I was not the account holder and they needed to be present for me to walk out with a new phone. I called my dad and while I was waiting for him to show up to authorize the upgrade, 5 different employees noticed me sitting and asked if I had been helped. When I told them no they went about their normal work business and since I was the only customer in the store, they were just chatting amongst themselves. A manager came out and said "guys we have a customer over here is anyone helping her??" Once I explained I was waiting he asked if anyone had checked if the phone I wanted was in stock. Yes, they had. So then everyone was so cheerful and nice while I waited I felt like we were all friends. Once Kory was able to start my upgrade, my phone started to transfer and it was supposed to take a long time. I told him I was supposed to meet my parents for dinner but I would just have to skip it. He told me I could go eat with them and then come back before the store closed to get my new phone. I came back, everything was ready and I walked out with my new phone and a smile.

It was a bit of a process figuring out what happened but the staff stuck with it, troubleshooting, and helped us communicate with the other carrier to get it resolved. Overall a good experience in resolving issues that arise, and everything else went smooth. Customer service is easy when everything goes right, but it is even more important when the unexpected happens and the staff here rose to the occasion.

Repeat customer no more!…read more I spoke with Steve (owner) on the phone in regards to seeing a file of the work he previously did for me. He came across as grumpy on the phone but I let it go because he said, "if we did the work, it's in the system and I can find it." Then came an email an hour later saying "Nope. The system makes me jump through hoops to release a file. No time for that. Just send me the changes you want." Steve not only forget his manners as he came across rude and abrupt (no "sorry" or even any ounce of effort to help), but he also forgot that if he wants me to send him changes to an existing file, he would have to find the time to eventually get that file anyway to print said changes! It's too bad "finding time" to help a repeat customer was so difficult for Steve. It would be a different story if he was simply unable to, but he made it clear he could find the previous work, he just chose not to. Life is too short to deal with grumpy old men with no awareness for how to speak to others, let alone how to run a business. Business owners are literally in business to support client needs with a solution - somewhere along the way Steve forgot that!

When I showed up at the shop, Sid explained what he was going to do, showed me what the process was , and validated it on his laptop - and proceeded to install the part. 10 minutes later, the fix was complete and the SG4 back in service. (The installation might have been faster, but Sid was also on the phone with other clients.) If your phone needs repair, I strongly recommend asking Sid for help. A truly "Superior" outcome.
