I visited the Verizon store at the Stonehill location in Pflugerville, TX around 12:35 p.m. today and was very upset to the point of near tears by the lack of basic customer service. I was in the store for some time before anyone greeted me, except for the guys who said he liked my hoodie. When another customer came in after me, the representative Anthony told me to sit down while he immediately began helping the other customer instead. He didn't check me in or ask me my name. He seemed like he was being bias in a number of areas. When I address this with him, he was dismissive no apologies. That experience left me feeling overlooked and profiled. I didn't expect to leave a Verizon store feeling dismissed, but that's exactly how I felt. I won't be returning to this location and hope management addresses how customers are acknowledged and treat people no matter who they are. We needed new phones, and we dreaded it. Getting new phones is equivalent to car shopping for me...way too long, and lots of paperwork. We were fed up with AT&T, their service was hideous at our house. Whenever we were without power (no modem/Wi-Fi) we were essentially cut off from the world. From our house, we could not call, text, or search the web. This was especially fun when we were trapped for a week with snowmageddon. I reluctantly agreed to go with my husband, expecting an evening of trying to block up-sells from the salesmen, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Brenden helped us and we could not be more pleased with his service. Yes, we were in there for 90 minutes, but he did everything for us setting up our three new phones. We received an excellent deal, and we were so thrilled when we returned home (after we went for margaritas to celebrate our hard work ) to have four bars at our house. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. We waited at least 30 minutes for someone to help us, only to have another person walk in the door and be helped within 5 minutes. We were told "it's an issue he can fix quickly" so that person was helped ahead of us. WOW. The other employee was having a conversation about video games with his customers which was delaying anyone else being helped.. We've been loyal Verizon customers for over 15 years. This is unacceptable. Better training and more oversight of this location is urgently needed. read more

But do you think she could help me...? NO! I told her well I guess you dont have a solution after all. She said I needed to call tech support. Absolutely horrible corporation. Look it up under Liars and Thieves. My $1,000 trade in has gone (after hours of effort) with the wind. Yesterday I visited this office. Verizon has already forced me to give them a card number so they can take money without asking (faster every month), yet they charge an extra $10 a month if you are not fool enough to give them direct access to your bank account. Anyway the trip yesterday resulted in taking 45 minutes at the store. My purpose was to lower my $118 bill that was originally promised, without paperwork at $107. I went in to get the trade in value that I had actually already forgotten about until yesterday. It was now $800. The store gentleman worked on the account for a long time. Then said the credit was to be divided by 36 months and deducted from the regular price. Of course, if I leave the over priced Verizon all the promised credit will disappear. Today I got an email letting me know what next month's bill will be. Verizon did not do what the in store person said. The price that started out at $107, then went to $118, with gibberish excuses. The helpful store had managed to hand my account off to corporate, they bumped my (discounted) monthly price to $132.64, it said the month after that the bill would be $139,++. Verizon appears to be little more than a con artist that steals from its customers. Corporate, not the folks who are in the stores. I can get the same service from Consumer Cellular and several other companies, but Verizon has done slight of hand and trapped me from being able to quit them without robbing me even more. Beware the corporation operates on Lies and deliberate Thievery. read more

Update: I have changed phone companies, got a new phone at a great price, since Verizon FAILED BIG TIME to take care of me as a long time customer. The newly remodeled store is very nice, but the person who "helped" us had no customer service skills. He talked really fast and was pretty dismissive of our questions or concerns. Verizon does not care if you wish to transfer data from your old phone to a new one. We were told we should have had a backup already, and if the backup was not good we were on our own. Only after insisting we would not leave until the data was transferred successfully, did he back off. In the future we will order a new phone for delivery to the house so we can transfer the data on our own terms and send back when we are sure everything is good. read more

I really don't think that the reps at this store care about the customers that call in let alone walk in. I have been a Verizon customer since I was old enough to start paying my own cell phone bill (18). I walked in last week to see about trading my husbands phone in for credit towards a new one... all went well until it came time to put the credit towards his new phone. They applied it to my roommates phone and when we called to dispute it, they said there was nothing they could do about it. I called just today, to see if my old iPhone was unlocked so that I could sell it. When I called, the guy that picked up the phone just said, "Thank you for calling Verizon." Didn't ask how could he help or nothing. We just sat on the phone with that awkward silence... when I finally spoke and said, "Hello?" he sounded like he really didn't want to help me and was in a rush to get me off the phone. Correct me if Im wrong but the purpose of having a store front is to provide service correct? Well, they kinda dropped the ball in that department. Thanks a lot Verizon. Not sure I would come back to this location for assistance if they want to treat people like their commitment doesn't matter. read more

Do not go to this branch ,about 2 months ago I went to here to change my plan to business plan,Usually I paid each month 160$ for 4 lines ,but they told me if you move to business plan you will pay same amount with unlimited data ,and after that month, I got a bill 450$!!!!! I went here to see what's going on, they told me this month only you paid this, after that only 165$ again today I got a bill 230$!!!!! When I came with my partner to add him onto my plan and get him a new phone, we had a decent experience. We weren't immediately greeted when entering, which surprised me, and the store had a somewhat annoying phone display where the alarm would go off if you barely touched one of the phones, so it went off a few times (LOUD) during our stay. The employees were very friendly though, explained everything and helped us through the entire process. I wasn't sure how much things would be with my plan discount but they calculated everything easily and I felt much more comfortable knowing what my new plan would be. Good overall store, but I have been to another store (south Austin at Brodie/290) that really wowed me with the whole experience. This one was just, good. read more

Yesterday, January 16, 2021, I decided to purchase a new I-phone from Verizon. I have enjoyed excellent service at the Pflugerville store in the past and I looked forward to similar service now. I was not disappointed. A young man opened the door for me and immediately introduced me to Matthew who would be my specialist. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store and everyone was wearing a mask. There was a limit to the number of shoppers allowed in the store and I was lucky to be allowed in. Matthew asked key questions to determine which new phone was right for me. He did not select the most expensive one which pleased me. I am happy with my purchase and the ease with which I was able to transfer data from my old phone to my new one. read more

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would! That is how awful my experience was here. My husband and I recently switched from Sprint to Verizon. Our initial purchasing experiencing was good, the woman who sold us our phones was fine. On Thursday, January 30th at around 2:00pm I went back to look into purchasing a tougher phone case as my dogs had recently taken my phone off my desk several times and chewed up my pretty looking case. When I walked into the store there were no other customers, just 2 male employees working. One at the counter and the other guy standing to the right of me near the displays. The guy who greeted me was the one standing to my right, he appeared to me middle eastern (I honestly have no clue but I am stating this simply as a means of identification purposes), he asked how he could help me and I told him I was hoping to check out some cases for my phone. He asked me what type of phone I have and I answered. He then proceeds to point into the other room and says cases for my phone are over there. That annoyed me a little but brushed it off and walked into the other room. After looking through the many variety of cases I finally found the cases for my type of phone. I picked up the otter box and wanted to see how it looked on my phone and if it made it too bulky for my liking. After attempting to open the case to put it on my phone I couldn't figure out how to open the case so I went back out to the front room to ask for help. I approached the guy who pointed me in the direction of the cases and asked him if he would help me with the case so I can see how it looks on my phone. He immediately says "Why do you need to try it on, it will look exactly the same on your phone as it does now?" Taken aback I explain that I am looking for a case that will help shield my phone from my dogs who have taken a liking to walking off with my phone but am trying to avoid getting an overly bulky case. He snidely says to me all the while looking at his co-worker "Have you ever EVEN seen dogs teeth before? Nothing will protect your phone from that, except a steel box and we don't sell those here." I ask again if I can please try the case on my phone and he starts to open it and puts it on my phone. I take it back from him, check it over, clip it into the black holster and am not happy with just how large it makes my already large phone plus the color selection was not my favorite. So I tell him that I would like to think about it and keep looking. He tries to take the case off and ends up heading over to the counter to use a tool to open the case. I apologize for him having to remove it and having difficulty. He says "This is why I didn't want to put it on for you in the first place because these things are a pain to get off." At this point I am so put off by his negativity and lack of customer service skills that I don't even want to look at any of the other cases. So when he gives me my phone back and starts to put the case back together I offer to go get the box so he can put it completely back together there at the counter. I go into the other room and grab the box, when I come back he is on the store phone talking to someone and I just put the empty box on the counter and start to head towards the door. As if to put the icing on the cake, the store employee has the phone held up to his ear by his shoulder and he tosses his hands up in the air after realizing I wasn't going to buy the case. I am so unhappy with how I was treated by this store employee that I seriously want to just cancel my services with Verizon. This guy clearly doesn't enjoy his job or want to do anything that will not benefit him commission wise and it truly tainted my impression of Verizon. I really think this guy should get a job where he isn't working with people because clearly he is lacking is basic manners! read more

I'm not sure why this establishment has less than 4 stars. I recently updated my phone and the customer service was excellent. Matthew took the time to listen to my interests and break down each phone phone for me. He wasn't pushy or salesman-like at all, but rather more like a consultant - providing information upon request and alerting me to features and pitfalls based on my expressed needs in a phone. On top of that, he re-structured my bill so now I'm actually paying less per month, but am maintaining the same level of service. After I pay off my Google Pixel 2 in two years, the cost will drop even further. As someone who has a tendency to keep the same phone and/or service for four or more years, this is exactly what I wanted. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with Verizon. The home key on my phone wouldn't work, so I went in to the Pflugerville store. The gentleman told me that the phone was out of warranty, I had no insurance, and I was 6 months away from being eligible for a new phone. After his attempts to get me to buy a new phone at full price on their new payment plan deal failed, he said I should add insurance and I could use their phone to call and make a claim. So I did that. After 4 more phone calls to Verizon the next day, my claim was turned down because there is a 48-hour waiting period before you can make a claim. Verizon was absolutely inflexible about the date I could get a new phone, even though we've been customers for over 15 years. They tried to sell me their new payment plan like it was some kind of a good deal. So today, I took it to austincell.com's store. He took one look at it, and said the back plate wasn't seated quite right. He fiddled with it for about 10 seconds, and phone fixed! I don't know if it's just the Pflugerville store, or if it's Verizon everywhere, but they were clearly not interested in actually fixing my phone, just in selling me a new phone or new services. read more

Ive never done a bad review before but after my experience here I felt everyone should know. This location doesnt deserve even one star and this is why. I have been with them for years and my fiance and I decided we would get a router through them because his xbox was eating our wifi alive. We yold them what the reason was for yhe purchase and stated 20GB should be plenty for a month. Well after 15 days we had gotten to 19.8GB and mu fianve only used it an hour a day of that. We returned it and went through hoops to even do that since there policy was 14 days. After returning the product they told me that we needed to pay for what we used and would not change yhe price to make it cheaper so we had to pay for 10GB plus the up charge for 9.8GB. alot of talking later they said they would waibe it all.. Not to my surprise they did not waive it and I still had to pay. Took 3 hours out of my busy schedule to sit at the location for a sales rep to tell me he wouldnt and couldnt help and that id be better to just pay. So i did and the sales rep stood over and would not move or help me. He wanted to make sure I paid. After two monthes I recieved a letter that I was in collections for that amount. And not to my surprise no one was helpful at the customer service either to help me through and said to call back with proof. So after all this.. If you want aweful service and no help and just a money hungry business in a small town, go here. Ive had so much better service at the austin and round rock locations. Hood coverage and thats the only reason I stay with them. read more

Today this store gave hands-down the worst possible customer service in an industry known for poor service. After refusing to help with a billing issue caused by their own employee, the 2 managers that were present spent the rest of the visit whispering in each other's ears and pointing at customers. Then, in spite of numerous customers waiting for assistance, the male manager wandered through the store without approaching anyone before disappearing into the back. Although I have tried to give Verizon the benefit of the doubt, each time I enter into this location I am pushed further into switching to T Mobile. read more

They have always been very kind to me, fast and efficient. We have three lines with them and this store has handled multiple phone replacements for them all without any major issues. Since it is slightly off the beaten path you can often find phones that are unavailable elsewhere and the store is usually not packed with customers allowing for fast service and a spotless sales floor. Other Verizon stores in the area are forced to adopt a take a number attitude but that's not the case here. read more

I went to this store because it's close to work to get a screen protector and case for my new Iphone7 plus. The first person that put my screen protector on didn't even care to clean it before he placed the screen protector on and he ended up having to lift the corner of the screen protector up and use tape to clean it before he thought it was clean enough. Next morning the corner that he kept lifting came up due to it being adjusted too many times. So I go back tell them about it they replaced it. Okay fine. The reason they are getting a 1 star from me is due to the fact that when they placed the new screen protector on they decided to clean my phone this time (with a dirty rag) then placed on the screen protector with fibers still on the screen from their rag. When I brought it to their attention they told me "there's always a chance of that happening and we do not refund them once they're used"...since I went to them on my lunch break I just walked out when their manager told me this. So I will not be going back, which is sad because they were nice people. Just not very good with screen protectors. read more

I was in the store today, my phone battery completely died. First of the all, the store is immaculate, the employees are as well. Everyone was dressed nicely and looked very well put together. I was helped within seconds of entering the store, by Troy, who diagnosed the problem, tried one or two solutions and then just flat out gave me a new battery. I was out of the store in minutes. By far the best experience I have ever had at a Verizon store. And even though it is not the closest Verizon to where I live, I will be going there for all my phone needs. read more

Three lovely staff members greeted me when I entered their store today as it opened. Chris asked how he could help me and we were off to the iPhones. My old flip phone expired just before Thanksgiving and I was able to donate it to be used as an emergency phone. I was provided a place to sit (not too many chairs available in the usual Verizon stores) and was given great service and training. I strongly recommend this location where the staff seems to enjoy working and were supportive of each other as well as the customer. Very pleasant experience. read more
