Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes and no one even greeted me. Several people were waiting ahead of me. Finally, one of the guys ahead of me asked a question and the verizon employee complained that he is working on his day off and he shouldn't even be there. Didn't even answer the guy's question. Nobody looked like they were in any hurry to take care of customers. The only guy actually serving customers was on the phone with other verizon employees getting help that he needed to help him support the customer that was sitting at his desk. NOT a Verizon store, but "Cellular Sales", a 'Authorized Verizon retailer. which explains a lot. Needed a new phone and to change my phone plan, promptly told me that they couldn't help with the plan - first red flag, but since the signage says Verizon, I was left confused. So now I have to call Verizon again (had already called and they told me I could fix my plan in the store...). Rep was nice enough but told me that syncing my info to my phone was in-process when I left, everything was being downloaded from the cloud. When I got home a few hours later, none of that had happened and I spent the next few hours sorting it out. Also, none of their accessories were genuine Apple accessories, so I ended up going straight to the Apple store anyway. Either find a real Verizon store or get your phone straight from Apple to save the hassle. read more

I decided to leave and go to another Verizon store. He could've gotten the commission on me upgrading but I guess I was taking too long to decide. I was only with him for 10 minutes. Patience is key. This was the best Verizon store I have ever been to. Adrian and Leslie were fast and amazing!

This sign was hanging from the door and when I tried to open the door it was locked just like the sign says. So I was standing outside for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to open the door when I see four employees just sitting on their ass. I realized there was another door with the same sign on it when I pulled on it, it opened. Instead of these pricks notifying me that there was another door they let me stand outside for 10 minutes when I have to get back to work. It would of been helpful if they put a sign on the other door that said please use other door. When I came in they gave me attitude as if helping me as a chore!! Hello it's your job. My Granddaughter lives in Fort Lauderdale and I am the account owner in Columbus, Ohio, Jason called me from Verizon and asked me if my Granddaughter was able to upgrade her phone. He was very curtis asked me my security questions I had set up. I gave him permission to let her upgrade. We have been with Verizon before it was Verizon over 22 years. We made the mistake once of leaving for At& t for 6 months the worst service every. with verizon I have never experienced a problem that they weren't able to make a quick Friendly fix or a replacement. I went into Delray Cellular sales on 1900 South Federal Highway to get help with a new Apple watch and have them connect it to cellular on my phone. I am not very savvy about technology. Anthony helped me was incredibly patient, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt I got exceptional service. He helped me with setting up a new phone and explained all my options. I just tried to pick up and usb-c to lightning cable charger. There were 4 employees working with customers to pick out phone plans for them. not one employee said a word to me. After 5 min, I asked one of the employees if I could quickly check out since I just needed to pay. he said "that wouldn't be possible" and didn't apologize or even look up from his computer screen to acknowledge me. Absolutely terrible customer service. I've been a Verizon customer for 20+ years. I've bought my last 2 cellphones from this location. Currently, my cell will only connect sporadically to my laptop and when it does it can't find the pics & etc. that are there, that I need to download (this was working just a month ago???). Went to this store to see if they could show me how to get the connection to work and etc. First, they didn't care about my cell problems. Second, they didn't want to help. Third, all they wanted to do was sell me a new cell. Fourth, they had a terrible attitude. If and when I buy a new cell it will not be with this store. I wanted to give this Verizon Cellular Sales store less than 1 star, but we aren't given the option in this review. The sales team is kind of friendly prior to any confirmed sales. But, they are clearly taught to only think about the sale, not the customer and for sure not customer service!!! Initially, when we purchased our phone in November 2018 there were employees in the store (who were not working with customers), telling jokes and very loudly conversing with each other about their holiday drinking. It was distracting and beyond the point of professionalism. We still purchased several devices and accessories. Months later, I dropped my phone and the $40 (with the amazing warranty) screen protector cracked. Still under warranty, I took the phone to this location (a little out of the way, but 3 other locations wouldn't honor anything that was purchased at this store). I was told that they switched internal computer software packages and lost all their records. They saw me as a Verizon customer for 20 years, but did not show any purchases from them. So, I would have to purchase another protector for $40. $40 is not the end of the world, but, I paid for the warranty intentionally. I have really never so strongly regretted making a purchase, as much as I do, now! The sales person I spoke to was polite at first. When I responded by saying that was unacceptable, he began to get his back up. At that point, we both did. I left very upset and angry. No one should leave a store feeling that way. It was the absolute worst experience. I have had my doubts about Verizon to begin with. After being a 20+ year customer, we almost switched in November, but were convinced to stay on. Not again! The horrible, rip-off, scamming experience with the store on 1900 S. Federal Hwy, Delray Beach has convinced me (again)... to reconsider Verizon and never again will we purchase anything from this location!!! I highly recommend that anyone considering going into this location, think twice and save yourself the aggravation. You will find a much better experience elsewhere. read more

I stopped in because I had been having trouble with the battery on my Iphone 7. Being a retired senior, I happen to be technologically challenged and was unaware that Apple had a replacement program. A salesperson claiming to be a regional manager explained that I was just one of many who had come in recently with this issue and had to upgrade to the 8. He looked me up and told me about all the deals available to me because I had been with Verizon for many years. He stated thethat the battery could not be replaced and that Apple had fixed the problem on the 8. He then proceeded to repeatedly try to sell me the Iphone 8,offering all kinds of deals and packages. Since my phone is less than a year old, I didn't feel I should buy a new phone for $700, the deal, I was being offered. When I got home, I went online and found out about the $29 replacement program. Called and have an appointment for a free replacement battery because it is less then a year old. I called the store back and asked the regional manager about it and he told me all about it, but never told me why he didn't tell me about it when I was in the store. If I go back, which probably won't happen, I will remember that being honest with long term customers is not a priority. read more

The Perfected scam...I took my daughter into this store in Delray Beach Florida (1900 S. Federal Hwy )prepared to give her my old iPhone and to set her already existing number to my phone. Miguel, the sales rep, looked at the account associated with her number and said "you are eligible for a free phone upgrade due to 23 years length of service etc." So, I asked more than once, "a free phone how can that be and with no change of monthly service!?" He proceeded to tell me that it was free and the monthly bill will not even change. This account was my ex father in law's account to which he had 5 lines and 5 phones with longevity of service. On my promoting, since it wasn't my account, I had Miguel call him and he asked the same questions as I did and he was satisfied with the answers he got from Miguel. Miguel gave me two phone options for this promotion where I had picked an LG smart phone. Never was the price of the phone EVER discussed because, Im assuming, that this would give away that it really was not free . It was discussed that all I would have to do to walk out the door with the phone is to pay the taxes. I paid a very large amount in taxes, purchased a screen protector and case, said thank you and left. About 4 days later, I got a call from my ex inlaws saying that they had a charge on their bill for the phone in the amount of $600.00. One would think that this would be explained prior to purchasing a new phone. Had I known this, I would have just had her number put on my old iPhone and been done. I am not one to write reviews but I feel compelled to let other people know. At least there is a safety net of 14 days to bring the phone back. My daughter is disappointed, I am extremely inconvenienced and my ex in laws are quite upset. Verizon Wireless should be careful being associated with this group. read more
