Absolutely amazing, above and beyond service. My wife and I recently moved to the area from the Dallas metroplex and because of (lack of) signal from our cell provider needed to change to a carrier with more robust coverage. We worked with Cassie, and Verizon, if you're monitoring your Yelp reviews, you need to give Cassie a raise. She is amazing! Not only was she able to help us find the exact phones we wanted, she even came in on her day off to get the order placed after a snafu with a credit lock we had with Experian (that's another review for Experian, and it most certainly won't be 5 stars). Once the phones arrived we worked with Cassie to activate the new phones, port over our numbers and swap out a SIM in an iPad. She ensured that all numbers were working and thoroughly tested each device and ensured everything was working and that the iCloud restore completed on all devices. Warning! This is NOT a Verizon Corporate Store. The True name of this business is Cellular Sales of Knoxville or STTT-Taylor This store is not like a traditional Verizon Corporate store but was like visiting a used car lot. 1. The phones are much cheaper direct from Verizon online or the Corporate store in Roundrock. 2. They charge a 35.00 to 39.00 set up fee and lied to me telling me this was Verizon's usual activation fee. It is not. They are charging an additional junk fee and you will be charged by verizon on your next statement for activation. so your paying 75.00 for activation. 3. They told me i could get double to 3 times the trade in value of your old phone if you take it to the Corporate store (20 miles away) and the total would be spread over 24 months, reducing your new phone payment. This was a lie, the Trade in value is the same and comes as a credit or gift card. This store must loose money taking in trades or are using this ploy to make you think your new phone will cost you less 4. Bait and switch, they claimed they could only give an estimate and nothing in writing as to your new monthly bill, but when I got my first bill, it was twice the estimate and no credits are given months for phone trade and additional activation fees appear. 5. They sell used or opened phones and claim they are new. This rep disappeared to the back of the store and brought out just a phone. no box. I later discovered the headphones we're also missing. According to Verizon & Apple policy, the rep should bring you an unopened box, and either let you open it, or open it in front of you. Another Bait and switch. 6. Complaints to management did nothing, as they told me they were refunding the "activation fee" but never did. Save yourself time, money and aggravation and shop Verizon Direct. Before shopping at any Verizon store front Verify it is really a Corporate store and not one of these resellers. read more

SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! .I have been back to this store 3 times to attempt to get the deal I was sold but never fully explained. Each detail I questioned was ignored or glossed over....simple questions like "what will my total monthly bill be" I had explained that I'm 70, on Social Security, had to watch every penny, but was attempting to transfer a family plan from AT&T due to poor reception where I lived ... After much "Cobbling together a plan " (hours in the store) they had pieced together a 55plus deal plus a prepaid phone that was supposed to mirror my AT&T bill of $131 per month....if I agreed to buy 1 phone for my son at a great promotional price of $350 off /$21 per month,& purchased a cheap Samsung prepaid phone for $130 ...at the end of 2 hrs - I had been charged $398 (taxes on my son's phone/my cheap prepaid phone) $70 "set up fee" plus $80 for a screen protector and case (had no idea I could have gotten them from Walmart for $15). Instead of the $30 per month prepaid charge, they set me up on $55 per month because it had more data Gigs (I had been extremely clear that I didn't need much data - just used Google Maps if I got lost...)plus they charged me $35 per phone just to go in the storage room and bring me a phone - I was charged a $70 set up fee (handing me the phones) - which is in addition to the $80 Activation Fee ..... After all of the driving back and forth (40 miles) , I called Verizon Customer Service, after a 20 minute hold, I explained my problem of not knowing what my monthly bill was going to be - the Customer Service rep explained that it was $202 ---not even close to the $131 AT&T charge and that the promotion they sold me wasn't effective until 4 days after I bought/paid $400/ the only way to get the promotion was to return the phone/have them cancel the original transaction/ and to buy it again at the promotional price since it's now in effect....Verizon Cus tomer Service graciously agreed to waive the $50 restocking fee they charge if you return a phone. I now have the same poor reception (country living), a $130 phone I didn't need,$200 monthly phone bill, and am out $70 "in set up fees" , $80 in activation fees and $80 in "phone case/screen protector" that I could have purchased for $15 at Walmart all because I went in to talk to them about their Senior 55 Plus Program (2 lines "unlimited data" $90) SENIORS BEWARE!!!!!! read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible Service! I waited nearly 2 hours to get help! Only two employees and they were super super slow! As I was waiting I saw one employee charge a customer an extra dollar for paying her bill with cash. (Wow!) I saw the other employee smooth talk another customer out of getting the phone that customer really wanted. ( tsk tsk) By the time I finally got someone to help me they couldn't help me and told me to call Verizon Customer Service. I will NEVER go back to Taylor, Texas, Verizon Store again...even if it means I have to drive to Austin or just CALL Customer Service, which I have always done, BECAUSE, I kid you not, they give better deals and they know their stuff so the transactions are always smooth, easy, and quick. read more
