Such a great little coffee shop in the neighborhood, and it hasn't even been opened for 2 years. They are thriving in the memorial area and it's wonderful to continue supporting local business. I love visiting independently owned coffee shops and trying various drinks they craft in house. My favorite here being the London fog latte. It is a special bevvie close to my heart and not everyone knows how to make it correctly. I dig the loose leaf earl grey tea blend which they steep in warmed foamy milk. They add a fragrant vanilla syrup to the bevvie (which is typically added to a London fog). They array of flavors and aroma made me happy. Bergamot flavour is sharp and on point. Sipping on this gray colored latte on a gray & rainy day brought forth a cosy appeal. Coffee drinks are nice as well; such as the brown sugar latte. The brown sugar syrup is also made in house. Surprisingly the drink is not that sweet which is great. Asking to add cinnamon to the drink really brings out the brown sugar flavour. Cappuccinos are solid as well. I look forward to revisiting and trying the sliced loaf cakes and croissants that are delivered from a local bakery. The interior is all woodsy with tan colored furniture. It reminds me of Scandinavia. Sometimes they have popups with various cafe businesses, such as Koffeteria. Always fun to see what goes on with the neighborhood cafe. Until next time. read more

So, quiet little shop. Kind of hard to see from kirkwood and memorial intersection. None the less, my Sweet Cream Cold Brew was the best I've had since cold brews came out. My wife's Iced Mocha latte with a extra shot (comes with 2) will wake you the F$%& up. Only irritant, the largest size cups were 16oz. I am new to the area, but after today's visit I plan on making Verbena my new neighborhood coffee shop. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful to me in selecting a drink. I was also impressed by the grace and poise exhibited by one of these ladies in diffusing conflict with a disgruntled customer regarding the shop's mask policy. At the time of writing this review, Verbena requires customers to wear masks unless seated and enjoying their coffee and pastries. This is their prerogative and if you disagree I would respectfully suggest you attend another shop until their policy changes. read more

Great vibes and really peaceful place to do work or study. However, the quality of drinks is HEAVILY dependent on who is working that day. The guy that often works makes great coffee but one of the days he did not work, I came in and the drink was not the best. Immensely sweet and way too much caramel that I could not completely drink my caramel macchiato. Vibes are A+ but coffee is dependent on who is behind the counter. I found this place randomly through my phone and on Yelp. It was the closest coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks. I stopped and got an iced lavender latte with oat milk and a slice of coffee cake. I will say - the latte is creamy and well balanced and not overly sweet. The lavender is settle. If you like more sugary and sweet - I suggest add vanilla or ask for extra lavender syrup. I loved it just the way they made it. The coffee cake - I got it heated up and it's soooo delicious! I will definitely be back with my sister next time. In a fairly nondescript shopping center, but once you walk in this is a great spot to hang out for a bit. A few table scattered, a couch, wood paneled walls. Order at the counter. This is a really quaint and lovely coffeeshop that you can miss if you blink too quickly! I often come in and see others studying or reading quietly. There are outlets on all the walls and the bar facing the windows. There are full-service restrooms and great coffee here, as well as some light snacks. Finally a nice quiet coffeeshop in this area, with a good coffee. The staff were very nice girls. The atmosphere is quiet and clean(at least for now since its new) and the decor is very nice as well. I got an iced latte and they do have Oat Milk which is A++. Different seating options and a very nice couch. I'd recommend it for studying or reading a good book with a cup of coffee. They also had banana breads made there that were delicious. I hope they do well so they can stay in the neighborhood.
