EcoPure cleaning also offers Dry Cleaning. When I signed up, the Director, Boris Ostrovsky, did not tell me that they only do pick up and delivery for a third party. He only told me that when I called him to let him know my formal tie had been ruined. I had a wedding this past weekend and sent a tie off to be dry cleaned before it. I was the groom. It was ruined. I called the number on the Dry Cleaners bag and it turned out to be: 725 River Rd Edgewater, NJ 07020 Phone number (201) 941-4150 Business website organiccarecleaners.com I was given the run around and told I would be called back in 5 minutes. 4 hours later I called them - no answer. I left a message then another then called until they answered - they directed me to Boris. I called Boris and was called back by his GF who said they would have the tie picked up and looked at the next day. It was picked up then dry cleaned again and returned. It looked the same. A line down the middle and damage to the lower front - it had an imprint of some sort. When Boris started ignoring me. I did get very cordial calls from a woman who pretended to care about my experience offering me a 30 dollar credit for more dry cleaning. They ruined a $120 tie and tried to claim it was a defect in the tie - which was super high quality and had been successfully dry cleaned before. I do not know if this type of arrogance and ineptitude surfaces in their home cleaning service but their misrepresentation of the fact that they just deliver and pick up the dry cleaning then passing the buck and handling the issue with feigned concern is really bad. When I told them I would have to report them to the Better Business Bureau unless this was made right, they essentially told me they would just claim that there must have been a manufacturers defect and that "This has never happened before." LOL Please be very careful using this company for Dry Cleaning or House Cleaning. If something goes wrong, they probably will not do the right thing. Up to you to chance it. read more

Absolute garbage. Do not waste your time or your money. Against my better judgement I gave ecopure a second chance and they completely disappointed. To compound the matter, Boris, the owner doesn't seem to have any grasp on what the phrase "customer service" actually means. Rather than use ecopure you are better off burning your money. There are plenty of independent cleaning services out there who do a better job and who are more reliable. Boris, by simply running a business that puts your customer first you would be very successful. Unfortunately, you have seemingly no concept of what that means. EcoPure was recommended to me via a "Moms" Facebook page. Having a toddler, I really liked the fact that they used Green cleaning products instead of a more chemical-based approach. Their booking process was very easy and prior to my first cleaning, I had a call with a manager so that they could be sure they understood my needs. Each time we've had them come, we've been impressed with the finished product. They are on time, polite, diligent, and extremely thorough. I have been with this company for about three or four months now. I had appointment scheduled today Friday, June 8 at 8:30 AM ( which was cancelled - please read below) out of the blue I get an email yesterday afternoon at about two that because I had 56 steps which was wrong we actually only have 52, they were going to charge us more because they had to lift the vacuum up the steps. again they been coming and cleaning the apartment for about three or four months. The last time they came was about three or four weeks ago. yet they decided to email me at two in the afternoon yesterday when they know that you need 24 hours to cancel otherwise they'll charge you. ( how ironic ) Ana who is the one that sent the email and it supposed to be some happy customer service manager Was very rude and very very unprofessional when I responded to her email I never got a response back saying that the cancellation was confirmed. we will never be using them again. Yesenia and Paola did an excellent job cleaning our place. I don't usually get regular cleaning services that frequently, usually monthly or every 2 months since I work from home and can somewhat keep up with the cleaning on my own. But we have 2 dogs, both of which shed, and also some recent construction and yard work that left dust and dirt everywhere. I wanted a thorough cleaning that I could maintain. They did a fantastic job and finished quicker than originally estimated. The vacuum/steamer they use definitely freshens the air and left the entire house smelling clean (and got rid of that dog smell). The small touches (like the towel swan and the chocolates) are very nice and made me feel very well taken care of. Will definitely be calling them again. read more

We just started using EcoPure to clean our apartment based on a friend's high recommendation of the services provided. We were thrilled when we came home and found not only that the apartment looked and smelled so clean, but also that such great attention was paid to smaller details (like hard to reach places on the groove around the stove top had been clean, as well as lingering stove top service stains). Awful. No idea what customer service means and frankly, no idea how to run a business. Be warned - stay away. SYNOPSIS Our experience with EcoPure has been sub-par and frustrating from the beginning. This guy thinks he is running a smooth, sophisticated and client-centric operation. He wouldn't know one of those if it bit him on the ass. DETAILS We have had EcoPure Services for a number of months. The most positive experience was Boris' first walk-though of our apartment when he was on time and focused on winning new business. From the moment of signing up, however, all down hill. On the very first visit, material damage was done to a wall in the apartment with the Rainbow cleaner. Boris' immediate instinct was to argue with me and suggest that the damage had been caused by us. While he ultimately arranged for building maintenance to fix it, this left a bad taste. All the while, he was pushing a line of taking good care of our home and belongings. Next came the notification system. Ahead of every visit I would get repeated texts changing the cleaning time, while in parallel receiving emails confirming totally different times, none of which were the same as the time that was actually booked. It took three outreaches to Boris over a couple of months to get this fixed. The cleaning crew are generally very nice and well-presented. However the business model incents them to get in and get out of your apartment as soon as possible, since you are paying a fixed price each week. Rather than looking for additional things to do if there is time - or taking more time with the basic tasks - the cleaning definitely became much more cursory. There are meant to be 2 people working our apartment for 2 hours - on at least one occasion when I was home, the second person was 45 minutes late and time was not made up. The topper was yesterday when I received this email from Boris: "Hello - as you might have noticed we had an unfortunate incident this morning where we accidentally broke your blue candle holder. While it was likely not very expensive, we take responsibility and great care for all of your belongings. " What was broken in fact belonged to my partner's deceased mother and had tremendous sentimental value. It is irreplaceable and my partner is extremely upset. Accidents happen and things get broken - I get it. But who puts in an email to a client that they think something broken "was likely not very expensive"? How insulting is that, irrespective of what the item cost? read more

For as long as I've been living on my own I've used a cleaning service to do my chores for me because I CAN. I usually try to go the cheap route first, like I did recently with homeaglow.com and cleanify.com, but various issues forced me to shop around again, and I found EcoPure. My first cleaning was very thorough. They walked me through my apartment to make sure they understood everything I wanted them to do. I noticed a lot of companies out here (moved here from the West coast) don't do things like wash dishes or organize clutter, but these ladies did! They also drop some incense while they clean; they refer to this feature as aromatherapy treatment. They use this machine called the Rainbow that gets into areas that normal vacuums can't reach, making it ideal for pet homes like mine. They also have great customer service. They have a Client Happiness Manager to ensure your cleaning goes well. I'm now on a biweekly plan, and the price is not much more than what I was paying those other companies. They also service a lot of the luxury apartment buildings around here. read more

We enlisted the team from EcoPure to do a post-renovation cleaning of our townhouse in Hoboken. The fine dust from drywall sanding and floor sanding had withstood every effort from the contractor and other domestic cleaning practitioners. The stuff just gets in everywhere , into closets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, everywhere. Well, the EcoPure team arrived, 10 persons and a supervisor , plus all their equipment. The commitment was to clean Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and deliver a pristine house. I have high standards and I can only say, to my surprise and delight, my expectations were exceeded, and then some.
