Danielle is everything you would want in a tattoo artist - welcoming, listens to the customer and does some amazing work. I was so happy with my tattoo and I'll be going back for more. I have followed Danielle from her old shop to Venus and I can't get enough of this place! Not only does Danielle take such care with their clients, the shop is so clean and an overall fun space to spend time. I seriously with I lived there. My tattoos always heal so well and I get nonstop compliments! Danielle is my forever artist and I will never stop recommending her or Venus!! read more

I've gotten multiple tattoos from Fran, following her from her other shops to Venus, and this place is beautiful! The vibe is very female friendly and aesthetically pleasing, but beyond that, Fran is an incredible artist who is not only skilled but kind and genuine. I recommend her to all my friends who are interested in black and grey florals; as those seem to be Fran's specialty. She's the best! read more

The place is absolutely darling and I would definitely go back to another artist but Alexis who did my tattoo (should have done more research before I agreed to pay her a deposit) should not be tattooing there. Maybe some of her flash turns out okay, but asking her to tweak it a little bit was a horrible idea. I don't know if she was nervous or really just doesn't care (kind of what her attitude belies) but she made some major mistakes on my tattoo and left part unfinished (thank god because this way it will actually be easier for someone else to fix) hopefully I learned this hard lesson so you don't have to; don't just trust someone who tells you that they've been 'tattooing forever' ...or shrugs off your ideas, then agrees to a change but then 'forgets' when she starts tattooing! I'm sure the other artists are great. Just don't go to Alexis. read more

I had to constantly remind the lady of what she was doing. She forgot about two nails that were supposed to have something on them not just clear coat. The polish was chunky and messy, but at one point I just stopped caring because It had almost been two hours. When I went up to pay I had waited patiently for someone to come up but after a few minutes they hadn't, I asked if I could pay and they said yes. I was still waiting so I mentioned to my friends that I had dinner to get to, one lady finally came up and allowed me to pay so I can leave. They were talking rudely about our choice of designs and us, we had used a translator because they kept mentioning bits and pieces of stuff we previously had said about our nails.

I am really disappointed with the lack of follow-up from Jena (Owner). It's been almost two weeks of trying to book an appointment as her client of two and a half years. It's really quite embarrassing. Neglecting clientele is completely unprofessional. My last appointment I had scheduled, I asked to reschedule because I needed to travel out of town. Jena never returned my text and so did not confirm the cancellation with me. I usually get a text message about the appointment, which I did not receive. Without my knowledge, Jena cancelled my appointment so that morning I text her I was on my way. Maybe a clear case of miscommunication and I get it, these things happen. However, since that day, I have yet to hear from her about rescheduling me. It is in the nature of business to learn how to follow-up. So simple. I have never been treated like this and am a very loyal paying customer. Like I said, rescheduling is normal. Everyone has a life. Everyone is busy. Just be professional and own up to the fact that if you cannot handle the amount of work you're faced with, just pay for someone to organize your clients for you. I would suggest getting an assistant to help with bookings before expanding. It's just not a good look to maintain especially with clientele who isn't afraid to write about their horrible experiences. This is a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. As a business owner myself, I'd want the absolute best experience for my customers. This is clearly not a great experience. I did not expect this at all. Luckily I found an amazing lash studio in Rohnert Park. I loooove their studio, politeness, thoroughness AND professionalism. Their prices are also so much more affordable. My lashes are bomb. I'll just put this experience at SOCO with Jena in the trash and move on.

They do require at least 24 hours notification if you are going to cancel and they charge 50% of the service if it is not canceled within those 24 hours. I came here to get my lashes fixed and saw Ashley. The new lash client appointment is scheduled for 1.5 hours I was out an a little over an hour. She did an amazing job. I went in with my eye completely bald. She was profesional and kind. The studio is located right off of main st so parking could be tricky. There is a parking garage located to your left right when you see the studio. It's clean inside and cute. If you check in on Yelp you get a free piece of jewelry. Glad I found this place!

First of all, the solution she uses is definitely much higher quality than others (still organic). It covered my tan lines (apple watch, anyone?) more than any tan I've gotten in the past, which already gave this tan bonus points. But the real benefit is the color. Not a shade or tinge of orange. It looks so natural on my skin and mimics exactly how I would look if I tanned naturally. But unlike a natural tan, there's no sun damage and the solution cured in 4 hours, since it's an express formula. Second, besides being friendly and sweet, Ashley is super accommodating. She does mobile tans - so helpful - and came to my house for the trial (where she also did my mom on the fly), and is also coming out to the Airbnb I'm staying at before my wedding to do my tan, as well as doing my mom and her friend at a different location a few days prior. Her pricing is competitive or better than other artists in the area, and she has special deals for larger groups. If you live in the area or want to do a tan for a special occasion nearby, I highly recommend Ashley. You will LOVE your tan after seeing her!

The room has everything you need to freshen up, and the cute waiting area with tea adds such a nice touch. They often have specials and events going on, which makes it feel like a community more than just a spa. The membership is very reasonable if you visit regularly, and I love that you can easily put it on hold for just $10 a month if you're traveling. Another bonus...they even have a cabinet where you can store your own products! I usually pop in for 8-10 minutes to relax and reset, and honestly, that's sometimes all I need. My skin has been glowing ever since I started coming here. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a quick, clean, and rejuvenating self-care spot in Sebastopol!

I have been lucky enough to follow Fran from her old shops to Venus tattoo collective. Fran is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. Kind, sweet, caring, and an amazingly talented artist. I can't help but absolutely love and adore her! She took my ideas and brought them to life. So welcoming and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way. I am ALWAYS getting compliments on the beautiful work Fran has done. I highly recommend Fran to anyone and everyone! Venus is by far the most stunning studio I have been to yet. Knowing that it's an all women ran studio is a major plus. Girl power! Very clean and welcoming. When you walk in you realize dreams really do come true. I visited this shop for the first time in late August and I am absolutely in love with all of the vibes! The shop is very clean, and the decor is so eclectic and fun. Making my appointment with my artist (Alex) was very easy, and upon arrival It was so convenient to scan and fill out all of the consent forms electronically. My tattoo is absolutely gorgeous, and I received the most detailed aftercare instructions that I have ever received in 20 years of being tattooed. She healed up beautifully and the line work is so clean, color shading and blending are great. I requested a custom tattoo with Alex at Venus. First off, the vibes and aesthetic in this studio are immaculate 10/10! Such a sweet, fun and welcoming space. Alex was so amazing, from start to finish. She showed me her array of colored inks and consulted with me on my preferences and provided great advice. During the whole process she was courteous, downright hilarious, and thoughtful (checking in with me throughout the session). My tattoo turned out so perfect! I've gotten a couple of tattoos with Danielle before she opened venus tattoo collective. I was excited to book with her at her shop to get matching tattoos with my siblings. When got there i was amazed by how beautiful the shop is, it had so many cute touches to it. We were greeted by Danielle and she was super sweet as always, and made me and my siblings feel super comfortable and safe. We all loved our tattoos and we all want to go back again! This is such a cool place. From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a maximalist interior filled with transfixing decor. It's a distinctly feminine vibe so different from traditional tattoo parlors. I get my nails done my Gypsy Titmouse, Jessica Sikora. She's a true artist, whose works on canvas are even more spectacular than what she will do on your nails. She specializes in high-end art and products and will have every one admiring your nails! I have now gotten three tattoos from Danielle, and they are, in one word, AMAZING. A cover-up, a drawing my daughter made, and something I found inspo for, and she made her own. I love her attention to detail, communication, friendliness, and, above all, her talent. Her location is clean, fun, and inviting. I love that each artist has a space where you can close the door, too. It allows me to think of another tattoo in a location where I don't have to expose my body to an entire shop. Had an excellent experience getting Tattoo'd by Alex. She has done a few of my pieces as well as a bunch for my wife. We followed her from the last place she was working. She also loves Star Wars and she is the perfect person to draw something up from that genre. The attention to detail in the all female tattoo shop is indescribable. Danielle is an amazing artist and the entire vibe of the place is warm and welcoming and unique all at the same time. She really understands my vision for the art work I in vision. Alex is another wonderful artist at this place. Alex is an incredible artist, she did exactly what I asked for! She is kind, quality work, extremely talented, and overall an amazing woman. I have trusted her now with 2 of my tattoos and I am so happy with how they look and she is super gentle. The space is very beautiful, well decorated, clean, and everyone is friendly! This is the most warm and welcoming place! Danielle is just wonderful. She is so creative, patient and accommodating. She'll redo a sketch until it's just what you want and reposition it on you as many times as needed, no complaints or attitude about it. All the artists there I've crossed paths with have also been extremely nice. Can't recommend this place enough!! read more
