Let me tell you about this taco truck, not a dang thing that I didn't like!! I ordered a mango habanero aguachiles tostada, 1 surf and turf taco, 1 garlic pulpo octopus taco, and 1 marlin taco. They got my order done within 15 minutes. You see that surf and turf taco? It's almost the size of the container, melty cheese on the bottom, asada was very well seasoned. The marlin and pulpo taco was to die for!! but that pulpo was extremely tender I'm in love. Definitely hit up this place if you can. Beautiful day in Cali, so we ate on the grass in the front yard I'm so mad, I made a video and accidentally deleted it.

Agua-chiles, you'll get more onion than anything and why were they sweet.

Just literally ate here. So not worth the 1 1/2 hr wait. Ordered their 3-4 tostadas of Agua-Chiles, 1 lobster roll $18.00 and two orders of tacos gobernador. The agua-chiles was more like 2 tostadas worth if that and not at all spicy. Los tacos gobernador sucked, more like a soft shrimp taco with no flavor, the lobster roll was served on a hotdog bun. no flavor. Man do I regret spending my money here.

Where do I start found this place on instagram and man does it live up to the hype. Make sure to get the chow mein it's fire. I've never tasted a chow mein like this one before. Also all the ceviches are bomb I'll make sure to hit this spot up again. It made it on my list of must have big shoutout the the mad scientist and his food thank you for this epic experience

This place is a diamond in the rough! I found it through tik tok, the food looked amazing! Came on a busy Friday Night! I was starving but I knew coming in I might have to wait. You enter thru a restaurant door but you walk all the way to the back to find a food truck!! That is a way to get creative! There isn't outdoor tables besides some chairs. Employees were super friendly and accommodating! Hard working and hustling. I wanted the Mariscos Chow Mein that is what drew here in the first place. Felt it too heavy so went with Asada y Camarón. My significant other got a ceviche plate. Waited about 20 mins for my order. Took it home to enjoy. Please if you are coming thru be patient. The food is worth the wait! We will be back soon!

I also highly recommend the camaron Culichi taco and marlin so cheesy and flavorful, I also LOVED the surf and turf taco!! Omg my order came with a little salad and house made salsa and spicy mayo ! I'll be back for sure !

Amazing food. Being freshly done means wait time might be a bit extra but it's worth the wait. Ceviche tropical is our go to plate. They have an indoor sitting area so makes the wait not so bad. DELICIOUS!!!

Wow!! This place was mind-blowing! The mariscos are amazing, the micheladas are delicious, but the best plate for me was the Chowmein!!!! Yes! Chowmein! Reasonable pricing and friendly staff... I would highly recommend this place.

Baja Mexican seafood here we come! @cheladas_la_resaca is service up ceviche, tacos and chow mein. On top of the wonderful flavors from Baja Mexico they are servicing wonderful fusions like their seafood chow mein. If your hungry for delicious seafood then this is the place to check them out.

This is food done right!!! Made fresh to every order, super delicious. Flavor is perfect, also not greedy with the meats, great portions. Located in North Long Beach right off the freeaay, easy commute to and from. Staff is great too. Highly recommended, and will be back very soon to try more too!

We had family in town and needed a last minute reservation on a Sunday for 12 people. The qualifications: AC and delicious food. Panxa Cocina fit all of the above and the entire squad left the restaurant raving about their experience. Our crew shared a bit of everything fried squash, queso, ceviche, enchiladas, and their verde chilaquiles with over easy eggs and chicken. Each of these items were delicious, but I'd return for the ceviche and chilaquiles. The ceviche was a delicious mix of sweet and salty. Their tortilla chips are made fresh in-house and paired perfectly with the fresh cut fish. I was also impressed by their cocktails. With family in town, we visited a number of fan-favorite restaurants across the coastline. Panxa stole the show for best mixed drink: the watermelon margarita. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The wait was well worth it because each dish offered an explosion of flavors. My favorite dish was the birria, with the salmon ceviche as a close second. The mole was great too, but I'd say the other two dishes were more memorable and something I'd return for. I can't recommend the birria enough, as the flavors were reminiscent of what I've had in Mexico, very authentic. The space is small and can feel a bit tight, but sometimes the best food comes from these types of "hole in the wall" places. Ultimately, I'd say give Lola's a try! The soup here lacks the tastebud awakening zip that Don Chato's has. The ono fish taco experience was my fault... I hate fried fish taco, so I had lofty expectations, but due to the fact that I do not prefer corn tortillas, guacamole or raw onions, led to much disappointment since It has all three. Totally my fault. The butternut enchilada was lacking in the expected savoriness... this is being polite. The potato taquito was okay... but I am not a taquito person, so if you are I would seriously encourage you to try it. The star of the table was the Mexican corn. It may not compete with Cornman in Lincoln Heights, but it was decent. I scraped off the onions and toppings on the ono tacos, put the fish on the flour tortillas that another person didn't want, and topped the fish with refried beans, street corn and a but if the chicken tortilla soup broth to make due. When you are driving more than 30 minutes for this experience, I think you would agree that it was less that a proper way to celebrate a birthday. Oh and if there isn't any street parking. It'll cost you about 9 bucks in the lot. I didn't use the restroom, so I cant review its cleanliness. Our waitress was flawless taking orders and delivering food The restaurant itself has a great layout and an outdoor courtyard complete with propane heaters and umbrellas - I loved that... but my favorite part was out front, no not the seating area in the former parking spaces, nope... it was the collapsed woman on the sidewalk, walking her dog with snot running out of her nose because she was huffing some aerosol can of whatever. This truly set the mood upon arrival. Two stars for being close to a lot of other food choices to visit afterward.

Palapa next door offers the same food menu but has more drink options. Many opted for outdoor seating on the terrace due to the gorgeous views, but not wanting to wait we agreed to indoor seating. The interior of the restaurant is also very beautiful. The bathrooms were too dark for my tastes though. Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and anticipating all of our needs (water refills, leftover containers, etc.). Service overall by all staff was friendly. We were actually presently surprised with the taste of the food, thinking it might be more Americanized but they actually had very authentic and tasty totopos (tortilla chips). The tomato salsa that came with the chips was also very refreshing. We asked for hot sauce too and the house habanero salsa really packed a punch! We ordered carne asada nachos, pork belly chilaquiles (from the brunch menu), a breakfast burrito, poke, and steamed clams. The steamed clams came in a rich tomato broth and the breakfast burrito was massive. The poke was just okay and the chilaquiles a bit too soggy for me, and the carne asada nachos a bit dry. Nonetheless, presentation and portion sizes were respectable. The last comment is that food here is quite pricey but that reflects the likely high rent of a restaurant in 2nd and PCH. Ola still exceeded expectations and provided a more than pleasant meal.

First, we asked for a spicier salsa, and we were told that it could only be served with our meal. What's the point of getting the salsa with the meal when we wanted to enjoy it with our chips beforehand? They also used to offer free horchata refills, but apparently that is no longer the case. Unfortunately, they also got our food order wrong. We specifically ordered beef enchiladas, and my husband repeated the order three times, yet we received shrimp enchiladas instead. Overall, the experience just isn't what it used to be. It feels like they are nickel-and-diming customers for everything, even something as simple as salsa or a horchata refill. I understand they are renovating the front of the building, and perhaps the cost of the renovations is contributing to these changes, but the customers shouldn't feel the impact of that. The staff at the front may look nice and presentable, but unfortunately, the overall service doesn't feel as customer-focused as it once did. At this point, I would recommend looking for another restaurant where the service and hospitality are more consistent and where you don't feel like you're being charged for every little thing.

Unfortunately, the huevos rancheros were pretty underwhelming. They came with two over-easy eggs over a tortilla that was very soggy. I personally prefer the tortilla to have some crispness so you can actually bite into it and get that contrast in texture, but this one was completely soft underneath the eggs and sauce. The ranchero sauce itself was very basic and plain. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't anything particularly flavorful or memorable about it. The beans were fine, but I didn't care for the rice. My partner's beef sandwich was actually decent and probably the better of the two dishes, although it still wasn't anything extraordinary. He also ordered a Paloma, but unfortunately that was disappointing as well. He could really taste what seemed like lower-quality alcohol, and overall the drink tasted mostly like watered-down Squirt rather than a well-balanced Paloma. Overall, nothing was necessarily terrible, but the experience was pretty average. I was hoping for more flavor and better textures from the food, and a better-balanced cocktail. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out enough to make the meal memorable. The staff and waiter were nice and pleasant and restrooms were clean.
