    Best buy has really changed and it sometimes may be due to getting lower sales. One unit was left in the garage because they could not get it down the steps. Installers did not have furniture blankets. I was told I needed to remove the railing. I couldn't, so they parked the unit in my garage to deal with later. The second one was installed on the first level, but it was completely crooked. The installers said that either my floor or cabinets were not level. So, I called the builder and we checked the next day. Everything is level in the home - it is new construction! After a call to customer service, a second crew came to fix the problem. That resulted in the refrigerator being brought all the way down to the floor, and I was told not to move it, or it would destroy my floor. They shimmed it with some available cardboard. The refrigerator was still crooked. They didn't even acknowledge the second unit so it remained in my garage. We decided to return both units. We finally purchased from a different company. No tilt. Perfect fit. Go elsewhere.

    I recently started looking to get a remote start installed in my car. Because of my familiarity…read morewith the Big Box Electronics Store located on Shelbyville Rd. (read between the lines) I went there first. Ordered and paid for a starter but when it came to installation...another story. Cancelled because they couldn't actually manage to do the install. Wait a few months to dip my foot in the waters again, only to have Big Box Electronics Store located on Shelbyville Rd, once again, have no available install slots on their calendar. Cancelled the order again and decided to look locally. My first call was to Xtreme Autosound. I gave them the specs for my car and they quoted me a similar system to the one I previously ordered/cancelled for just a little higher price, but with the added bonus of actually being able to do the installation. They also had the parts I needed in stock. Xtreme doesn't make appointments for remote start installations and works on a first-come, first-served basis, so I was there the next morning at 8:45 am. My car was taken right in and the work began. I was given an estimated time to install of about 2 hours, so I waited in the waiting area. The waiting area amounts to a few chairs, so I was able to work while my car was being worked on. By the amount of people traffic that morning, Xtreme Autosound does a pretty steady business. The entire customer-facing area was kept clean and well lit. Boxes of product ready for installation populated some areas of the floor and new/featured product placement throughout told you that Xtreme keeps current with auto sound technologies. About 90 minutes into my estimated two hour wait I was told my car was ready. Not bad! I paid and was taken to my car where I got my "this is how it works" demo. Should I ever decide to have any more work done on my car, Xtreme Autosound is the place I'll be going. Friendly staff and professional, efficient installers make it WAY better than the Big Box Electronics Store located on Shelbyville Rd.

    THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY!!! On October 31,…read more2024 my wife and I bought a Beauty Rest Black Series Mattress from here based on a friends recommendation. We were very excited to get a top of the line Mattress to replace our 20 year old current one. Sleep is top priority to us because we both have demanding careers. We splurged getting the 2nd best mattress they sold. We paid $3,399.00 plus tax just for the mattress alone. After about 6 weeks, we noticed the mattress started forming a hole about midway down on the left side. I reached out to the Sales Manager Chris Kelly and they said it would be replaced. I went ahead and upgraded to the BEST mattress they sold hoping we wouldn't have the same problem. Another $400! On March 27, 2025, I reached out to Chris again to let him know we had another failure. SAME EXACT SPOT!!! He was quick to apologize and offered another replacement. We discussed what would happen if the new mattress failed. We can't continue this process every few months. He said that if the 3rd mattress failed they would issue me a refund and we would part ways. Well, on July 1, 2025 I notified the Sales Manager Chris Kelly that we had another failure! I assumed per our previous conversation, they would come get the faulty mattress and issue a refund as we agreed upon. Instead, a shell game commenced. Charlie Wilsons passed the baton to the Simmons Rep Brookes Gardner who has been completely unresponsive to my communication. It's terrible to expect a customer to deal with your factory rep! I bought the mattress from you. You extended the 1 year warranty! Charlie Wilsons totally dropped the ball in standing behind their product. So much for supporting a Small Business! We are average size people. My guess is these mattresses are not meant for an adjustable frame (which they sold to us as well $899) Meanwhile we are sleeping on a slant. My back hurts when I wake up. Toss and turn all night and get stuck in the hole. Have to roll uphill to get out! I've given them more than enough time to make this right. Dozens of emails and phone calls. Filing a lawsuit in Small Claims Court today!

They installed the speakers for my 6.1 surround system in a newly painted living room. They could have made it easier on themselves by placing the speakers in other areas but they chose to put them in the areas that would produce the best sound. Not afraid of a challenge.

    I called and had 2 gentlemen come over to my house to give me an estimate on hanging my 75 inch TV…read moreover the fireplace, along with connecting a sound bar. There had been a 50 inch TV already hanging there which I had removed. I also spoke with them about taking the 50 inch TV and hanging it in another room. The guys recommended pulling the existing mount off the wall and putting a new one on, which I thought was probably what was needed. They tried to push a $250.00 mount, but when I told them I had priced mounts and found them to be between 60-90 dollars, they then said a $100.00 mount might work. They took my information (email) and said they would go back and send me an estimate. This was on a Wed. I didn't receive an email by Thurs. afternoon, so I called them and whomever I spoke with said he would let them know. I made sure they had my correct email. No email was sent the next day on Fri. Called again and spoke with the same person from the previous day. He said he told them (but they were busy) and he would remind them again. It has now been 7 days since they came to the house. Furthermore, the TV was delivered on Sat. (3 days after they originally came) and the guy looked at my wall and said, "I guess you will be putting it up on the wall?" I said yes, but I'll need to get a new mount. He said, "Why, that Omni Mount you have will hold this set." Well, as you can imagine, I was shocked to hear that since the Audio Video Innovation team was trying to sell me a new mount (and a $250 one to boot). Last night, my son-in-law and I hung the new 75 inch TV on the existing mount above the fireplace. It took us a few times to get the adjustments correct, but nevertheless, the Old Mount did work. Long story short, "Why didn't they tell me the existing mount would work?" "Why didn't they ever send me back an email with an estimate?" "Why would they walk away from a job?" They still could have sold me another mount since I wanted the 50 inch hung in a different room. I'm most upset with the fact they wanted to pull an existing mount off a wall (brick, by the way) and then put a new mount into the bricks. Plus the price gouging of trying to sell me a $250 mount when (almost certainly) a $100 mount would have worked. The guys that showed up were personable, but I'm am truly disappointed with the professionalism of this company.
