I have been over charged for over a year now. I have called and visited the store DOZENS of times. I was told management would contact me and they never do. I have called Verizon customer service and they send me back to the store. I have to continue to be over charged or they shut my phone off for not paying.The staff is great but there hands are tied. Management refuses to deal with the problem. It appears only a lawsuit will get their response. I would not recommend going to cellular sales Verizon. Go to a corporate store. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Mike (with hair) Abbruzzese as my Verizon specialist. Mike was incredible in every way. He was patient, thorough in explaining every detail and outlined all the costs I would incur to avoid surprises, and he was more than willing to stay well past his work hours to finish our transactions. He also knew all the questions I asked and went above and beyond to help me. Mike has been one of the BEST Sales Rep. I have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with (in any industry). Went in to inquire about adding a line for an Apple Watch for my elderly Mother who won't use a cell phone but could use the fall protection of a watch along with the limited call and texting. Was lucky to be served by Kay who was about as professional and pleasant as a customer rep could be. I had my four year old iPhone XS with me and was astonished to find out I could upgrade to an iPhone 14 Pro with an $800 credit by turning in my old phone (on the Apple site it was nearly worthless). The transfer was seamless. I'll get the watch in a week or two on a Monday when Kay works (even though I'll still have to order a stretchy band from Apple). March 16th 2021. I had a terrible costumer experience. I am 53 and the older attendant that seemed like the manager to me. He spoke to us as if we were 5 years old and he was in a very bad mood. He asked us to wait (40 min) and then he just came to say he couldn't help us, he didn't even try. This is the worst customer service I have ever encounterEd. I live in Portsmouth and this store is in a very convenient location 5 minutes from my home. We will not visit This store any more. We will go to another less convenient Verizon center where they will treat us properly next time. I only gave them one star because it is not possible to give them 0 stars. read more

My experience with this retailer was frustrating, confusing and disappointing. 1) They are fast-talkers, getting you to buy by confusing you. 2) they said they would return my used phone to Verizon for a credit of over $500, but sent it via FedEx rather than UPS. This caused Verizon to not open the box and not credit me, now two months and two overcharged Verizon bills later. I called them to solve this. No response. I emailed the salesman who created this problem. No response. I've now spent over five hours with Verizon - itself a nightmare - first being told to go again to this dealer. I refused, and then found out from Verizon that they had never opened the box at their Ft. Worth facility, so never gave me credit. Now, the charge has been 'put on hold,' that is, removed from my bill until it gets resolved. The reason we get phones from Verizon is that they supposedly have the best coverage, and this seems to be true. But, their system - from contracting with sub-par retailers who are allowed to put the Verizon logo on their store therefore confusing these retailers with the Verizon outlets themselves - (which have been great to work with), is, from my experience, a mess. read more

I needed to upgrade two iPhones on our Verizon plan and we are new to the area. I knew of the Cellular Sales location on 11 East Main Rd in Middletown RI and did some research. I was pleasantly surprised that they had great reviews on Google. I typically go directly to a Verizon store, so I was a bit hesitant but decided to give them a try based in the favorable reviews. We arrived and there were 2 other customers in store being helped. As we waited (a short time) we watched and listened as Rene finished helping the customer before us. The customer was elderly and not very "tech" savvy. He didn't really know how to use his phone (not even to start/end a call or search Google). We watched while Rene soooo patiently and pleasantly helped the elderly customer and we were very impressed. Then it was our turn and we were very lucky to have Rene Sanchez help us - he was GREAT. Friendly, knowledgeable, personable and patient! He helped us select the right phone, reviewed the new plan/payments and transferred all data from our old phones to the new phones. He even helped us with turning in our old phones for a credit which we used to partially pay for some accessories (protectors and cases). Thanks Rene Sanchez! Kristian Ivy at the Middletown, RI store was amazing to work with. I had dropped my I Phone 8 in some water and it did not recover. I was 2 payments away from NO Payments... LOL... I guess it was time for a new phone. She helped me set up my new I Phone 11 and was fast and efficient. Plus we had some pleasant conversations about the world at large. All these guys know is how to sell. I called about replacing a battery in my phone and a Jason told me "Smartphone batteries can not be replaced," yet on the Verizon web site one of the features of my phone is that it has a replaceable battery. read more
