My carrier was going to switch from Straight Talk to AT&T. It took nearly 2 hours before I finally decided I didn't want to go through with the switch. I told the Walmart employee I had changed my mind and asked if he needed anything else from me, and he said no. So I walked away. Turns out AT&T still took my number. I wasn't aware that I hadn't been receiving calls for a whole week, and I am now unable to receive texts or calls. I called AT&T, and they have declined to give me access to MY phone number because I do not have a PIN to provide. I asked to speak with their manager, but they told me that since I do not have a pin, I cannot speak with the manager. Walmart was absolutely not willing to help me retrieve my number, so my review is: do NOT get cellphone service with Walmart. They only care about their commissions if you decline to trade, it's basically F U. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED.

I purchased two Samsung Galaxy S24 FE phones--one for myself and one for my father. I paid around $120, which included taxes and a $29 Assist/Activation fee to get the phones set up in-store. After almost a month, I wasn't satisfied with Verizon's service. So today, I returned to cancel the account and return both phones. That's when the nonsense started. They charged me a $50 restocking fee for EACH phone--totaling $100 just to return them. On top of that, they told me I owed another $9 for the Assist/Activation fee, even though I already paid that when I first signed up. Why am I being charged a second time for a non-refundable service I didn't even use again? The policies were never explained clearly, and the staff offered no reasonable explanation for these extra charges. This whole experience felt shady, frustrating, and like they were just squeezing more money out of me on the way out the door. I would not recommend doing business with this store.
