My phone flew off the cars roof probably around 70-75 MPH. Once we realize the phone was missing we had to use find my friends to locate the phone. It was located off the side of Route 24 & the entire screen was completely destroyed. We went to Verizon to purchase a new phone and the kid who activated the new phone completely screwed it up. All my emails, messages and contacts were gone. I went to Verizon wireless in Swansea and because I don't use iCloud back up my only hope was to have the phone repaired. Cove serviced the Fender twice, only charging for parts the second time, and fixed up my head (redoing old connections, replacing some switches that were worn out, reconnecting equalizers that didn't work, and put in an internal ground) all for under $100. He also advised me on the best approach for fixing my cabinet. The current had fried the speaker cones beyond repair and he suggested some options for replacement. All told this took about a week to complete and cost much less than it would to replace the cabinet. Bonus points for his knowledge on all things related to vintage amps. If you're interested (and probably if you're not) you can get a history lesson on tube manufacturers. Maybe this is a symptom of newer musicians' obsession with tube amplifiers and lack of knowledge about caring for them, but he also went into great detail about how to keep things functioning.

I ended up purchasing a $60 model for only $30 in addition to a brand new case and screen protector for my phone, both of which the manager kindly installed for me for free. And because I bought so much, the manager threw in a second free portable charger as well! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for any phone accessories or cases in the Providence area. Just a month and a half after installation, the ice maker stopped working. They attempted to repair it four different times before finally discovering the issue was a faulty motor. During this frustrating process, we had to spend over $400 for a replacement refrigerator because they didn't have anything available in our original price range. On top of that, they charged us $140 for plumbing work and tried to blame us for the malfunction, suggesting it was a faulty water valve. In the end, it was confirmed to be a motor issue -- not anything we had done wrong. What made this even worse was the lack of support and accountability from the store. I had to take time off work for every repair visit, and at no point did they try to make it right or offer any meaningful help. When I shared this experience with a friend, she told me she went through almost the exact same thing and ended up stuck with a fridge that had a non-working ice maker. We will never shop here again. A few years ago I came to resolve an issue with one of my laptop drives to check if they would fix, come to find out that my laptop had over 300 VIRUSES of all kinds and not to mention that they rolled back from Windows 10 to Windows 7, basically they already grabbed an infected hard drive with Windows 7 installed and replaced it with my old drive. Years later and I came in to fix a phone because it wasn't charging, it was plain and simple, all you had to do was plug in the cable back due to all the drops that happened which ended up disconnecting the cable connection that allows the phone to charge. So the guy decided to make up this story about how the battery was BLOWN or EXPANDED which is why it wasn't charging... they would be able to fix it by switching the batteries on another phone I had with me, the cost would be [$40] just for this simple fix, he then proceeds to say that it will take about an HOUR to switch batteries... 1 hour later and I came back with a person that said: "So we found out that nothing was wrong and that your charger plug was just simply disconnected, normally we would charge [$60] but since the fix was just to plug it back in we'll just charge you [$20]" Well that's quite hilarious I must say, $20 just to plug a cord back in. What was all the work for the $20? A simple detachment of the back cover, and just plug in the wire/cord, yep fork over those $20 now. At most I'd give $10 for a simple fix as that and at minimum $5. But to figure out they were going to uproot the price from $40 to $60 is just a plain scam. I'll also mention the fact that they decided to take out the magnet and try to keep it to themselves or perhaps even throw away because it wouldn't STICK BACK into the phone's back cover. The only thing I'll say about this place, thank you to the guy who was chill when handing over the phone, compared to the guy that took me in who seemed like he was arguing/yelling at me. Do I recommend this place for anyone? HELL NO, there's better places out there. 8/100
