The first day I had my new phone, I screwed something up, and lost all of my contacts so I had to return to the store so they could fix what I screwed up. They fixed the problem in a very short time, and tried their best to educate an old guy on the new technology. I would highly recommend this store for your Verizon needs! John S.

So there was a little trepidation about stopping in this Verizon store for a problem with the charge port on my phone. "But they are professionals and I'll be with my phone and can prevent them from taking a wrong turn in my pictures gallery. When the associate took my phone to the back room I thought, "Nothing to worry about. Probably some equipment back there." But after 8 minutes (still wear a watch) and all 4 associates in the back room - leaving me and another customer alone in the front of the store - I got a little worried that my privacy was being invaded. One finally came out to return to the customer he had been helping and I asked him (politely) to tell his colleague that I needed to get back on the road and did not have time to stay. He went to the back, the other 2 associates returned with him, and lastly, the fellow who took my phone. "It had lint in it. I was getting out lint," he said. 8 minutes and 3 associates to deal with lint in a charger port? Really? To their credit, my power cord fits into the port better, but 8 minutes to clean lint out of a little space? And had he just coincidentally finished when I asked for my phone back? You tell me.

Ryan B. was the representative working with me. He displayed composure, tact and discipline while dealing with other unsufferable (I wanted to yell at these bozos for him) clients prior to assisting me. When my time came, he made sure to explain EVERY option I had when it came to upgrading my phone. Additionally, he even assisted with comparing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with other competing models, for both the ones AT&T is authorized to carry and 3rd party devices available online. In summary, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. Also, your point of sale system is buggy AT&T and y'all NEED to find a new contract for it cuz whoever has your money now, ain't worth SQUAT.

Ryan and Jason are truly professional and earned my business as I was looking into switching from another cell provider. Not all AT&T stores are alike and my experience with one other was awful. If I had not already dealt with Ryan at the Stafford Marketplace location, I may not have even switched to AT&T. They did not receive the S20 Ultra on the day of release which is why I went to the other store which did have it in stock. In the end, I would rather wait a week or even a year if I had to in order to work with friendly, competent and professional people like Ryan and Jason. They handled everything and I got the phone a few days later so it all worked out. Corporate needs to praise this store and make it the model for other regional stores. The next step for corporate would be to go ten miles south and clean house in that location.

It was also overheating - another sign of a bad battery. I was all set to go to a location in Bowie that actually had my battery on site and have them install it when I got another response on my phone that concerned me. I decided to stop at this location before heading to Bowie to end up buying a battery I may not have needed. Glad I did. He was able to open/examine my phone and reassured me that the battery was good, but that it was another issue - somehow my motherboard had become partially disconnected. He reconnected it and reassembled my phone all within 20 minutes or so. He didn't even charge me, but I gave him a $40 tip. I was walking on air leaving the store feeling like I saved myself the $90 charge to have the battery purchased and installed. No sooner I got home started getting the same problems with the restarting . Went back to Anwar and he reassured me that there was nothing much that could be done at this point. We both thought it was the motherboard, and turns out it wasn't... At least not exclusively.. Look at it as a net gain because I didn't have to spend $80 on the battery and I met this gentleman who is super well skilled with cell phones and gave me good guidance. Met his coworker and mentor (Rahna) a couple of days later. That guy said he taught Anwar everything he knew and has been in the business for 10 years versus 3 for Anwar. Luckily, I was able to get a warranty replacement from Asurion and transfer my data so I'm good to go for now but I'm glad I met these guys. I'll be coming back as needed.
