Amazing potato tacos!!! The filling is well seasoned. They are crispy and served with cabbage and queso fresco, so delicious! I really like their green avocado, salsa and their red less hot red sauce, as a really nice smoky chipotle flavor. Vera's market, which is next-door to the taco truck also has great flan desserts in their cooler. It's a must visit location. read more

Probably one of the best taco trucks on the west-side! I always get the asada tacos.. Customer service is good. They are in the same parking lot as vera's market which has alot of good items and a meat market in the back. The last time here i had the asada fries which were good. Parking can be tight. Tacos made with LOVE!!! When the food is bomb, you know it's made with love. They have a variety of meats, my usual go-to's are carne asada and tripa (they make it nice and crispy). What I love about this place is that they put a good amount of meat in each taco, torta, sope, mulita, nachos, just everything. They also have a variety of sauces you can enjoy with your food, from tasty to spicy. The aguas frescas there are super fresh and delicious, you're not going to want to share. The workers there are really nice and welcoming, you can that they're hardworking people. They do get pretty busy on the weekends, sometimes even during the week day, but I like that they also take orders over the phone and it's easy to go and pick up when it is ready. They even have a place to sit and enjoy your food with family or loved ones. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience at Vera's tacos. read more

Solid 4 stars. I have been coming here for years. Tonight the flavor was not all there on the Carne Asada tacos. They would normally get a solid 5 stars. Staff is very friendly and orders are quickly made fresh to order. I was very lucky tonight since there was hardly a line. I have eaten tacos throughout Los Angeles county and this location has some of the best flavorful and authentic Mexican tacos. I will definitely continue coming here for my taco needs read more

All were super tasty but the sope was probably my favorite out of all the stuff I tried. It was crisp on the outside but so soft and light on the inside, they managed to get the perfect consistency. Recently moved to Long Beach from Los Angeles and tried several tacos spot in LBC, some were good but not satisfying. Then I came across this spot! Delicious chicken tacos and burritos. They also have these potatoes tacos tht I was skeptical on but booiii am I glad I gave those a try, those tacos were fire as well. I no longer eat pork so I can't tell y'all how the Al pastor is but I did tried asada tacos and those where delicious as well as juicy. Some taco spots asada is dry but not hear. I thought about this review for a couple of days... as I write this review my gutts rumble and I start to get that vomitting sensation in my gutt. Yes pretty gruesome.. THAT'S exactly how I felt on Sunday evening. Stopped by for some potatoe tacos which were good and a cabeza taco which again just to mention brings the actual moment of putting a piece of meat in my mouth and tasting the spoiled meat and the smell... smelling that meat was the worst .... the instant my taste buds and nose knew it was bad the vomitting began... instantly made me vomit... literally I left those potatoe tacos in parking stall.. I think I may have some food poisoning from it still .. my stomach cringes and gutts hurt .... so Returned to truck and spoke to the older man at the window.. he denied that it was bad ... we told him smell it .. he didn't want to smell the meat and insisted that it wasn't bad and didn't even offer a refund instead insisted it was ok. My stomach still feels a bit queasy I can say he has lost my business ... he showed no care for my concern about food he was serving... bad buisness... Greed! Vera's was great! I tried many types of tacos and they were all great! Really balanced portions for the price. I had the papas, lengua, buche, suadero, and cabeza. Lengua was fantastic, cooked well, soft and flavorful. Not a tough bite. Then I also loved the cabeza which was full of flavor and tender. Definitely coming back for those two. Then the buche and suadero were on the crispier side, but still completely enjoyable and easy to eat. Papas were really good too. One order comes with 4 pieces, but they go down easily. First time trying this spot , I heard it is good but big dissatisfaction, stopped by to get something for the kids after work , first of all let me tell you , saw one if the two employees using her cellphone, not a good impression but figure she was the cashier., wanted to order some Tortas with the vegetables on the side since some of the kids do not eat them , they said they could not do it.
