When you call for help, you're stuck on hold forever and then given the same basic troubleshooting script instead of any real solution. It feels like they don't actually care about fixing the problem. For what they charge, the quality of service is unacceptable. If you have literally any other option, I'd recommend avoiding TDS.

Their internet goes down the drain during these hours. On average I see my speeds drop in half and sometimes lower during peak hours. The other disturbing thing is, during these hours Im seeing bufferbloat with an increase in latency during downloads, even when I connect my PC directly to the dish. This tells me that there is a bottleneck happening during peak hours and their networking hardware cant handle the throughput. I know I am on a new system and have been told that they are not over superscribed and they don't have many people on this node. Knowing this I fear whats gonna happen when more people do get on this network and they don't fix the currently situation. Prinetime tells me they do not see any problems.

I only wish I had known about them sooner. They ROCK. The speed and reliability of the service are the best I have ever encountered. The internet itself is excellent, but what really sets Webformix apart is the company's GREAT attitude toward service. The staff is genuinely helpful, genuinely responsive, and genuinely super kind. That may sound simple, but it is not something I have often found in Bend, Oregon.... or really anywhere else in the United States. The people at Webformix seem to actually like helping people. Their service is immediate, and effective. I have honestly never seen anything quite like it. It almost seems too good to be true. But it is true. The internet service is the best I have ever had. The company is the best internet company I have ever dealt with. And, on top of all that, the price is lower than any internet service I have had before. They generously reward customers for referring other customers to them. They are proactive and go out of their way to ensure their clients are satisfied and well informed. They will not try to sell service to you if the signal is inadequate, and that is very different from my experience with other companies like Tmobile, Century Link, and Spectrum. I call back, wait on hold for 45 min until a real person answers, make sure they understand I've already spent 45 min troubleshooting over the phone and it's their tech who told me to make a service appointment. Appointment day arrives, I wait at home for tech during the four hour window, 3 1/2 hours in I get a call: we're running an hour late. An hour and a-half later 5 two techs finally arrive. They make some adjustment, say it's all fixed, and in 30 min. they are gone. That's truly noteworthy service. Next-day update: Conducted a speed test of my high-speed BendBroadband service: 0.53 Mbps download, 5.13 Mbps upload.

I signed up, was offered plenty of time slots to pick for them to…read morecome and install the gear, and the guys that came to get me up and running were pleasant, efficient, and got things working within about an hour I would say, which considering this involved putting a receiver on the roof, I thought was pretty good. The service has, so far, been rock solid; I've not had any outages. The speed is OK without being great (I get a maximum of about 20mbps down). What sucks is the data caps, and the price therein. I find the idea of data caps in this day and age laughable. I'm having to pay $189 a month for 400Gb download, which is just about enough, though I am close to the cap every month (after which I'll pay an additional 50c per Gb), and I don't regard us as heavy users. Companies like this have been the only game in town for people in rural areas for a long time, so they've been able to price gouge. While they offer very pleasant service (they are a nice company to deal with), there's no escaping the fact that I'm being ripped off, but given my alternative is DSL at 1.5mbps, I've got no choice, and they know it. But as soon as Starlink expands to my area, I'll be off. Companies like this are quite rightly going to be killed as soon as proper competition comes along.

Two of the rooms in our house didn't even get it, and our place is about 1200 sq ft. Century Link on the other has been OUTSTANDING! We switched to them about 6 months back, haven't had to reset our router even one time, we get the same quality WiFi in every room of the house, and only pay $50. Can't speak to the customer service because we haven't had to call them since installation, but I can say that the service we got that day was awesome. The guy showed up early, got it installed wicked fast, and then we shared pictures of our dogs and he helped me find some cool places to visit on the southern coast for our upcoming road trip.
