What a nightmare my visit was! The pedicure experience was nice & relaxing but the end result looked like something my 9 year old could have polished. My manicure was nice, I have no complaints. It was a regular manicure no frills. I got my eyebrows done & the lady made them so thin. My skin where she over waxed waxed was so pale compared to the rest of my skin. I look sick. I've been coming here now for about 2 years. Danny and Vivian both do my nails and I really don't have a preference on the Tech for my pedicures, since they, all do such a great job. They take the time to do my nails correctly and at times I realize I sometime do not like the nail polish colour I have chosen, which is usually right away- and they happily come up with another colour suggestion. My daughter and I had a great experience at Nail Pro. Vivian and her family were wonderful. My daughter had a picture of a design that she wanted and it came out better than the picture. I just moved into a neighborhood right down the street and stopped in for a gel manicure and pedicure. It looked quite busy, so I asked if there was a wait since I didn't have much time. The lady that works at this establishment said it would only be a 2 minute wait. After waiting 10 minutes, I decided to politely let her know that I was going to leave. She then started talking about me to the customer who was getting their nails done by her....saying "I dont know what she's doing, I told her it was going to be a few minutes," like literally talking about me loud enough for me to hear her to another customer. Was extremely excited to a find a place close to my new home. At first I was very happy with this nail salon but only 1 day later ALL the gel came off my nails. I walked in 3 days later when they opened at 9:30 AM asking if they could fix my nails due to them coming off. The owner Vivian told me to wait 2 minutes then she would fix them. 35 minutes later I was still sitting there, she called me over and told me to stop talking to other people telling them how long I have been waiting. I explained that I would have happily came back at a more convenient time if she had just said so! While fixing my nails Vivian started talking poorly about me to the woman getting her nails done next to me! Literally talking about me but wouldn't look at me. Said things like this girl is just so unhappy, she doesn't understand what it's like to be a business owner, I'm short staffed, etc. she also said that she doesn't care about my business because she is established and would prefer to help her regulars. If she said to me from the start it will be a little bit of a wait or I have appointments and I'm short staffed can you please come back later/make an appointment, I would have done so. After how rude she was to me and talking poorly about me I said thank you for fixing them! She got up and walked away then said "I hate people like that" to another customer. With a waiting room full of 4 other customers that is extremely unprofessional. Trust me, don't waste your time, energy or money here. Go elsewhere because it isn't worth it. I would not have written this poor review if she didn't speak poorly about me to other customers in front of me. read more

I'm not usually one to leave a bad review but the "service" I got today was beyond horrible. I went in for a set of tips with acrylic, as I always have. I explained to Vivian that I had brought my own sheer Color but wanted an airbrushed French over my sheer polish. She told me that "no one uses nail polish and airbrush anymore", she Told me she would do it but it wouldn't last and she made me feel like I had no clue about the acrylic tips I've been getting for over 30 years, she told me all kinds of terrible stories about the chemicals in acrylic, how they make your nails look in natural, etc. and I eventually relented and agrees to what she referred to as a "permanent French" in spite of telling her repeatedly that I have had gel in the past and didn't like the look. She promised that she'd do it differently, she was so good at it, it would be beautiful and so much better......well, $72.00 later I left with uneven, bumpy, gel nails that are far too wide and look ridiculous. The white part of the French is so uneven, the nails themselves are crooked and I'm furious that I wasted A LOT of money for something I told Vivian I didn't want. Clearly, talking people out of their usual cheaper option is how they make their money. I was taken advantage of and got a really crappy manicure. Obviously I won't be back and will tell all my friends about my experience so they don't get lied to and taken advantage of by this place too! read more

I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I can't ignore the experience I had yesterday. I stopped in for a quick pedicure and manicure with my mom and we were told to sit at our pedicure chairs once we arrived. I understand they were a little busy, so I didn't really mind waiting a few minutes for someone to run the water for my feet to soak. However, I started to get really annoyed after 20 minutes (not exaggerating) of sitting there waiting for someone to start my service. There were customers who arrived after me who had their services started for them right away while I was still sitting there. What bothered me the most was that not one employee, or even the owner of the salon who was sitting a few feet away, said anything to me about the wait. They would not even look at me which was a huge red flag. If it wasn't for my mom getting her service done next to me, I would have gotten up and left at this point. When someone finally came over to me, I was given a very half ass service. The leg and foot massage was totally weak and it was just a huge let down. My manicure was no better, the polish needs a touch up after less than 24 hours. My mom had asked for a manicure as well, but they sat her at the dryers after her pedicure and never came back. I really don't like how this place treats their customers and just how they operate in general. The employees are very impersonal and seem super rude. I LOVE this nail salon!!! Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly. Vivianne, the owner, is very welcoming and says hello to everyone by name. They are very accommodating with scheduling appointments or fitting you in if you need a last minute nail fix. Pricing is the best I've seen since moving to NJ and the service is absolutely fantastic. Danny is amazing! Went into Nail Pro for the first time two weeks ago for a gel manicure. First time in a loooong time that my gel manicure has lasted a full two weeks without any chipping, lifting, or cracking. At all. That is a big deal for me & my nails! Ive been to my fair share of nail salons & trying to find a place I like since I've moved to the area. They were definitely busy when I walked in without an appointment, but I didn't wait long and I did not feel like my nail tech did a rush job.
