I think this is the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Started off fine, they even shaped them fine. Another customer came in and a worker grabbed my things out of nowhere and told me to move. He then finished shaping my nails and painted them like he was in a huge rush or something even though no one was in there. The paint looks like it was done by a 10 year old boy with adhd and can't color in the lines. I can't even believe that the guy let me walk out like this and charged me full price. Get ready, this will be a long one. I brought my aunt here for her birthday on a Friday afternoon. I made a 4:30 apt on the phone earlier that day, the owner, I'm assuming Johny, was extremely kind. I was very excited based on the reviews. I pre-paid for 2 mani-pedis over the phone so my aunt wouldn't try paying (which I now regret because he has my CC info). Note: paying with credit cards is an extra $1 and putting a tip on your credit card is an extra $2. I forgot cash, my mistake. The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and asked to pick colors. We both decided to upgrade to gel manis, and I would just pay the difference at the end. We picked our colors almost immediately and were seated by the owner in the back to soak our feet. He brought out the pedicure kits and explained how they never reuse any materials, and he assured us that our experience would be nothing short of amazing. He even offered us something to drink. Everything was off to such a great start! I thought he would begin one of our pedicures, but boy was I WRONG, he just asked us to wait momentarily while he walked to the front, casually sat down and was on his phone. Well...20, 30, 40 min go by. I got up from my chair and made eye contact with the owner (still on his phone) and he said a few more minutes. We had been soaking our feet until 5:15 when finally a girl got started on my aunt. I was upset because we had dinner reservations at 7 pm. Around 5:30 pm, another technician, Tracy, started on my pedicure. As she was cleaning underneath my toenails, she was wiping the dirt back onto my skin!! Not only that, but she also threw the used callus scrubber in the water where my feet were soaking. Is it just me or is that gross? I've had better pedicures before. Fortunately, my aunt enjoyed hers, as her technician massaged her for quite some time. Getting my gel mani done was another experience in itself. On their pricing board, it says that mani pedis come with 2 free designs. I asked Tracy if I could get 2 free designs and she confirmed. So I told my aunt who was also getting her gel mani done. The owner immediately heard that and started speaking in another language to Tracy, I could tell he was mad at her. Then when my aunt asked me what designs she should get, the owner abruptly got up and said "Tracy made a mistake...it's not free if you get a gel mani and pedi, only a regular mani pedi." He said it so rudely! After already making us wait 1 hour, you are creating a fuss in front of other customers over 2 designs? I acknowledged him with a simple head nod and told my aunt to get whatever she wanted. As Tracy continued doing my nails, I asked her if I could get 2 gold accent nails (NO design just a different color). When she got up to check the colors, the owner immediately got up from doing another customer's nails and goes "What do you want, what do you need now?" I literally couldn't believe that this was the same dude who was preaching about customer service and speaking so nicely when we walked in. Tracy was having some trouble finding the shade I wanted, so he found it and as she sat down - they started talking in their language again. People are not stupid...they know you are talking about them even if it's not in a language they can understand. I was honestly so done at that point, I didn't even ask for anything crazy out of the way to be treated that way! Tracy finished up my nails and did a good job. Then, I paid the difference for the gel manis, I didn't even care how much it came out too, I just wanted to leave. We were already SO late for her birthday plans and I was done with this guy's hot/cold attitude. In conclusion, I will not be coming back. But thank you Tracy for taking time to do my nails, and to the other technician that made my aunt's experience so positive. 2 stars for doing a good job on our nails! Taking away 3 for the inconsistent customer service, lack of respect for your customers' time, and unwarranted rudeness. read more

The people are very very kind, and I would give them 5 stars in a heartbeat, but my time at the nail salon was more of a 2-star experience. I called beforehand to let them know that I was coming. Though they say they are walk-in friendly, I do not recommend going there without an appointment. I waited an hour and 10 minutes with my feet soaking in a foot bath -- not ideal. Two people were working on a Friday evening. Both of whom are incredibly kind and hospitable, but they have regular customers that they tend to before walk-ins. Then when it was finally time for my spa pedicure, it was great! I loved every second of it. Until I looked down at the finished product of my toenails, and both of my big toenails are streaky! Last but not least, I needed to have my gel polish taken off. So I soaked them in acetone for a while, and she began to remove the polish. It is an extra $10 just to remove polish and not get any other work, which seems a little pricey. AND there is still left over polish on my nails! Nice people, but I will not be going back. read more

Okay, I have to change my review. At first I gave this place 5 stars but after what I went through, they don't deserve my business. I was told on my first visit that if any of my nails chipped, they would be fixed, no problem. Well a week later they all chipped, because they did not use the bonding gel on my nails. So I went back in, I was told to pick a new color, and at the end of it, I was charged for a fill! I don't know how you can tell a customer "don't worry, I'll take care of it, I won't let you down" and then charge them for a mistake that one of your employees made! Absolutely ridiculous. I absolutely loved this place the first time I went and thought I found a new home .fast forward to 10/20/18 I came in for a set of gel mani and a regular pedi, 8 days later my mani is completely chopped every nail and this is gel and suppose to last. I go in to get them repaired and have them soaked off and get a regular mani and he charges me 12 dollars and says to me I'm gonna save u some money didn't charge u for the soak off as if he was doing me a favor... so in 8 days I spent 72 dollars on a mani pedi and yesterday I got my mani redone and its chipping now on 2 of my fingers... save 2 say I will not be back read more

Giving this salon 2 starts due to the kindness of the staff. Other than that, I would give it a 1. First, the owner used the machine to fully remove my gel polish which you should never do. From there, he filed my nails in uneven ways which I had to notify to him to fix. Once my nails were filed and all gel was removed he quickly began putting on my top coat without even cleaning off my hands or cleaning up my cuticles. I had messy cuticles and nail dust all over my hands. Once he began to paint my nails, this is where everything went downhill. There was color (dark) all over my skin, thick layers of uneven paint, and the sides of my nails were not fully painted. This business just opened and my experience with them was great. The staff was friendly and curious. I went in for a manicure and noted that both the facilities/equipment and my gel manicure were very clean and neat with nice attention to detail. They honored my request for a short gel manicure, very gentle, not too thick. I was so impressed that I decided to have a pedicure also: they use a plastic liner for cleanliness, a lemon for that squeaky clean feeling, and even massaged my feet and legs with hot stones!
