old ladies !!.. They charge way to much.. 57 for gel fill .. Extra 10 for gel color .. 7/ broken nail (I had 2) ... $81 plain nail no design and not including tip ??? I looked at the lady and said are you crazy.. I walked in there Bc it was close to where I was, the place I go to "vogue nails in manalapan" is 100 X better .. $25 gel fil $10 gel color n/c broken nail 5-8$ design at most I spend less than $40. read more

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! A very pretty salon with full services; however they have a nail tech named Hannah who is unfit to deal with the public. She behaves very badly and they seem to tolerate her actions. She does not do a good job on your nails, and in addition, she is abusive to your hands and her personality is mean spirited. Saw the reviews but needed a pedi really bad and my usual place was booked. Not only are they $5 more expensive for pedis than all other local places but they rush through it and do a horrible job. She was clipping my toenails and, because she wasn't paying attention and rushing, she clipped part of my skin. It was so uncomfortably hot in the salon that my butt almost slid off the seat a few times. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Deal with your gross toes an extra day and get an appt somewhere else. read more

I read the bad review on here but decided to judge for myself. Well I should have heeded the warning, I went in and asked for a mani-pedi. The woman at the desk, older black hair seemed to be in charge, acted all confused as if she didn't understand that I had an appointment at the tanning place next door and was just looking to get a quick mani-pedi. After about 10 minutes of explaining she says ok I can get you in at 12:30 which was in 20 min. I picked my color and she sat me in the pedi chair and said she would take me, it had only been about 5 mins so she pretty much lied about being busy (I can only imagine if people call in what she'd say) I told her I liked my nails short and round. What I got was SQUARE and jagged looking. When I asked her to cut the sides to make it round I got all of these excuses and was told that they know more about nails than me and that I can't have it any different. This is also after she got upset and just left then another tech started clipping. UNPROFESSIONAL. I've had my nails done hundreds of times and when I find a good place I stick with it. This place is SO not it. I ended up leaving with my feet feeling slippery and un polished. Bottom line: DO NOT GO HERE. Rude, dirty and not able to cut nails. read more
