What a cute space to do work in the Spring Branch area! There is also a drive-through in the back for quick to-go service. I loved the windows bringing in the natural light, there were so many tables (each with outlets!), and the music was also a nice touch. This space is so customer and work-friendly with the wifi password on every table or in visual line of sight, which makes you feel welcome and productive. The baristas are also sooo nice and willing to give recommendations for your first time. The honey coconut latte was delicious and a great recommendation. It is a little sweet for my liking but they are able to adjust sweetness level too. Overall, a wonderful cafe for your study or work needs!
Update: their new spring menu is so good! I've come back and had their mango matcha about 5 times in the past 3 weeks. I'm obsessed. Everyone that works here is still super sweet. My friend tried an iced vanilla latte today and she said it was really good, definitely less bitter now. It's quickly become one of my favorite spots!
"Everyone is so friendly here!"...literally my first sentence upon arrival. From the exterior this spot doesn't look like much, but I'm so glad I went inside instead of going through the drive thru. The beauty of this spot is the service and setup. From kiddos in booths with their parents, to high schoolers enjoying a date night, to studying students and more, so many types of patrons filtered through this spot on the day of my visit. I kept my coffee pretty simple with a peppermint mocha. Craving everything sweet I also had a strawberry cheese danish. They both did the job, but more impressive than the coffee was the ample selection of options from seasonal favorites to build your own matcha. As far as the seating, although they were both taken, the back of the shop houses two covered booth, perfect for those attempting to finish work without distraction. Near the booths you'll find a conventional open floorplan, but I chose to sit in the area beyond that, with comfy cosy living room chairs. Caffeine, sugar, and a cozy environment served with a smile are the ways to my heart and this spot delivered on all three. I'll be back soon!
I finally stopped by Bean Theory, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. This is such a thoughtfully designed neighborhood coffee shop cute without being overdone, cozy but still functional if you actually need to get work done. First off, the space itself is a vibe. The semi-private booth seating is super cute and surprisingly comfortable, making it easy to settle in with a laptop for a few hours. I also loved that they have games available at the tables if you're meeting up with friends or just want something fun to do while hanging out. Bonus points for the music playlist!!!! It really set the tone and made the space feel relaxed but upbeat. Food and drinks were excellent. I ordered the pesto mozzarella chicken sandwich, and it was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy, definitely one I'd reorder. For my drink, I did a Build-Your-Own Matcha with strawberry flavor and strawberry cold foam, and wow. Genuinely so good. The balance was perfect, not overly sweet, super creamy, and very well crafted. If you're a matcha person, this is a must-try. Overall, Bean Theory feels like one of those places you can come to for a quick coffee, a work session, or a relaxed catch-up with friends and it works for all of it. Cute space, great menu options, solid food, and a really welcoming atmosphere. I'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a go-to local coffee spot.
This is the coffee shop next to a Discount Tires. It's a very spacious location where you can meet with friends, do work or just spend time alone. The young ladies were nice, and provided good service. I opted for the specialty, Strawberry Matcha Green Tea Latte I like the fact that they have a 48 oz cup option. lol. The bakery items looked slightly dry so I am not sure if I will try them in the future. I will definitely come back to try a coffee option.
This is a cute and cozy coffee store right off of Long Point Road. My friend and I visited here before Halloween and the inside was very well decorated! There are a good number of tables and couches for customers to sit down and/or study. The menu has so many fun flavors to choose from! I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte with Biscoff foam on top and my friend ordered a honey signature latte. The service here is fantastic- the barista who took our order was very welcoming and helped me out when I was struggling to figure out what I wanted to order. Both drinks were delicious! I did ask for half the sweetness but I'm not sure if I was able to get that because the drink was still very sweet. Tasted great though! One little thing I wish was different was the back door located next to the booths. When the door closes, it slams pretty hard and makes a loud bang noise. Other than that, great service, wonderful vibes, and delicious coffee! Looking forward to coming back and trying other drinks on the menu.

As far as the space goes, I really like the interior, there's lots of windows and the general design is cozy enough to want to stick around and enjoy your coffe in. There's a drive thru if you don't Have the time to go inside. The standard coffee syrup flavors are there for latte lovers like myself. There's also a build your own matcha part of the menu that seems to be pretty unique, I didn't get involved in that just yet. Thought my drink was ok, it's an iced latte so not a ton of room for wow factor. Food options are also available, but looking behind the glass counter made me think that many of the food options are premade and later heated up. It's a missed opportunity to me, looks like there's a reasonable kitchen that could have a couple really well defined made to order options.

Bean Theory has officially become my new favorite coffee shop! The employees here are some of the sweetest I've ever encountered -- truly KIND, which is so rare these days. I honestly haven't been to a coffee shop where I was this impressed with the service. Everyone made me and my mom (who was in town this weekend) feel so welcomed that we ended up going every single day! Now the drinks. I tried their Biscoff latte (a specialty) and wow -- absolutely delicious! I also had their honey latte with oat milk and it was just as amazing. Both drinks were so flavorful, balanced, and comforting without being overly sweet. The food was a hit too. Their feta + spinach croissant was incredible -- and speaking as a Greek girl who can usually tell if spinach is frozen, I honestly couldn't tell because it was that good! Their butter croissant was also flaky and delicious. Everything I tried was so fresh and satisfying. The price point is very fair for the quality, and the shop itself is spacious -- perfect for a work day with plenty of seating and a good-sized parking lot. And as a bonus, they even have a drive-thru, which is a game-changer on busy mornings. Bean Theory has truly won me over with both their coffee and their kindness. I can't wait to go back, try more of their special lattes, and work my way through more of the baked goods. 100% recommend this gem!
Get the Biscoff Latte!!! Bean Theory took over PJ coffee. They have so many flavor options and Cold foam options as well (Lavender, brown sugar, strawberry and more). Plenty of seating indoors and space to study or work. Biscoff Latte was really good. The cold foam that comes with it paired really well with the coffee. delicious spot! i tried the blueberry matcha, and the foam is made fresh in house. i like that they offer a "build your own matcha" with ample options such as peach, mango, blueberry, strawberry, etc. plenty of seating- looks small on the outside but spacious on the inside with trendy decor. i would return to try their other drinks. they offer a variety of seasonal drinks, and the workers were so nice.
My husband and I try a new coffee shop every Friday and this was next on our list to try. They have plenty of indoor seating and a drive through for quick access. Came here to say after a walk at memorial park. My friends and I love to try new coffee spots and it's always a plus when they actually have food and not only pastries. Parking was difficult to find because it was a Saturday but they said it's usually not bad during the week. The loaded bagel sandwich was so good! The bread was soft with a good flavor and the bacon & turkey sausage complemented each other well. One of my friends had bean and cheese tacos and she mentioned it was a nice touch to have with black beans instead of refried. The biscoff latte was highly recommended in the Yelp reviews and I am a biscoff girly so I figured I'd start there. 10/10. O also had a lemon poppy seed muffin. Super moist and decadent, enough to share!! I'm not crazy about matcha but for those that are you are able to cyo, by selecting your flavor syrup and cold foam with tons of creations available. They also have some staff favs if you're in the mood for something different! ** I subbed my milk for pistachio (never had before) and it was a nice touch So many seating options from booths, couches to tables. I stopped by for my first time on 12/22/25, I ordered the peppermint hot chocolate. It's nice to know that they have seasonal flavors rather than just the regular items, along with the drink I was asked what milk option I would like and if I wanted whipped cream. The order did not take long to come out but I was the only one ordering at the time. The space is large and they do also have WiFi available. read more

I haven't yet found a coffee shop in spring branch that I love so I was excited to try this spot out. I saw they had a biscoff latte and I love cookie butter so of course I got that. I like how they were able to adjust the sweetness for me since I don't like my drinks too sweet. The latte wasn't bad but there wasn't anything that really stood out to me. The shop itself is spacious and could be a good spot to do some work at for those that are looking for that. read more

Ambiance: The photos on Yelp really don't do this place justice! The interior is beautiful and welcoming, with a cozy and thoughtfully designed layout. There are two booths right by the entrance that are perfect for working quietly while enjoying your coffee. Seating options are varied two bar-height tables, a large communal table great for hanging out with friends, and a few comfortable couches with two- and four-seater setups. The lighting is warm and inviting, complemented by plenty of natural light during the day. We visited during the Halloween season, and the decorations were absolutely adorable! Service: The staff were friendly and accommodating. I also had the chance to chat with the owners such lovely and genuine people. Coffee & Pastries: The coffee was strong and well-balanced, without any acidity exactly how we like it. They offer a nice variety of drinks, including sugar-free syrup options, which is a big plus. Their pastry selection is solid, and I appreciate that everything is baked in-house rather than brought in from elsewhere. My only small suggestion would be to add clear labels for each pastry item. Overall: This is a wonderful coffee shop in an area where you wouldn't necessarily expect to find one. We'll definitely be returning often! I'd love to see them introduce a rewards or points system for regulars in the future. read more

We really enjoyed our visit to this coffee shop! The coffee was strong without being acidic, which is a big plus. For those wondering, they also have sugar-free syrups. The space is lovely. Plenty of seating, including two big, beautiful booths. The retro style is charming, and the mural plus lots of greenery make it feel welcoming and fresh. It's spacious, so you don't feel crammed. There are games for entertainment if you want to just hang out with friends. We came here with our daughter for a quick morning stop, and it was perfect. She wasn't overstimulated. The staffs were friendly and efficient, getting our drinks quickly. They also have a nice assortment of food items, from pastries to salads, giving plenty of options to pair with your coffee. Overall, a relaxing, family-friendly spot with great coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Lastly, they have a drive through. read more
New coffee shop in spring branch. Service is pretty good and baristas are friendly. They also have a drive through option which is pretty convenient though I chose to go inside. I ordered an iced caramel latte. It came in this cute sized curved cup which is aesthetically pleasing and topped with a nice layer of whipped cream. The drink was pretty good in my opinion! Nice amount of sweetness. Not the strongest caffeine wise (as most lattes are mostly milk anyway) so I'd probably order an extra shot or expresso and I think it'd be perfect! I also tried the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast taco which I enjoyed and their parfait. Prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth trying out and supporting small businesses! read more

I've been to this location before when it was formally PJ's so I knew that this place will have plenty of seating space and good lightning. I was convinced to come here because I saw their posts on TikTok. I am a matcha person but I wanted to give their Bischoff Coffee a try, and I was excited! The cold foam looked creamy and the latte was the correct color but I took my first sip and I was highly disappointed and unsatisfied. It was just strong coffee, I had the belief it'll taste sweet or even like caramel, but it just tasted like regular, run of the mill coffee. I would come here again to try their matcha, but based on others reviews, I might not. Other than that, the service was speedy and nice ! read more
If I am being completely honest, this place had so much potential. I saw on social media how they had good matcha. The color looked like a perfect green on their TikTok, but for some reason, their matcha is not that amazing..... The color is way off first of all. Taste wise, it only tastes like milk. My favorite things about BT are the staff, feel of the place, and the quality of the products. As soon as I walk in, I feel very welcome; they remember my name and what I ALWAYS get (I'm not adventurous with my choices)! Hidden gem! Warm and welcoming, Bean Theory was the perfect place for this morning's latte and chai. Courteous and friendly staff, great selection of tasty treats, and a deliciously smooth rich latte. Perfect for this chilly holiday weather! They have a great variety of seating: plush chairs and a sofa, secluded booths ensconced under private arches, upholstered high-back banquettes, high tops, and the typical tables/chairs. Whatever your preference, you'll be comfortable. Clean and bright, quality products, and high-caliber staff. Bean Theory's a keeper. read more

The service is so good there. The drinks are awesome. The food taste good but they burnt the biscuit and this thing is extremely tiny and that's coming from someone who had bariatric surgery or maybe I was just hungry.
