My mother in law went to get a new SIM card as her iPhone 12 was having issues. This is a common issue for the 12. They told her to get my password and add her as an account manager. I asked if the will talk to me on the phone and they said no. After I provided the information they said it can't be fixed and had her buy a Google Pixel because that was a discount they had at the store when I could have easily got her another iPhone. They also added a protection plan that wasn't going to bill until next month without anyone's approval. Professional, Personable and Proficient. Super crew, Ms. Donna, and her two assistants, Justin and Andrew. We really had two missions to accomplish' 1) get mom a new phone as Her's was running out of "G's" she had an older model "Flip phone" and it was with trepidation we thought we were going to have to get her a newer model. She is in a great assisted living facility and one of her roommates just got a new phone and still can't get it to work. I bought a new iPhone and needed to buy a screen protector. I arrived at 9:45, thinking they opened at 9 or 9:30. Tried the doors, and nope, not open. Zachary approached me from the parking lot and said no problem, he would open early to help me! (Kindness #1) After he installed the screen protector, I told him I was having trouble with Bluetooth and couldn't get my phone to connect to the Subaru's audio. He said, no problem, I'm familiar with how Subaru does it. He actually came out to my car and set it all up! (My car's memory only allows a certain number of phone connections, so that was the issue. I came into this store to buy a new iPhone. I was asked by the employee if I wanted to add the monthly protection plan on the phone for about $17 per month. I told him no. He tried to talk me into it but I again said no. It wasn't until 2 months later that I checked my bill, it just seemed too high. That's when I saw that he had added the protection anyway. I was mad! I'm sure he gets some kind of bonus for adding this to the phones. I will never go in this store again. I can't stand to be deceived. read more

They lie to you and tell you your getting this great promos then when you come back with your bill wondering what the heck they tell you that you can not have said promotions even when you have the paperwork work to prove it. Poor Service and Misguided information. My husband and I went in on a Sunday afternoon to switch our cell service to Verizon. We waited 15+ minutes as they only had 1 employee working. We wanted to take advantage of a promo but the phones we wanted were out of stock. They'd order the phones and it'd take 2 business days. We were told several times the promo would be valid since we came in on Sunday. On business day 3 we called, no phones. Called on business day 4, they were there. We suspect we didn't get called earlier because the sales rep on Sunday was off on Wednesday and she said she wouldn't get credit if we picked them up Wednesday. We go in, wait 10+ minutes. As we were setting everything up, we asked about the promo but was told that it expired. Even though we were told several times it was "not a problem at all", it was. The rep talked to the manager who gave us a "There's nothing we can do, it's Verizon's policy, not ours." Manager was very assertive and didn't do a thing to try to make it right. I asked the rep why she lied to us. She said she didn't know they were going to change the promos. I tell our story so no one else potentially loses a $750 savings. We would have gladly choose an in stock phone. We only ordered phones that would have taken "2 business days" because we were assured several times we were "all good" for the promo. read more

Bought a $80 LifeProof case here- paid cash. Some LifeProof cases are great- in this case it didn't work out for my particular phone model: it blocked too much sound, and made the soft keys almost inaccessible. None of this is the stores fault, of course- the problem arose when I went to return it, 2 days later, mint, and with receipt, all packaging, etc. First they told me they could take the phone but couldn't give me cash back (or pay me back in any other way), because they didn't have any cash in the store. I then SAW ANOTHER CUSTOMER PAYING HER BILL IN $100 BILLS, and when I suggested the cash was now available, they told me they found "another problem"- another reason they couldn't pay me back. Long story short: I had to call their other location, time after time, because they weren't sending the funds (even though they took the case back at the store). Turns out any return for any reason over $50 needs to "go through certain channels". They eventually did send a check, but the process ended up taking weeks, and literally hours of my time, just to get my $80 back. I wouldn't go to any TCC store again because of their policy- I simply don't have the time to deal with it. read more

I bought a tablet at the end of December and, despite at least 3 trips to the store and having to remind people who said they'd call to actually call, I still don't have the $250 promotional refund 5 weeks later. It's supposed to take 2 more weeks. It was going to be mailed to an invalid address So far nearly every assertion is inaccurate and each promise has been broken. I like the tablet.
