I would give this store a ZERO, if that was an option. I had talked to someone at this store about a business account promotion and they said a business Rep will call you in a few days. No one call for 10 days. I followed up and some one form their Business Plans(I needed 4 Iphones and a watch) are called me and gave me plans and $ figures about the plan and the new Iphone 16's, and finalized on the phone call, and then gave me an appointment to go to this Bristol store and get the phones and complete the transaction. I go in there and am waiting for almost 20 mins., before anyone attends, they take all the related information and take almost 2 hours, and after that they do a switcheroo ...they tell me that there's some problem and just go with the personal plan which had 3 year term and different terms. This place is a total scam and useless. Never go there or trust Verizon Business plans and related folks. Except for 1 guy rest of the folks are lost, don't know their jobs or lying and just goofing off. read more

So I purchased new phones in December. my salesperson (bernardo) seemed like he knew what he was doing. told us about the promos-upgrade your plan to some unlimited plan and we could get either Samsung watch/samsung tablet/ I watch/apple tablet for free. JusT need to put it on the plan. Well its March now. I'm reviewing my bill and I'm being charged for a tablet. Go to the store talk to a rep and the manager. Manager will escalate it. Get a call back from the manager "sorry, nothing we can do and Bernardo doesn't work here anymore'! Wow. Great customer service verizon store. I suggest going to a real Verizon store and not a independent store. These people are full of sh** and don't stand my anything. I will continue to fight to get my money back. Liars. Very poorly run operation. I drove half an hour since they had the Apple Watch I needed. I attempted a very simple transaction adding a phone line and watch to my account. First they tried to sell me a phone? Then they tried to tell me it would cost an additional $70 per month for another phone line when I knew very well that it was $10 per month. I ended up just walking out and going to West Farms apple bar. Waste of time. Certainly not the employees fault as she must have no training. read more

Horrible store and Management ( if you want to call it that) My elderly Mother in law went in to replace her phone, which is under my account. She should not have been able to buy anything, as she did not know the pin number, nor did she have permission.Shes 83 years old, they sold her a crappy phone, for 40.00 MORE than what I could have paid online. Totally took advantage of a an elderly person. They looked up my pin number, and used it as if I was in the store. They told me they were independently owned, and could do " whatever they wanted" Had to get Verizon involved to get this resolved. I am also filing a a complaint state of connecticut. read more

Horrible store. maybe it's just Verizon but every store I've been in sucks. They are all franchises so they have no one looking over their shoulder so don't care about how they treat customers. Scammers!!! They will lie to you and make you pay more than what you're supposed to. They don't even care about military either, they ripped me off and made me pay $860 for one month and only TWO LINES. They literally told me it would be $170 but I had to pay taxes and activation fee so I was like ok then they charged me $200 at the store and $400 on the app so I was thinking they would give us the money back on next month payment but no, they tried to charge $260 more. We called customer service and they told us they have no idea why the guy from the store (Matt) told us that, and he also tried to sell us chargers for $50 when it's $20 at the ACTUAL APPLE WEBSITE. Anyways, we went back to the store to see wth is going on just to see they actually would take $860 from us and theres nothing we can do plus they told us our hotspot was free but guess what? Apparently it was $65 for the device I didn't want to purchase and didn't even know it was purchased. I recently needed to get a new phone... Came to the store, was immediately acknowledged, had a little wait, but it was near the holiday's. Cheryl is awesome! She helped me transfer all my saved data and apps to new phone. She also advised me of a new offer, which was a free tablet. She was very thorough, and informative. Full of arrogant, aggressive, and ultimately useless salespeople. I brought my phone in to claim a manufacturer's warrantee (original Google Pixel with a microphone/motherboard defect), remembering that the person who sold it to me less than a year ago gave me a good deal and was very helpful. Well, I don't know where that guy went, because the one I got stuck with this time took one look at my otherwise-perfect phone and started drilling me on how happy I was with it. Then, I had to watch this dude scramble around on his tablet for about 10 minutes, asking seemingly unrelated questions about my account but otherwise not saying a word to me about what he was doing before he just left me with some other guy while he ran to the back and pulled out a ~*~*~*SHINY~*~*~*~NEW~*~*~*~ Galaxy S8 that I just HAD to have, and he was going to give me the DEAL OF THE CENTURY if I traded my Pixel for it. Whatever, dude. The person he left me with looked like less of a tool, so I tried to talk to him about the warrantee. He completely brushed me off, obviously just buying time until his buddy came back, by making it seem like a huge deal that I was going to have to wait a week or two for my new phone... despite the fact that I had already shown them the backup that I was planning on using. Anyway, guy #1 had gone through the trouble to pull the damn thing out, and I had already wasted an hour of my time there, so I decided to humor him and at least look at the S8. I explained to him that my job relies heavily on having a good camera, and that that was one of the main points that sold me on the Pixel. I started trying to ask him about the S8's camera, and... apparently made a huge mistake by starting off with the megapixels. He cut me off and started on a rant about how that doesn't matter, that's not what makes a good camera, and here, let me show you how good this camera is, I can get 2 inches from this poster, I can take selfies and it has all kinds of neat filters, this one with the ramen is my favorite... Whatever, dude. The little card next to the demo phone didn't have any information about the camera either, so I gave him an 'I'll talk to my tech guy about it' and sat back down to ask him what he really meant by 'deal of the century'. Now, get this. This dude sincerely thought that NOT ONLY was I going to give him my Pixel, but that I was going to go back home and drag my BOYFRIEND into the store and have him trade in HIS phone for a brand new S8 as well, and I'd be able to sleep that night knowing I owed Verizon $1400 more than I did that morning. When I politely explained that hah, no, trust me, he loves his 4 wide angle cameras and tablet-sized screen more than life itself, this guy realized he had no other way to sell me on an edgeless snapchat machine and nearly lost his mind. He told me that he walked into work holding the same phone as my boyfriend one day and his boss started laughing at him. Well, I guess it sucks to be you, Karl. read more

Similar to the previous review, I was impressed with the genuineness of the two employees that worked at this location. I do not live in Connecticut, and was here helping my family move our Mom to a smaller place. During that move, my phone inadvertently got in my hand, just after a heavy item landed directly on my foot. Let's say the phone worked, however better as a horseshoe than a mobile technology device. Don't worry I am fine. While traveling my phone becomes an important link to my business and personal life back home. At times it is imperative that I have a well operating device. Therefore I began my search for my phone of choice, and found it was unavailable online through Verizon, and seemed comparable to Verizon's price when including overnight shipping at online retailers. So I decided to call this store and see about that day availability. Similar to online, there was not one available, and not one coming in on the next shipment either. Not giving up, he began checking stores in the area, and located one about an hour round trip away. Needless to say, he drove there, picked it up and I had my new phone that afternoon. Due to my old phone was barely functional, and I never back up to the cloud, while backing it up in the store, it took almost an hour. I am glad that it did. For that hour, I enjoyed sharing life experiences with the two individuals that worked here. Each had interesting lives and experiences to share and laugh about. While retaining a professional demeanor we shared our stories and an hour later I was reconnected with the virtual world. This experience reminded me that sometimes it is the little things that make the biggest differences. Highly recommended. read more

Went in to pick up a phone I ordered online. When there was an issue about a promotion, the manager, Kiesha, became very defensive and loud. She stated she had nothing to do with promotions and wore a smirk across her face, which was obvious because she wasn't wearing a mask. I don't usually go out of my way to write a review but it's worth it for these guys. One of the biggest problems today is the little local guy gets snuffed by the corporate giant. That is not the case here! You get a local business owner and his small staff that actually care about meeting your needs but connect you with the best cellular provider there is! I've gotten my last 3 phones from these guys and also for my family (at least the ones old enough to have cells :P). They make sure you get the best bang for your buck and want you to walk away happy with what you get. I actually get a 25% discount with verizon through my employer and can order from a special link. These guys honor it at the wireless zone (and they don't have to)! I make sure to head there for anything cell related and send over all my friends and family as well. This is exactly the kind of thing I want to see in my community. Product and service that I need provided by a local owner. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. read more

So I had to switch over plans because of a breakup (kind of) and it became the biggest headache and problem ever. But , and excuse me if I spell his name wrong Akem was so incredibly patient with me and my situation. The store is always busy so it was extremely impressive that an employee would spend that much time with me not only to try to fix the problem but explain everything that was going on and a lot of different ways to fix the problem and how to move on. Giving me plenty of options that were right for me without making me feel like I was being upselled. I'm not the smartest when it comes to phones and I was EXTREMELY irritable when I came in due to this awful problem I had switching from my exs plan to Verizon! Honestly couldn't get the problem fixed that day (due to my ex nothing to do with the store) but left with many options that will and have worked. But I left feeling better then I did going in because of him being so friendly and understanding and comforting with my problem that I thought was unfixable And this was not my first visit here. The first time i originally came in the store was wayyyy more busy then I thought it would be and there was a wait, but way worth it because they gave every person their FULL attention and weren't trying to juggle a million things at once. Also I came in close to closing time and the taller lady (I think the manager) helped me the first day and stayed later then when the store closed to finish my transaction that day I don't really write reviews a lot. Every phone I've purchased from here has been a dud. Recently I just bought the iPhone 6 and the box it came in an unwrapped box. It had to be refurbished. If you go to apple or a non-franchise verizon store all their phones must come in a wrapped unopened box. The phone was super slow and I returned it. The owner tried to charge me a restocking fee but I got that waived. Always go to an actual verizon or Apple Store for your iPhones etc read more

Waited about 15 mins before any of the employees even acknowledged me. Everyone in line ahead of me was getting a phone, and the employees had to call Verizon customer service to answer any of their questions. The employees were nice, but I would not recommend going to a Wireless Zone if you are looking to get a new phone, because the process is much more complicated than just going to an actual Verizon store.
