Had a problem with my Galaxy s25. Called Verizon tech support (from a different phone) and well over an hour later they installed an electronic Sim card which ended up converting my s25 back to my old s21!! I told the tech what happened and she assured me that it will take an hour or so to update and would revert back to my s25. This never happened. I walked in to this site, was immediately greeted by Daniel. Daniel understood my problem, was courtious and knowledgeable and within a short period of time, corrected the problems, my S25 was once again a S25, got all my settings back and sent me on my way. My husband and I went there on January first to see what offers they have for a new phones since we have a business account with them. while I was talking to one of the guys and I was showing him one of the offers I saw online,I asked a question about the offer he said WHAT!! Not making eye contact at all while we were there, And I realized he was playing games on his phone and I said you know what keep playing. My husband and I recently visited the Wireless Zone at 117 Franklin Turnpike with the intention of acquiring a smartwatch. We were professionally assisted by the store manager, whose exemplary service was greatly appreciated. He demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of my hesitation regarding an upgrade, particularly in light of my previous interactions with Verizon corporate in West Nyack. Ultimately, I opted to upgrade my phone in conjunction with the smartwatch, as this presented the most favorable solution. I unequivocally recommend this establishment, as their dedication to client satisfaction is readily apparent. I went into this Verizon unbeknownst to me that it was an authorized retailer as it was not started under the Verizon outside. There was no concierge person to check me in but I thought maybe Verizon stores don't do that anymore. WELL NO. This authorized retailer does not do checkins. I was met by Roger S. who when I explained my phone 13 is still in SOS mode he told me there was nothing he could to do fix it because the 13 is the last version to use SIM cards and that I can trade in my phone for the newest 16. I said okay sure if it's not going to raise my bill and he even said it would lower it $20 a month. WHY NOT?!?, right! I left that night paying $155 to pay off the balance of the 13 and $126 which was sales tax and $49.99 service fee. Later that night and the next day i checked and my Verizon app bill was showing an increase of $30 per month for the device to be paid during the 36 month contract. I called the actual Verizon and they told me there was nothing on my account showing a trade in promotion was processed and that was I going to be paying off the phone over 36 months. FUMING, I called wireless zone and was greeted by the most rude and incompetent human in all of the sales world. Come to find out his name was Wyatt and it was his second day. He was CLEARLY not trained in customer service and how to be kind and polite. He simply would just not help. He said only Roger could help me and he would be back on Monday. He told me the manager opened and had just left. He told me he wouldn't put any other employee on the phone or put me on hold until someone else could talk to me. He said he wouldn't even pull up my account over the phone and HAD to come into the store. But essentially couldn't do ANYTHING until Roger was back on Monday. So ever so angry and annoyed I drove to the location to a completely empty store which did not state that it was an authorized realtor under the Verizon sign. Wyatt went into the back of the store to get another employee named MJ to work with me. Wyatt proceeded to stay very close to me hovering over me and trying to intimidate me and make me uncomfortable despite the many times MJ asked him to go to the back of the store. There was NO ONE in store like Wyatt ever so rudely told me there was and that I could call back in 30-60 min when they were pretty much closing to speak with some else. MJ repeatedly asked Wyatt to leave and he just wouldn't and I was extremely unfortunately. Well MJ was able to get Roger on the phone and process the trade in which should have been done when I was at the store the first time. I am still waiting to see how my bill looks in next few billing cycles. But the whole experience was a nightmare and I would never recommend going there or any authorized retailer as they can pretty much lie and make their own rules and follow zero protocols. I do want to THANK MJ for all of his help and understand and apologies. And if you do find yourself walking into location ask for MJ and only MJ and don't listen to incompetence of anyone else. I'm pretty sure my iPhone 13 could have been fixed but I trusted that Roger was giving me only his expert advice. read more

Terrific service. I was ordering a phone from them, they told me that I can pick it up at a later date. I got in couple of days later. they didn't order the phone and told me the system was down, and they couldn't order the phone for me on that day. so the conversation went: me: why don't you let me know, you are a phone service store right? clerk: yeah, I called you twice on that day but you didn't answer. me: ok, my fault. couldn't you text and let me know? you are a phone service store, right? Staff is great here, very friendly and helpful. I was here for a long time recently and there were some technical issues with a return of mine - staff was professional and knowledgeable and helpful the whole time. It's a nice quiet location too so I haven't had to wait to be helped. Would definitely recommend this location and its staff for your Verizon needs. read more

Amazing staff, Alexander the store manager was excellent! when it came to saving me money on bill he took his time and analyzed my entire bill and saved me money so I take advantage of the free iPad and free Apple Watch, also he helped me save money on my home cable, internet and land line with Verizon new 5G home internet, let me say I love this new internet product especially that it's connected to my account I don't have to worry about other bills everything is under one account one bill. I was paying a fortune with optimum to now paying $35 for home internet you can't beat that deal with a free iPad and Apple Watch who can refuse these amazing gifts I recommend anyone and everyone to visit the Mahwah store great staff! I went in with a difficult situation and it was Ricky to the rescue he was amazing in every way. I used the verzion app. To schedule an appointment there. When I got there they had no idea about my appointment funny as I got a confirmation from Verizon. I needed a new SIM card, I was told I could have one,but it could be activated there. I needed to do it on line which seemed strange until I was told that I had to pay $20.00 to get the card then call customer service to activate. The whole thing was a scam. I was told I could go to another store and get one for free or contact customer service and order one for free Really ! How stupid pay 20 and call customer service for activation. They not only explained all of the details, charges, etc. of what the latest offer was (which I happily took!), but they were also very patient with my two young children being there with me. Regarding the Verizon location in Mahwah, New Jersey This is the worst Verizon store I have ever been to. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to finally help me. Apparently he was in the bathroom that entire time. I waited only for him to tell me he could not help me. I never had this problem before when I went to their old location. Apparently they do not help you with any kind of tech-support. I waited almost an hour for him to tell me to dial 611 on my phone. he was completely incompetent and rude and I will never go back to this location ever again. I don't even know why they open the store. If they can't help you with any problem you have with your phone. I am very disappointed with VERIZON and I have been a customer for decades. I called this store because they were one of the few open that I could find with the Corona Virus shutdown in place. I spoke to Dillan on the phone and explained that my phone was damaged and that it was the lifeline to my business (which is essential and open.) I further explained that because of the damaged screen, it was inoperative and that I needed one ASAP. Initially he was very good. He explained that I should not go with an older Iphone (1 model older) as I usually do and that I should go with the newest one. He told me that he didn't have any Iphones at the moment, but could order one which would take too long for my needs or that he would search other verizon stores for me, to see if he could get one from them. He took my information and then called me back. He said he found one in the Pompton Plains store but the only one they had was the most expensive one ($1250.00) and that I could go there (much further away for me) or he could grab it from them and have it for me the next day. I told him it was a lot more than I wanted to spend but that, since he did all the leg work, and I did not have the ability to use the nav in my phone to find it, I would come buy it from him. I thanked him and said and I would close my store early to get there on time and drive down after work the next day. He said he would have it waiting. I closed my business early and drove 60 miles to the store to find out he wasn't there and nobody knew anything about it. The guy behind the computer was very courteous, and empathetic to my situation. He asked another guy and this guy came out and just looked at me and said i don't know anything about it. I explained again that Dillon told me he was going to have his guy get it from the Pompton Plains store in the morning and to just come down there to his store and he would have it waiting, and the guy again just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Then he said he would call Dillon and walked off into the back. I waited and waited and when he finally came out he told me the phone was at the other store still and on hold he thinks. When I asked why Dillon or another staff member from the store did not call me, because I just wasted a lot of money, gas, time and tolls to get there... he just looked at me again and said "I don't know." I was beyond pissed and asked again why nobody called and again he shrugged and his response was "yea that's our fault" and that he could go get the phone tomorrow. They've been open 6 hours today and nobody has even called me to explain, to see if I still want the phone or to even offer some kind of apology. I've taught customer service classes over the years and this is among the worst i've seen in a long time. The worst part about this is they are slow because of the shutdown and yet still... NO one could either get this phone to make the sale or follow up with me to prevent me from wasting all that time and money. They should be ashamed of how they treated both me and this potential sale. Go somewhere else for your Verizon Wireless needs. read more

The rating has changed since I have used this store. Last time I gave it 5 stars. That changed. Last week, I went into the store and paid off my entire S8 note phone and order two phones. I was not sure of certain things. When I called and Zack answered and Anthony was not there, Zack would not help answer my calls. Anthony was my sales person and Zack felt Anthony should handle it. The phones I purchased were the S9 note. I paid off my phone, I bought two new phones. Anthony had no problem with doing all that. Today when I came to pick up the phones or had problems, I was rushed. I asked if Anthony if he could help pair my phone with my car, He said if he was not too busy. I asked him again, and he said he could not because he had a person waiting a half hour for him. This person was the only person in the store and their were four reps free. Anthony had no problem, taking the sale last week or the payoff on my phone. But I felt like he was trying to get me out of the door when he helped me today and that he could not take 2 minutes to pair the phone. Just two minutes. read more
