Verizon. Do better. Poor associate. She's been there a month, poorly trained and has no clue about what she's doing. Whoever is scheduling her to work alone should be fired. Standing outside of this store trying to just turn a phone in and it is 15 minutes past 10am and nobody is here. Whats the deal Verizon?

I went there to get my phone fixed. Bradley and Chris were very knowledgeable, took their time to troubleshoot the problem, and fixed my phone. There were also pleasant, and great to talk to. You can tell that they really like their job. Exceptional customer service, and I would definitely go back to that location. They were both great! I went here to buy a hotspot because my home WiFi was out and I had an exam due the same night it went out. I explained my situation to the store manager (Terrance) and he sold me a device. Once I paid and prepared to wrap things up he told me the device was defective and since it didn't work he would have a new one ready for me tomorrow. My first issue is that Terrance sold me the device knowing that it was defective. Secondly, I told him that if I couldn't get it tonight I'd just get a refund, they were closing so I said I'd come back the next day to do the refund. He told me that was fine and to hold on to my receipt for the return. I left with no hotspot and ended up using a friends phone hotspot to take my exam. When I returned the next day to process my refund, he told me about a $50 "restocking fee" that I would be charged to make the return. At this point I'm confused. I asked him why would I pay to restock a defective device that I never even left the store with? He became defensive and went on to say that he told me about the fee (which he didn't), he said I signed for and acknowledged the fee on the paperwork (which I didn't) and that I could either take the new device or exchange for something else. I realized at that moment that this was a hidden term that the store uses to prevent people from making returns while still advertising that they accept returns. They charged my card and I left. I contacted Verizon shortly afterwards to let them know what happened. Verizon care gave me a code to receive my refund back. I went back to the store and presented it to Terrance. He argued with me that I acknowledged and signed that I accepted the fee. He said it was on my receipt but could not show me where(because he was lying). The receipt said that I could make a return in 14 days and did not state anything about a fee. He then said it was on a sign by the keypad. His fellow associate then moved an advertisement sign to show me the "restocking fee" sign. Yes, they had a sign up about the fee but they had a advertisement sign in front of it blocking the sign (SHADY). When I didn't budge Terrance said that the info was also on the website, I asked him to show me and he never did. I also looked on the website and couldn't find it. I knew 100% that he never mentioned the fee so I asked to speak to someone above him. He spoke with his district manager who sat on the phone with him and laughed about how Verizon Care could not make them process a return because they're a third party retailer not an actual Verizon store. After all this mess, selling me a defective device, omitting the restocking fee information and the lies he still would not provide a refund. I left the store and filed a dispute with my bank. I was awarded my money back thanks to my bank but mostly thanks to the fact that this company had nothing on the receipt that stated I had to pay a "restocking fee" and they had no signed acknowledgment of me agreeing to pay a restocking fee (obviously because Terrance never told me and I never signed for it). I truly believe this company uses the restocking fee to intimidate customers into keeping products or giving up on a refund all together. In my opinion that's wrong! Had I just let this go without a fight they would've received $100+ dollars from me without even delivering me a product. In no way is that good customer service or a good business practice. I attached my receipt so that you all could see for your selves that there was no mention of a restocking fee on the sales receipt vs. the refund receipt where they added the restocking fee. Go to a actual Verizon store and don't deal with this mess. read more

Verizon service in the area is just as bad as all other providers in the Saginaw & North Fort Worth area. Don't make the same mistake I did and pay $350 for a family plan when I was paying $128 with Sprint. Also...Verizon does not have a way to reimburse you for charges incurred due to "the way their system is designed". Was overcharged $90 for a system issue that did not accept my autopay (although it clearly shows on the app and confirmation Message clearly states it was accepted), they did however offer a $20 one time credit for being a loyal customer (GTFOH). So I'm out an extra $70 because employees are useless to correct a system issue or offer to credit the money back on the next billing cycle. Do yourself a favor and go with a different provider; doesn't matter which one, just save yourself the headache of going with Verizon. It's been issue after issue since signing up. Avoid this store at all costs. It's a complete scam. They are crooks. They will tell you what you want to hear, then after they've deactivated your existing phone, tell you that you owe hundreds of dollars for accessories that would cost you $20 any place else. My experience with this store was awesome so far. I gave this store a call first just to check out what phones they had available and what specials they were running. Stephen was able to provide me with enough information that I decide to check it out further. My daughter and I went in yesterday looking for new phones and we got just that plus great customer service. Not only was Stephen very knowledgeable but he was very honest about the specials and pricing. I truly appreciate it when you meet honest salesmen because no one wants to leave a store feeling like they were taken advantage of. Stephen had a new hire named Chris who was in training so he wasn't able to help out too much but he definitely did what he could to assist Stephen. Stephen didn't let that slow him down, he know how to multitask with all the clients that came into the store which was excellent versus him just focusing on one person at a time so none of us felt like we were in there forever just to be helped. I would like to give a thumbs up to Chris the new hire as well. He stepped up too and even went as far as to entertain my toddler granddaughter when he wasn't able to assist. These are the kind of guys you want to work for you or in your stores. Happy customers keep a business thriving. Came into this store before to switch to Verizon from t-mobile and we ended up not making the switch because the guy helping us was just pushing a lot of extra stuff on us saying it was all free or a really good deal. Our end total was over $500 for two phones that we were getting on a payment plan and a bunch of "free" stuff. We ended up not making the switch until 2 months later at Costco where we got the exact same phones for a total of $130 that day, just no extra bs that we didn't want. I ended up coming back to this store to ask about there protection plan for the phones. The same guy (Terance) was working and helped us, he told us they had a deal going on where we could get the phone protection and the home protection for $36. Sounded to good to be true, and we made it clear that it did. Well after asking 20 questions we said sign us up. There ended up being a system glitch that day, he didn't sign us up for about 2 weeks but i asked in a text if it would be $36 still and he responded yes. Well I just looked at my next bill and it shows that we are paying $75 a month for this. I asked him about it and he said we are somehow saving $36 and he never said it would be that price total. This dude is just a conniving sales guy who will lie to you and deny it later. Would 100% not recommend going to this verizon. read more
